  1. Broncos LAX says:

Does Champ have any kids? lol I remember Jack Elway when he was at Creek I played saftey for Overland and that kid torched us… too bad he quit football

  2. alaskanbronco06 says:

He is a iron man i will give him credit for that. He has a will and drive to play and improve. He has been improving although not by much on my standards. But when hurt theres few who want to play more.

  3. Broncos LAX says:

Irving lost a lot of his natural ability in a near fatal Car accident his Junior year. I don’t see him succeeding at this level but if he does that would be a great story

  4. alaskanbronco06 says:

A little unknown or maybe known fact about Champ Bailey his actually first name when born was Roland Bailey Jr

  5. BroncoAussie says:

Yes Champ has a 3 year son I believe. I what love to see EFX sign that kid to a future contract because he will be great.

alaskan you are too demanding :P

  6. alaskanbronco06 says:

As a former LB myself im toughest on the position.

  7. Broncos LAX says:

Wow i posted a super long comment about the Quinn thing and it is awaiting moderation… lol guess if you have an opinion it is deemed unworthy

  8. BroncoAussie says:

The only ability that Irving lost was his straight line speed. Dropped from 4.6 to 4.8 but his mind is still all there and so is his body. He could be a good one.

That really isn’t a little know fact alaskan, everyone knows that. Boss is Ronald and their other brother is Rodney I believe. His grandmother couldn’t tell them apart and they played tricks on them with their names so the grandmother gave them nicknames Boss and Champ.

  9. Broncos LAX says:

Just as I am tough on safetys…. Moore needs to prove that an offseason will make a difference for him… tooo much talent to wait

  10. Broncos LAX says:

    waste…

  11. BroncoAussie says:

DB, but I am mostly a defensive guy.

  12. alaskanbronco06 says:

I didnt know that about them. I knew that about Champ. But thanks for the lesson Aussie. lol

LB was/is my main position. But had to often play four five different positions a game being from such a small school. Only had 25 players. I found myself playing all over. Being 6ft4 240-260 i was the guy basically.

  13. BroncoAussie says:

Well I believe that is how the story goes, Champ said that somewhere.

    Cool, playing ironman football sucks.

  14. alaskanbronco06 says:

I just cant wait for FA to start already were we could get some insight into how the draft might go.

  15. skillz_inc says:

well I am a awesome mini golfer

living in Florida for ten years does that 2 u ;)

  16. BroncoAussie says:

Bahahaha at skillz :) too funny man

  17. skillz_inc says:

lol seriously though if i would have played i would have played cb/wr
but i was better at ss/2b and pg/sg and a hell of a sweeper for my soccer teams

  18. Broncos LAX says:

FS 5’11 180 doesnt give you many options lol I liked pretending to be a WR but coaches didnt lol

  19. alaskanbronco06 says:

lol living in Alaska makes it hard to be noticed.

  20. skillz_inc says:

lol 6’1 180 lax i would have been murdered as a wr but i could play me some corner and alot tougher than my statline says ;)

  21. skillz_inc says:

alaskan u ever know of trajon langdon before he went to duke ?

  22. Broncos LAX says:

Oh I wouldn’t go down lol I played tough I was just in the coaches dog houe as they seemed to always be the target of my jokes.. hindsight says I should have joked about the 3rd string QB lol

  23. skillz_inc says:

    lol lax too funny

  24. alaskanbronco06 says:

No i didnt know of him. I knew Boozer. He played ball against my older brother.

My counter part ended up going to South dakota state or something. In a nine game season playing only 3 games then breaking your leg makes you go unnoticed more.

  25. Broncos LAX says:

Hey they were easy targets! Literally you couldnt miss these guyss on the field lol

  26. Broncos LAX says:

Wanted to harp on the Quinn fallout. I love Quinn wanting to start I don’t necessarily agree with his comments but you want that sort of competitior. As evidence through the season him and Tebow talked during defensive possensions and he was a good teamate.

If anyone ever watches first take Skip had a lot to say as usual.Skip Bayless continuely puts the Denver Broncos organization down just to back Tebow and sitting across from a knowledgeable Stephen A. Smith he shows his ignorance. Now Skip is fair in other respects I liked his defense of Tebow and his religion and where Quinn stood with his comments and what the writer left out of the article.

Never before have I seen such a debate over a singular figure and many things Smith says make so much sense.

Now I like Tebow and if he is the QB for 10 more years or gone after this season or before the season I will be 100 PERCENT fine with it Because I was a Broncos Fan before Tebow and will be one after.

