NFL Network continued its countdown of the top 100 players in 2012 last night with another Bronco making the list.
Von Miller came in at No. 52, joining RB Willis McGahee (98) and Elvis Dumervil (68) as Broncos players that have made the list thus far.
“The type of guy that I am, all that stuff doesn’t matter to me,” Miller said on the show. “It’s all about winning games and the ultimate goal of winning that Lombardi Trophy.”
Miller earned All-Pro, Pro Bowl and Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year honors after finishing his first NFL season with 11.5 sacks. He is one of four rookies to make the list.
Tackle Ryan Clady, who has seen plenty of Miller’s ability from practicing against him, joined the show sporting similar frames to Miller’s signature look.
“He’s just such a fast player, it’s tough sometimes to get your hands on him,” Clady said. “He’ll probably be in the Pro Bowl for the rest of his career. He’s one of those types of guys.”
Cornerback Champ Bailey also talked about Miller’s unique skill-set on the show.
“Just that rare athleticism that he has, I think his ability to bend his body and his speed and combination of power and strength – you usually don’t see that in young guys right away,” Bailey said. “It’s just rare to have that kind of speed for his size.”

Believe it or not – Daddy has spent time in all three of Colorado’s state penitentiaries…..Ordway, Buena Vista and Cannon City. Have seen death row in all three.
but…I was going in with a long line of juvenile delinquents working in the SCARED STRAIGHT and SHAPE UP programs.
got to strap everyone of those little buggers into the electric chair and let either their mom or a social worker look through the little window at them.
Howdy folks. Tired as heck. Just want to say
52 for Miller???? You gotta be kidding me!!!!! He deserved to be higher IMO.
Anyways had a long day. AB is off to bed with my fiancee.
I can get used to that
Peace out everyone.

Since we’re sharing lock up stories….
I worked at Joliet Correctional Center (Blues Brothers fame) and then Stateville Correctional Center, after they closed Joliet in 02. Worked for 5 and a half years. Took a contract buyout before I was vested in my pension.
I was the first person ever (and only) in the State of Illinois to be certified SORT (special operations response team) before I was certified as a Correctional Officer. So I had a reputation among staff and…uh…residents…ahem…incarcerated individuals….as somewhat of a hotshot. It caused me more problems than I wanted to deal with in my early twenties. (At the time, I was gonna be FBI or CIA)… By year 3, I had enough. I guess calling out an assistant warden while having beverages one evening while on relase from our installment plan (lol), didn’t help my cause. If you know me, I don’t back down to bullies. Especially when I’m just trying to do the right thing. Not my fault I was young, motivated and disciplined…..
Anyway. After 5 and a half years….the union had it out for me. So I took the money and ran. Literally. Like ran. Out the front gate. Saw the union prez on my way out and told her she was #1 using a certain finger, usually reserved for raiders fans.
What a pain in the neck that ordeal turned out to be. Lmao
But looking back, I was pretty lucky to experience what I did. Which contributed to who I am today. And. I’d have never became a paramedic if the buyout had never been offered.
So? Where’s that glass? Fill it up. So I can stretch my neck back and drink it down…
just asking a question but besides the season ticket holders on this site, how many go to games outside of denver. just asking
Good Morning My Broncos Family!
Never been in jail and never plan on it either……….not even the drunk tank thank god. I’ve had a couple brushes with the law before but always managed to walk away.
Thanks for the countdown turtle! lol and you’re right…….it was only after the season was over we were counting down almost the same amount of days to the draft…………hopefully it won’t seem as long this time round. At least there will be more camps and training camp to discuss before that first pre-season game.
Congrats on the tix to the KC game cbf…………I’m extremely jealous. I’m hoping to make it to a Broncos game at home this year but I’m not sure the finances will allow it. Wait and see I guess………my 1 year old little girl certainly drains the ole pocket book! lol
OT………….good luck to your blue shirts tonight. I’m calling the devils 3-2 in OT……..just to get on your nerves! hahaha If the rangers do manage to pull out the series, they’re going to be up against a much fresher team……..having played only 14 games as opposed to the 21 by the rangers. That could play a huge part in the potential match-up. Hopefully my Oilers will make the playoffs next season.
What up kod? I’m going all in with my prediction for tonight, with a 3-1 Rangers win, with my boy Chris Krieder being the difference. Game 7 at MSG would be crazy, and who wouldn’t want bonus hockey? Get ‘er done fellas! I agree that the Kings will be fresh, and the Rangers are also banged up, but I think the winner of this series takes it all. Them Cali boy are soft.. Lol
gary bettman would blow in his pants if it was a ranger/ la final. one more year kod and we will have the oiler jets rivalary back us in winnipeg hate the oilers it goes way back
Good morning, folks. Wow! Amusing, as well as amazing, to read all of the jail stories last night. Who would have imagined? Certainly not me. Gosh, my one and only brush with the law was one little speeding ticket in Nebraska, of all places, on one of our trips out west in 2004. $150 mail-in fine for going 65 in a 55. Nothing before, nothing since, and I was already a “quinquagenarian” by then. That’s probably pretty boring to some of you guys, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
Catch you guys later. Got to get to work around here. Go Broncos!
Goodmorning, Bronco Country what the Neck is going on this morning TGIF, ILMSDBF

