Monday’s Practice Time Changed

August 13th, 2012 - 8:04am by Stuart Zaas

Due to inclement weather forecasted for this afternoon, the Denver Broncos have moved today’s public practice to 10:35 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. It had previously been scheduled for 2:20-5 p.m.

That practice will still be open to the public free of charge at the team’s Dove Valley training facility. Gates will open at 9:35 a.m.

Hopfully there’ll be a trivia question today. I totally missed Saturday’s and I want that prize pack! hahaha

Looking forward to reading about the practice!

  2. tlcat06 says:

Me too! Quinton Carter is @ practice, not practicing, but he’s there!

  3. killerkod says:

Hey cat……………siad morning to ya earlier but it got caught a couple blogs back……………

Hope you’re doing well………..must be getting uber pumped for this weekend………..bet it can’t come fast enough! lol

  4. tommy_zito says:

Man changing the practice time an hour before it starts is like stealing candy from a baby!!! Was so excited to go watch some football today and then NOPE! lets change the time to earlier and then post the time a hour and a half before it starts!

  5. tlcat06 says:

Yeah I can’t wait!!! I hope it doesn’t take forever to get to Denver on Saturday or I might go crazy! Got my hotel booked, just need to wash my jersey. Had a nightmare last night that Peyton held a press conference and said he was retiring. I’m not ready for that!

  6. tlcat06 says:

Tommy, I don’t think they can control the weather.

  7. killerkod says:

No need to wash the jersey cat…………only takes away from it! hahaha

  8. tlcat06 says:

LOL… A boys perspective. I got to try and get the wrinkles out. I don’t like how the new jerseys wrinkle.

  9. louisianabroncofan says:

haha cat you tell em!! glad to see all of the positive views of the team and where they are at. the roster does look strong so lets hope it works when we take the field for the regular season. i agree with everthing from mike rice on the previous post including the emphasis on ’1st preseason game’. way too early to get over excited or overly worried. theres alot to work through right now and considering that we do look pretty good. who knows maybe we’ll be on a super bowl run this year instead of next year…..

  10. louisianabroncofan says:

    thats a good point kod

  11. tlcat06 says:

Peyton’s having a better practice today. On 1 v 1 he had long deep completion to Decker and then nice passes to Thomas, Willis and Caldwell.

  12. tlcat06 says:

Ok, then, tell me how to get the wrinkles out without washing it!!! I don’t want to iron it, what if I iron the number on accident?

  13. tlcat06 says:

LBF, wouldn’t it be awesome? Super Bowl run this year? I figure Manning can only get better as time goes on.

  14. tlcat06 says:

Jason Hunter is a fighter! Another fight involving him today.

  15. killerkod says:

I have no worries………..Peyton and this O is just going to get better and better the more practice and pre-season snaps they take together. The next couple games will be very important to the development of the O.

  16. tlcat06 says:

I wasn’t worried at all, and since my dog has been sick and I still don’t have results from his test and since Peyton had a bad practice Saturday… Yeah, all the sudden I’m a HUGE worrywart over it!

  17. killerkod says:

and hey LBF! Nice to see ya bro!

I dunno cat…………maybe just pop it in the dryer on air or something? Or get your hands on a steam iron? LOL I would be more worried as to what the wash cycle might do to the jersey.

  18. tlcat06 says:

If I wasn’t so attached I think it’d be different.

  19. tlcat06 says:

Kod, it’s machine washable. I’m not worried so much about washing it. Trying to get the wrinkles out is key. My brother might have a steam iron…. Good idea!

  20. Jwscout says:

I must say, The defense as a whole impressed me! On the offense, I really liked what I saw in the following players… Adam Webber, Hill, and willis. Those were the stand outs to me, even though mostly everyone looked good. Except Hanie… He looked terrible!

My first BBBP QB depth chart.. Manning, Webber, Oswieller.

  21. louisianabroncofan says:

o yes cat that would. i figure we’ll take some time, 5 or 6 games or so, to get going this year and that may make it tough to win the division if someone else goes crazy and wins a bunch of games. but if we get going sooner and things start clicking and/or the other teams in our division struggle we can come together and play well enough when it matters come playoff time and suprise some people. when you have manning playing like manning and a top 15 d theres a definate chance. we’ll know soon enough how much of the old manning will be behind center this year and i personally think he wont miss a beat once he gets going and comfortable.

  22. tlcat06 says:

LBF, I think that’s a huge piece of it right now. He is not comfortable with us yet, hasn’t had time to really get that comfortable. These preseason games will help and I hope they have him play in the fourth preseason game because I think he needs to practice.

  23. CARAMELLOO says:

My bro my bro louisianabronco. I’ve been waiting to catch you on here so I could get your thoughts on Mr. Honey Potter I mean Badger. I think it will help the Tigers more than it will hurt them. Man I can’t wait to see my LSU Tigers on Saturday and my Broncos on Sunday, or Monday, or Thursday.

  24. louisianabroncofan says:

hey kod u2 man, and as the season approaches i’m hoping to be getting back to regular blogging. should be able to assuming things slow down enough but they usually do about fall. I am pumped for a broncos season more than i have been since we picked up jake plummer! i hope this turns out a little better!!

  25. louisianabroncofan says:

ya mello been awhile man, i saw some of your posts and was glad to see you back. ya know unfortunately it didnt suprise me when they dismissed honey pot, he is a trouble maker. but yes i know what you mean, he is a distraction in a way and now our secondary can play as a unit that has something to prove instead of working ‘around’ mathieu and his ‘stature’. always hurts to lose great talent but i think it will make the guys that will be in there stronger having something to prove.

  26. louisianabroncofan says:

and i do hear ya on the season coming up for BOTH our teams. finally. something to look forward to on both levels and man it should be a great football year this year. i will be loving the weekends this year thats for sure!

  27. killerkod says:

a little better as in actually winning the AFC championship game? hahaha

  28. louisianabroncofan says:

hate to post and run but lunch is over. i’ll try and get back a little later. see ya cat, kod, and mello. and GO BRONCOS!!

  29. tlcat06 says:

Chat later LBF! Have a good day!

  30. tlcat06 says:

Another shooting! This one near Texas A & M… Seriously? ;(

  31. CARAMELLOO says:

Good catching up with ya lbf! Yes it will be an exciting football season. Both of our teams finally have real QB’s now to add to it.

  32. tlcat06 says:

Caramelloo Real quarterbacks are always a plus.

  33. tlcat06 says:

A great day of practice today! I can’t wait til Saturday!!!

  34. killerkod says:

So the Jets are practicing the “TOP SECRET WILDCAT!” hahahahaha

  35. onetrackmind says:

lmfao, Kod. Top secret my ass. Jets are gonna be horrible. They took Tebow into an already divided locker room with an underachieving, whiny QB already there. It’ll be a train wreck.

  36. tlcat06 says:

Kod, that’s HILARIOUS… Do you think it could be that secret? Who gets more concessions made for him than any other QB in the history of football? One guess. First and last name start with a T.

  37. wolfedom says:

    new blog

  38. CARAMELLOO says:

    cat…… a major plus!!
