We can beat the Jets and their blitzes by quick slants, bubble screens, center screens, quick WR screens, etc. How about a shovel pass to the inside? Works great when they are blitzing--back just looks like he got beat on the block, doesn't run out of the backfield so isn't picked up as a receiver and gets to start in the open field. On D, watch for McD to go to a 4-3 this week, he's already hinted on some "options." With limited LB's available, this could be the week. We can cover their WR's man-to-man. Keep rotating in WR's to go deep, and let's see their DB's gasping by the third quarter in the mile high atmosphere. We have the WR's to do it--even with Revis and Cromartie, we match up better and someone will be getting a boatload of catches--probably Royal this week! GO BRONCOS!!

wow! a lot of mixed feelings in here.. :D and rehashing Cutler-and Marshall what-ifs...idk.. kind of old but i respect all the opinions.

My take, the Oline play has been awful..hopefully, getting healthy w/ another week to practice allows everyone to get on the same page..atleast progress.
This Jets defense blitzes all day, something we've been having trouble controlling. I saw them blitzing corners and safeties all day.
We NEED the running game going.
And we saw LT light up that star-studded Viking DL. The Jets no doubt have a more talented OL. This will be a tough game! BUT definitly WINNABLE!!!
:D
Go Broncos! game-plan

Well one thing's for sure I've spent a lot of time doing research and trying to prove points while writing on this site, and in real life I spend most of my time joking. I'll try to let that into my writing. You are funny Baylin. The fan rant made me chuckle out loud. I'll make sure I give you your props the next time that happens. I can't promise not to bring up arguments featuring statistics, that site credible analysts, or that make comparisons to other teams past present or future etc. But I will try not to be repetitive and I promise it won't hurt my feelings if you don't counter with anything, because I have fun trying to prove there's some substance to the kool aid I'm sippin' :)

B&R, you blog how you want, like I told you the other day just don't worry if I don't always participate with you, your arguments are often to no end and they usually don't move on, just like this link you put up, it basically says exactly the same thing I just said, the point was made, it's just overkill like a lot of stuff you do, and it just gets overbearing after a while, but that's obviously how you roll, so be it, if it's done in a fun and friendly way I'll communicate, if it's tedious and overly agressive, I won't. My motto is life is too short to drink cheap beers, same as life is too short to enter into tedious conversations. The shows you refer to, those guys are getting paid for it, we are not professional anything here, we are not earning a dime, so I won't work at tedious argumenting just for the sake of arguing , I only do it if it's for fun, just like the games should be, this is an entertainment package, not a labor camp, you sound very smart so you should understand where I'm coming from. Ok now we can move on and I'm gonna have fun, ever notice some of the funny stuff I enter here at times, why don't you ever comment on any of that? Like what I posted above following this one dude's comment:

Dat was da best darn fan rant I hear dat far.

Or like what I posted today on the Cooper blog:

Like I said the other day, everyone is executing so badly in the running game that McD is going to execute the whole bunch of them himself, LOL.

I mean maybe that doesn't make you laugh, but some others find it real funny, try to relax and enjoy the blog for everything it is man, entertainment, not just x's and o's, and who is right and who is wrong and grinding it into the ground, life is too short, see, here we go, my motto again... Anyhow enjoy it however you want of course, just try to be kind enough not to drag me down into the nitty gritty overkill arguments on a regular basis, that would be much appreciated.

I wasn't comin at you about the downhill thing Baylin. It's something I've been unsure about and you're a guy who seems to know what he's talking about. So when you made the AP comment I thought it was a good time to get it cleared up. If you look at past blogs you'll recall there's a number of points I've agreed with you on, and I've argued AND agreed with guys like TRB, OC, and Beast. This honestly has been fun for me. I'm sorry if I've been a kill joy but I can't bring myself to state an opinion without supporting it with a fact. When I argue a point it's no more serious to me than it is to the guys on PTI. Like them I'm just a guy who loves to talk about sports. I apologize if my tone has suggested anything different. I work and go to school full time so I have plenty of "better" things to do but participating in this blog is something I LIKE to do. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite things to do. If my input is really that unwelcome please let me know.

(just an example of what writers are saying about Denver)

Defense Trumps Offense, In Case You Were Wondering Denver brought the NFL's No. 1 passing attack to Baltimore to face the No. 1 passing defense -- and the Broncos did not cross midfield until a minute remained in the first half. Baltimore did not use any unusual coverages, merely outplayed the Broncos, dropping Kyle Orton from first in passer rating to eighth. Denver was held to 39 yards rushing while Baltimore ran for 233 yards, and that swung the contest to the home team.

Trailing by the new economy score of 24-7, Denver reached fourth-and-3 on the Nevermores' 19 with 11:54 remaining. Josh "When Does the Frat Party Start?" McDaniels sent in the kicking unit, and TMQ wrote the words "game over" in his notebook. Down by 17 points on the road late against a power defense, taking a field goal on fourth-and-short doesn't cut it. True, Baltimore was likely to win no matter what McDaniels called on this down -- but going for it was Denver's sole hope at that point.

Thank you to both OC and TRB for not participating in this dissecting of everything I say just looking for points to argue, you saw the big picture and you knew exactly what I meant, no other agenda. Love blogging with you guys because you know how to have fun with this game, it's a game last I checked, right? Why are so many people treating it with the seriousness that it is life and death, this is getting ridiculous, this is my time now to say to some of you orange kool aid drinking fans that you are totally losing all perspective in this game we play, you guys outta go play some war games somewhere, you might be better equipped for that.

Actually OC that obviously was my intent bur B&R is right in the sense that a downhill runner is referred to a runner who runs with the direction that the field falls to. All fields are concave to let rain run off, so the highest spot is in the center of the field and the lowest on the sidelines, so running towards the sidelines can be considered downhill ruunning.

That being said that wasn't my intent at all, AP is just a brutal agressive runner who will go at any side of the field because he has the strength to break tackles in the middle and the speed to leave defenders in his dust anywhere on the field. And obviously I was referring to AP having no luck whatsoever up the middle last night. I've learned to see in a very short time that B&R is very precise in all his opinions, he dissects everything, very complicated stuff, just like McD, overly cerebral to a fault, but heck to each his own, I'm not here to judge bloggers even so many seem to have nothing better to do than just that.

I am just here to have fun, and football should ultimately be fun and when McD makes it so complicated I honestly don't see how much room there is left for the players to have fun, same with B&R, at times his intellect kills the fun, just me and no big deal, we all are who we are, we beat to a different drum, no reason to beat down on the ones who don't tick like you do. Hard concept for many young fans here to grasp, just live and learn kind of thing I guess.
