Tim Tebow brought all of us happiness and a belief in our team he made this franchise relevant in my mind and I will always root for him on and off the field he is a Great role model.

I was a little disappointed in the draft although I did pick the Osweiler, Wolfe and Blake moves.

The Broncos should have kept the additional 4th round pick in my mind and gotten another DT like Daniels from IOWA or Billy Winn from Boise. For them to say Bolden would have been a 2nd pick if he wasn't injured is flat out wrong and fantasy. Has anyone seen the Ariz St vs Cal game where Bolden gets used the whole game by Marvin Jones.

I would have liked Turbin RB in the fourth Round as a cheap version of Doug Martin. Blake is a great pick because we had no depth there @ G and Center.

I like the College Free Agent pick ups of Judie from Texas A&M and Eric Page of Toledo. The DE from OSU looks like a guy with a non Stop Motor. This Draft will come down too Osweiler and can he develop into a starter.

I really Hope Mario Fannin is healthy because he may be the big back we need with Willis M.

EXACTLY Beast i thought we were going for a powerful durable back. Guess we heard wrong. I also thought we were going for starters like a 3down RB like Martin. But i suppsoe the have given up on Moreno and Want a real screen back with blazing speed so that Manning can do his dump offs.

Agreed TRB,I wanted Doug Martin too,but Hillman is supposed to be like Sproles, with versatility, but I thought we needed a power Back,or at least a 1000 yard a season RB!

I just don't like the fact that some bloggers love for Tebow makes them so mad, that they want us to fail with Manning.

DB,I wasn't attacking you, just telling the truth, you do not like Manning, you have said so in many ways, that's you right, but to say he raped the Broncos and sucked us dry, makes me think you you are anti Manning, and you still praise Tebow,I like Tebow too,but he's not a Bronco, and I root for my team...The Denver Broncos!!!!!!!

Stop the Manning bashing!

ya trb that was the worst one. you said it exactly right- we gave up a 1st and 4th for a 2nd and fourth. say what??!! i was thinking the nfl network had misprinted what the trade was at 1st. i was even saying it out loud "man they got that trade wrong, i wonder what we really got". was horrible!

well trb my comment kinda pertains to you then too. i agree 'get over it' is a bit much but actively rooting for him to do better is legitamately scorned. i will never insinuate that a player should be fortgotten about and if i've made it seem like that then thats on me. i understand the love for the man tebow and i absolutely respect it. i am very supportive of anyone as good a person as tebow is and i personally hope he does very well. i really want that known as i think i've gotten a reputation for 'hating' tebow and its just dead wrong. love the guy. did not at all like the guy as the qb of the denver broncos. my arguments against those that want him back here or want the jets to now do better than the broncos are so strong i guess i can see how i can be portrayed as anti-tebow tho.

oh and DSIM!!!! (really like that one)

LBF, You may be right but we all knew hightower was not a possibility for us. We just had no interest in MLB. But like you what really ticked me off was what we got for all our trade downs. Especially when we traded down to the 2nd round and lost doug martin, just for the opportunity to move up in the 4th round. So we traded our 1st and 4th for there 2nd and 4th. That ticked me off real bad.

Football is very large on blidn obsessive love. People are already gushing over manning before seeing him do anyhing (same for luck, rg3) ... just a part of footall. Just cuz u want a guy to do well on another team shouldn't be a bad thing. Altho if u want him to do so well and your team do so poor thats another thing all together i suppose. But i want Him to do great, and i want him to win a superbowl. Doesn't mean it will happen and doesn't mean "oh thats one superbowl victory u are reserving for the guy over your team". Things will play out the way they will play out whether we like it or not.

alex i dont think 72 is refering to fond memories. he's referring to preference to see tebow win with another team than the broncos win. the blind obsessive love for the guy that causes some to actually hate the fo for trading him, and manning for replacing him. your fond memories are just fine and i share them. he was definately something and so was last year. will always be a fascinating year in our history.

great piece btw on hillman. hopefully he comes out swinging and really exels in this league. he seems to have a great personality and i see good things in him myself. but we dont know how it'll turn out. i still do not like our draft all that much but it could suprise. i've discussed what i wish we'd done before but doing what we did we should have at least gotten more picks than we did trading down. it still irks me we passed on hightower. wolf is not better than hightower. could change later but i dont think so.

Just because a guy doesn't dawn the jersey anymore doesn't mean the fans will stop loving him. Especially if u love him as more than a player. It is what it is. Some people are over it. Some not so much. Its still fresh in peoples minds with the lack of football news. Telling em to just get over it is pointless. Happens with many players not just the aforementioned one. This is not a unique situation. Nothing says u can't love a team and a separate player that once played for your team because loyalties are not easily severed. Case in point, if the broncos organization moved to LA and Denver got a new team (this would never happen) ... would your relationship to the original broncos be severed because Denver is not the city that proceeds the name? Fans don't get over things easily cuz they didn't have a choice in the matter. But you guys are right in one thing, EFX chose thier guy, for better or worse, we got a new QB and life only moves in one direction ... But don't expect people to just "get over it" is all im saying. Especially when theres so little to talk about. My thoughts at least.

Well said Alex.

Later days, TRB

ps: like TGIF, we need something for monday lol. Like DSIM (Damn Satan Its Monday) lol.
