In the spirit of March Madness, NFL.com has set up a bracket of its own to determine the greatest NFL team of all time. Fans vote on each matchup to determine which teams continue on to the next round.
The tournament, which began with 64 teams, is down to the Elite Eight with the 1998 Broncos up against the 2000 Ravens. Other matchups are: 1985 Bears vs. 1981 49ers, 1976 Raiders vs. 1999 Rams and 1989 49ers vs. 1984 49ers.
The ’98 Broncos are a three seed in the Don Shula Region. The team began the season with 13 consecutive victories and finished the year with a 34-19 win over the Falcons in Super Bowl XXXIII.
In the opening round of the tournament, Denver topped the ’68 Jets by a 76 percent to 24 percent margin. The next round seemed like a difficult matchup with the ’98 Broncos squad squared up against the ’97 Broncos. The fans had no problem choosing between the two, moving the ’98 Broncos into the Sweet Sixteen by a 81 percent to 19 percent vote. Next up was the 2007 Patriots squad, the two seed in the region. Denver squeaked past New England with the 53 percent to 47 percent upset.
The ’97 Broncos team, which finished the year 16-4 (including postseason) and beat the Packers in Super Bowl XXXII, received a six seed in the Shula Region. The ’97 team held off the 1984 Dolphins in the first round with a 64 percent to 36 percent victory.
Voting for the Elite Eight round ends Monday at 3 p.m. MDT. Click here to help determine which team is the greatest in NFL history.

So it looks as though we signed Hanie. Nothing to really get overly excited about……….he wasn’t very good at all last year but he also didn’t have much of a supporting cast either…..so I don’t lay the blame totally on him.
And the reality is that if Manning stays healthy all season…….he’s not going to see any action whatsoever anyways. He can prob learn a lot under Manning as well.
Turtle………seems like you’ve been such a debbie downer since your biy tebow has left. Get over it man…………and don’t be so negative towards Manning, thinking he’s going to get hurt on his first series……..Jeez man.
He has a full off-season to prepare and get back into gameshape. I’m sure he’s well aware of where he needs to be and what he needs to do to get there.
I wish more people would just be excited that we have Peyton Freakin Mannning as our QB and stop worrying about his health and him getting hurt.

I don’t know but for some reason I’m really worried we’re going to just neglect the DT need. When you don’t have good DTs it can make your LBs look poor and ultimately make your entire defense look bad. I am happy to see them adding some offensive FA so maybe they will go D heavy in the draft. We had better win a Super Bowl within 3 seasons otherwise I feel that this Manning thing was a failure. Just my opinion.

Are you guys crazytrading DJ for Samuel??? DJ williams is a great LB, a true leader, and you want to trade him for a guy who hasnt proven anything since he left the Pats for money??? The guy cant cover other than with a Bellichik Defense. You guys make me laugh and. if the FO ever does that type of trade, I will be more than pissed.

Today is the Tebow presser at noon EST, and word out here is that the Owner, GM, and HC will NOT be there….
I think DJ played great for us last season and def earned his keep. I agree that trading him wouldn’t be a great move at this point. Just hope that suspension gets dropped cause we need him out there.
I agree we keep DJ, he’s only 29. We do need a DT, but we do have Warren, Vickerson and hopefully we resign Thomas. I could see us drafting 2 DT’s, which would be the best thing for our defense IMO
I go out of town for a few days and Kaileb haine is our backup what the hell happened.

DO………there wasn’t really much on the market for back-ups and I guess they thought he has shown promise in the past so they’re taking a chance on him. If all goes according to plan, we’ll never see him play a snap anyways. lol

Talking about “morning snooze.” The DP was near death this morning. I think there was only one new Broncos article since yesterday. Wish they would write some articles featuring our new players.
Weekend was good. Headed to the beach for a week or so, and will be out of pocket a bit. We have WIFI in our condo, so I’ll still be checking in from time to time to try to keep up.
