KM has little to apologize for.

He is a good young leader and a hard working guy. He'll be a bronco for a long time.

He had some mistakes, but the o-line was pretty bad in front of him. I'm not sure that even HILLIS could have gotten a yard or two that KM couldn't.

I hope we get a lot of help in the interior o-line and d-line this off-season!

km did his thang yall we didnt have our stud at right tackle due to a toe ending his season and dat kinda were we went bad for the season when he was playin we had a winning record but this not the same league as it was 5 to 10yrs ago were you could rely on just 1 back carrying the load i wish hillis and jordan wouldve been used for short yard situations

I thought Robert Ayers really came on late towards the end of the season. He was about a half a second away from five sacks in the past few weeks. I think Knowshon will be fine once Denver has an offensive line with an identity as either a power or zone blocking one and not some hybrid in-between. Keep in mind that Moreno also had over 200 receiving yards that resulted in 10 first downs and two receiving touchdowns on top of his somewhat disappointing rushing numbers. I thought Moreno had a decent year. Expectations were high and he disappointed some, but I think he will prove to be an excellent running back and all-around football player in the years to come.

Moreno would have done even better if McDaniels would rush outside with him. That is the reason he didn't have any big runs. He always ran between the tackles. Ayers will probably replace Haggan in the next year or two, don't rule him a bust yet. Alphonso Smith was a bad move. He would be great if we hadn't traded a 1st to get him. His performance was like a 2nd or 3rd rounder. He has potential, but needs to put in a lot of effort. I wish we still had Foxworth. Marshall is out of here. There is no way they patch their relationship now. Dumervil better get resigned, but I haven't heard anything about that either. He'll want a lot of money. We haven't resigned anyone yet.

Everyone has the right to speak what they feel and I (for 1) thought that with the o-line that we had last year that KM would get 1200-1400 yards this year. And with the way that the season started that looked to me like it was a very possible number. But at times it looked like Moreno would run with his head down too much and miss the holes or the cutback that might have sprung him for bigger gains. Mind you I'm not a running backs scout or coach(LOL) but there it is. :-)
That's OK Brian, We already knew that was a lie. But a funny one anyway.LOL
GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

@emaldo: I nver said that KM or Ayers wouldn't pay off. I'm not a running back scout I just know a thing or two about how to run the football. In your earlier comment about not having a great RB in NE. You're right they don't but they also have a guy named Tom Brady. Just like in Indy, they don't have an awesome running game, they have Manning. He'll get better but even an "average joe" like myself know some things about the game.

Oh and by the way I am an NFL RB scout. Who do you think brought in Davis.

KM would've been a 1200 yd 8-10 td back under Shanny out the gate guaranteed. Under this new offensive scheme he will be good for a long time but never put up mind blowing #s. When was the last time you seen a great RB in NE while Belichick was at the helm? He will get better, the thing I like about him is the way he pops up after a hit or tackle and gets ready for the next play, he's a gamer. I think he was a perfect pick for us and I really enjoyed watching him play this year.

Knowshon was never expected to break big runs coming out of college. Although he's quick, he's not fast. His value is how difficult he is to tackle and how he'll consistently pick up 6-10 yards per carry and break one for 20 or more on occasion. He broke away in college enough to look like a speedster, but everyone's that fast in the NFL.

He's no Chris Johnson, but he is his own style.

I was really disappointed in KM this year. I mean sure, if you want to look at it from the fact that he is a rookie, he did okay. But his consistent inability to get that .5 to 1 yard on crucial plays was an extreme source of frustration for me all season long. Yes, the line wasn't that great, but the premiere RBs of the league can always make something out of nothing. I'll be interested to see how he attacks the holes next season. All I ask is that McD will have a shorter leash with him next season and if he's not getting the job done, get someone in there that can.
