I agree that we could upgrade in the middle, but right now we are capable. You forget, our entire linebacking corps was hurt this season too. We had our second and third team linebackers in there, sometimes out of position. Lauranitis would be a brutal pick. We need speed, and our starting linebackers are fast right now. Maybe a FA MLB, but no sense in spending a first round pick on one. Our secondary has been our biggest concern (not counting Champ). I think we can get our D-Line in order via free agency and allowing some of our younger guys to mature. But Taylor Mays is a freak that could become a Sean Taylor type player. Can't pass that up. If we can sign someone, good for us, if not Robertson and Thomas are still very young and improving.
