Bronco.man, I have to agree that Tebow might have been a good answer on the 4th and 3, however, I also have to agree with May25. Tebow went in twice and didn't get but one yard on his bread and butter play from college, and down close to the end zone that field is even smaller for him to manuver. Also, it was Loyd, not Gaffney that made the catch out of bounds. We will be good with Orton. Teboe needs musch more grooming before he is ready.

Bronco.man - Tebow proved unsuccessful earlier in the game. That's why he didn't go back in. Anything he "showed" in preseason was against second and third string players. He is NOT ready for the speed of starters.

As for OC saying after a 0-2 start he'll start calling for Tebow to start...do you really want to ruin ANY chance we have of winning those games? We won several games that we were supposed to last year. Orton is doing great, and will do even better when we have a healthy O-line (please please please come back soon Harris). Leave Tebow along and let him develop properly and then MAYBE he'll be a good NFL QB later. Plenty of great College QBs have gone on to to completely fail in the NFL. Just because he was good with a good team doesn't mean he's ready to be good in the NFL

I seem to remember a lot of trash talk coming from the Jets. A word from the wise, make sure you can convert a first down and stop the other team from converting them BEFORE you talk about how awesome you are.

maybe weis will take brady quinn in KC cuz Cassel looks like complete butt lol. But then again so does brady quinn. speaking of quinn, we already knew who got the better end of the deal and hillis put in work for the browns. altho he did fumble twice which is not very hillis like. Would still take him over quinn but then McD prolly didnt know he would get tebow and prolly thought he was sooooooooo amazing, he could revive BQs career. So much for that. So we are out a powerback on a team that runs the power O and that always has injured RBs dating back to before McDaniels time. Efficiency is my biggest gripe with McD. Doesn't use picks efficiently, personnel efficiently, etc. But its not just him i suppose, its the whole front office. Looking forward to seattle game. Hopefully we can pulll of a win. we are not THAT bad. TRB out....

ps: how crazy is this, everyone in the AFC west has a loss. EXCEPT THE CHEIFS. HAHAHAHAHA

What was really disappointing was that McD had the perfect opportunity to use Tebow and didn't. On 4th and 3, when the Broncos could have gained 3 yards and gotten four more shots at the end zone, they had the perfect weapon--a qb who could have run, passed or pitched the ball--and has four years of training and demonstrated ability to read defenses and pick the correct option. There's a reason he holds the SEC TD record, the Heisman, and was 90% successful when needing short yardage for a first down or touchdown. Come on, McD, when you have a 245 pound qb, who is a power back and can also throw, and you need three yards in the red zone. play him! Throwing an out into the end zone is a high risk option, and was totally unnecessary. Gaffney made a miraculous catch (one hand) on a poorly thrown pass, and couldn't stay inbounds. I've seen Tebow convert plenty of those short yardage plays, some with a shovel pass, others running up the middle, and still others running off tackle. If you spread the defense, he will find a way to get your three yards!

Ravens are predicated by many to go to the Super Bowl. They look really good last night night.

I picked both home Teams to win last night and Chiefs came thru. As I posted sometime after the draft, Chiefs aquired some talented players. Quite a few contributed to their win last night. McCluskey from Ole Miss had a nice return. Crennel's defense came up with a big stop at the end.

They're 2-0 vs division rivals including our season ending loss to them last year.

We actually don't play a division rival this year until week #7. (Raiders).

I have faith that we can imptove upon the positives of the Jags game, and learn from our mistakes. However, the youth of this team at so many positions has my faith a little shaky, wait very shaky!! If we don't beat Seattle at home, we are in big trouble. Restore confidence in my faith boys!! You to McNUtt head. Quit yealling at the players like they are children! BTW you only needed three yards for a first and goal on 4th down, and then you get three more chances to score!!!

We lost to the Bears in 07 Bay. That was the year after they went to the superbowl. That game was painful to watch! Not only because of kicking the ball to Devin Hester, but it also pretty much knocked us out of any chance at the playoffs that year.

We better find an answer for ST or it will be a long season. At this point I see that being our biggest issue (kickoff and punt coverage). With KC twice and their return game I saw last night, we are in trouble if this aspect of our game isn't improved on immediately!!