Now from what has happened so far this is what makes sense to me. If Landry Jones and Matt Barkley had declared for the draft this year I believe the EFX would not have commited to Tebow. I think does not believe in Tebow and can’t be blamed for it. I think If Tebow progresses then Elway will be the happiest person in the organization but I still believe that he doesn’t think that will happen because realisticly after making the playoffs with Tebow at the helm it would make sense to fully commit to him as the QB. Bringing in 2 QBs for competition when there is already 2 QBs on the roster and potentially a 3rd in Quinn shows that Elway wants to go in a different direction and I gurantee if the Jags come knocking with their 1st round pick then we have a competition between 4 guys not named Tim Tebow for the starting job.

I am merely trying to be objective and read the actions of the organization thus far. In my opinion Tebow is not with the Broncos in 2013. I 100 Percent want Tebow to succeed IN DENVER I mean we gave up 3 draft picks for him! Just in my honest Opinion I don’t see it happening. I will continue rooting for Tebow and Denver I just feel that the FO which has much more of a say in the matter than anyone of us does not believe in Tebow anywhere near to the level that we do.

Just thinking out loud guys lol don’t want to rile anyone up just stating what I think will happen

  27. BroncoAussie says:

It is on Tebow to make EFX fall in love with him and want him back.

  28. alaskanbronco06 says:

With a full offseason, i think Tebow will be much improved

  29. Broncos LAX says:

The current FO is just allover the place and their actions tend to show that they are still looking for a suitable upgrade if you will…

  30. alaskanbronco06 says:

They also need to give Tebow the personnel and play calls that fit his style

  31. Broncos LAX says:

They will not cater the offense to Tebow to the extent of last season for long the way I interpret their thought process is progress and adapt or we have 2 or 3 other guys we brought to take your spot. Our offense of last season will not survive much longer

  32. alaskanbronco06 says:

If they want to win they need to do what is necessary to make the offense work under Tebow and need to call more pass plays he is comfortable with. and need to find player to compliment him. As Indy did with Manning Saints with Brees and Patriots with Brady

  33. skillz_inc says:

so what do u guys think about bringing in the big bruiser Brandon Jacobs?
goal line would be awesome as well as wearing down the defense even more and he is like a 6th lineman back there lol. Plus the dude can take a hit.

  34. Broncos LAX says:

But the Saints Pats and Colts didn’t find players to complement the aformentioned… they all elevated the play of their teammates. Look I like Tebow but the FO and CS is not gonna run a college offense to cater Tebow. He needs to progress or he is not going to succeed. We will not stay in games against good teams like the pats with this offense plain and simple. you need to be able to pass efficiently 30 or more times a game nowadays

  35. Broncos LAX says:

Skilz I dont think we need another aging back espeially a bruiser he has taken a pounding… we need some youth and Lamar Miler may be good in round 2… Maybe Clinton Portis but Bruisers don’t age well for RBs

  36. skillz_inc says:

True would be ok for the short term though

  37. Broncos LAX says:

Well with vets and guys who are on their last leg/opportunity one year incentive laden deals can work great and push the players

  38. skillz_inc says:

We already have Willis and we will draft another rb it is not like we are gonna throw him out there 20=25 times a year ya know i dunno

  39. skillz_inc says:

Well this is a tim tebow run offense so we may put em out there 40 times lol

  40. alaskanbronco06 says:

Im not saying that the pass style offense the run isnt what Tebow is used to. He excels at Sideline passes and they dont exactly play to that.

  41. Broncos LAX says:

I’m still skeptical on Tebow I like and want him to succeed but he needs to become a QB

  42. Broncos LAX says:

2 things holding that back… Tebows accuracy isnt consistent and CB in this league are very good at jumping routs

  43. BroncoAussie says:

Hey when you max protect with seven and only have three receivers running routes it is hard to pass in the NFL.

  44. Broncos LAX says:

Thats true when you need max protect to progress through 3 routes its also hard to pass lol there are both ends he just needs to progress

  45. alaskanbronco06 says:

He needs receivers who will catch the ball when it hits their hands and on the numbers. Sorry but having the most drops in the league by receivers isnt a good thing. Especially when 25% of them were for big plays of 20 or more yards.

  46. BroncoAussie says:

And when they can’t get open and you have to run or pass it away that also reflects badly on you. The offensive as a whole has to evolve and get better.

  47. Broncos LAX says:

How much has to do with passes being not very catchable. Brandon Weeden coming out of OSU only threw bullets being a former pitcher he had to adjust so his passes were catchable

  48. Broncos LAX says:

Agreed but it starts and ends with the QB… If Tebow gets better the offense gets better

  49. alaskanbronco06 says:

Tebow and Thomas excelled at being on the same page when Tebow left the pocket. Thomas was good at staying with him and getting open. Also the coaching staff needs to call shorter passes more to let Tebow get in a rhythm. They called a lot of deep complicated passes. Quick ins outs curls and slants would be nice to see more of.

  50. BroncoAussie says:

I agree with you LAX, Tebow throws a real hard ball with heaps of zip on it. He needs a bit more touch on his passers so they are catachable.
