Great player who deserves this award. I vote for him as defensive rookie of the year too. This guy knows how to ball and hes made a huge improvement in his coverage skills and awareness. More importantly (i wish he'd read this) he as been a stand up human being and from what i have seen has been a big positive influence in the locker room. To me a great player off the field who doesn't get in trouble and works hard to get better is just as important as a great player on the field. He deserves this praise and defensive rookie of the year. I can see defensive player of the year at least for the AFC. GO VON! GO BRONCOS! Von Miller, what an athlete. It is not known if McClain was involved in the incident. McClain was out of practice Wednesday with an ankle injury. He reportedly was not at practice in Oakland on Thursday, either. The team is aware of the incident. It is not known if McClain was cleared to leave the team Wednesday. Usually, injured players go through rehabilitation at the team facility. Police in McClain’s hometown of Decatur said they responded to a call at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday. When officers arrived, they reportedly found one person who had been injured in a physical altercation. The incident is currently under investigation, and McClain reportedly has not been arrested or charged in the disturbance. Earlier this year, in Decatur, shots were reportedly fired at McClain’s vehicle in a separate incident, according to the news report. Minnesota must be VERY hungry ... I look for more good things from the D - if the OL holds up we SHOULD pull it off ... I'm VERY WARY, but I'll stick w/ the Broncos, mainly because of our pass rush and their rookie QB ...