Good morning Bronco Country!!!!
Gonna finish that stinkin’ fence today if it kills me.
Tide – no arrests and only one ticket reminds me of my wife. Must be a female thing.
My own testimonial above could lead one to believe that Daddy has lead a fairly pure life which isn’t exactly so.
I was first arrested and returned to my parents for showing an officer the bird as an 8 year old.
I had my only encounter with handcuffs – actually zip ties – after I elbowed a female officer in the facemask of her riot gear – she went down – in the midst of a racial confrontation on my highschool campus.
Lost my license in CO because of too many points and was driving on a suspended license for my honeymoon in 1986.
Was charged with ‘gross negligence in the discharge of a firearm’ in ’97 when some drunks decided to throw rocks at my house to wake us up. I was just trying to scare them and I succeeded. We lived on 300 acres at the time. Misdemeanor – was fined.
Was charged with hunter trespass in 2003 – could have beat this but the gun and fine cost less than the price of beating the charge. So I just paid.
So – now you know – my risky lifestyle applies to more than just having 13 children. LOL
Couldn’t tell you how many tickets and pull overs I’ve had because it would be impossible to remember, but I recall that I was pulled over 13 times before I got my first ticket – but not really because as a 15 year old prior to being licensed I was pulled over for doing 90 on a 35. I swapped seats before the officer got to the window and then paid the ticket which was $25 back then.
I was taken to the police station 3 times for fights in highschool. The worst is when I pissed off my french teacher so bad he was following me out to the dirt parking lot to fight. Somebody ran and narked to the administration and they intervened. Then is was almost funny to watch the school sweep that under the rug in order to protect that teacher.
Currently I have two trailer violations that have to be taken care of. Both of which will likely cost over $1000 each.
Point is: Christians aren’t perfect – just forgiven!!!
some of us need that more than others – LOL
There is an article on the main page of the Broncos website about playbooks going digital. An amazing idea to say the least. Kudos to the organization and just another example of why we are the best pro sports organization around!
Broncos Country Strong 2012!
Have a safe, fun and Happy Memorial Day weekend Broncos Country!
To all the american bloggers……..enjoy your long weekend! We had ours here in Canada last weekend, although at this point I’m wishing we had another already! lol Next one for us is July 1st, Canada Day. Guess there won’t be much broncos news now til the second week of OTA’s start up.
Sndvl – I always remember you as Sun Devil – Sorry
Realized from your write up above that you are one of the ‘good guys’ LOL
Glad you’re not with the FBI. My friend with the FBI has more than his share of family troubles – seems to be chronic in the organization.
That digital playbook looks awesome – I’d love to know the price of that with software and security included???
I wonder how many teams have this set-up? maybe the Broncos are leading the way would be nice to know for sure
d
No apology necessary DaddyBronc. It has ties to the Sun Devils. My handle was created in homage to Jake ‘The Snake’ Plummer, when he was operating the naked boot (to perfection) in Orange & Blue. It is also my last name SaNDoVaL….sans vowels!!!!! I usually include my birthdate, April 1… But no player of significance has donned 41 for our beloved Broncos. Lol.
As Paul Harvey would say- “and that’s the rest of the story”
Test
Hm. The mobile site doesnt need my password. Wierd

Have a great weekend, folks!
I hate you lost your brother bfe, thats tough. I lost a close friend to a car accident August 12, ’99. That was hard to get over for me. Yall be sure and be safe i know im going to the mudbug festival & eatin at least 30 pounds of crawfish with some corn and potatoes. Love that stuff!!
Who cares about the list of top 100. If champ didn’t make it, obviously somebody doesn’t know their ass from their mouth!
Sorry to hear BFE. Please let me know if you need anything and I will do what I can. Even if you need someone to talk to, I’m here! Will keep your family in my prayers!
Miller earned all the honors he got in his rookie campaign. But watch Von in his second year — teamed with Doom … this is gonna be a wild ride and an amazing season … weekly as Von and Doom create havoc in the backfield and for opposing quarterbacks. Don’t you love it!!! The sacks are fun; but most important is the FEAR FACTOR these twin dynamos create in the mind of the QB.
Can’t wait to see the Dumervil-Miller tandem reek havoc in the backfield this year. Is it football season yet??
