People across the nation are heading to the polls today to make their voices heard, casting their votes on who they want to be the next president of the of the United States of America.
Proud to Vote
First-time voter Brandon Marshall got up extra early today to join the fray.

“I got up actually at 5 a.m., came in, caught a few balls and ran a little bit,” he said. “Then I headed to the polls pretty early.”
Marshall said submitting his ballot was an exhilarating feeling.
“It was great,” he said. “I enjoyed it, it was exciting and I recommend to everybody who hasn’t voted to go out and do it — have a voice.”
Josh Bell: From Practice Squad to Playing Time
Just over a week ago Josh Bell was on the Broncos scout team as a member of the practice squad. On Sunday, the cornerback saw the first playing time of his NFL career against Miami. And on Thursday the rookie out of Baylor is expecting to take further strides against the Browns.

“I have some outrageous confidence in myself to begin with,” Bell said. “I had a game where I was able to get in there and contribute to us fighting a good fight. Now we are going on Thursday. Now instead of just playing to get the confidence from my teammates and my coaches I am going to go out there and try and help us win the game. I am not just a puzzle piece in helping us play well. I want to go in there and contribute, take an interception to the house, make a crucial third down stop. That that is my focus now.”
Bell said he prepares every week as though his number will be called, whether that was as a member of the practice squad or as part of the Broncos game day defense.
“I have been raised by my coaches ever since little league, high school and college that you never know what could happen,” he said. “Any given day you have to be ready.”
So what was it like for Bell to actually take the field in reality after envisioning it happening each week?
“When I got in the game I felt good,” he said. “It was actually a surprise to me that the game was so slow to me. Once I got in there I was playing football like I was in high school or college except we had the NFL logos and the CBS cameras.”
When can a friend get a five-dollar footlong?
Ryan Harris and newly anointed Browns starting quarteback Brady Quinn were college teammates at Notre Dame.

Harris said that Quinn has anxiously awaiting the opportunity to start at quarterback and that he expects Quinn to be prepared.
“I am sure he is doing everything he can to make sure that he does well,” Harris said.
Harris said the two keep in contact and have been able to meet up during the summer and offseason.
Even as close as they are Harris thinks Quinn is still holding out on him. Quinn has several endorsement deals and Harris wonders when he will pass some of those perks onto his friend.
“He is definitely got a lot of commercials,” Harris said. “I haven’t seen any Subway gift certificates. I have told him about that a couple times.”

Quotable: “That is a true statement. I will have to bring him some to the game. I will slip them to him somehow.”

IF SHANNY IS GOING TO ADD PLAYERS OUTSIDE THE DENVER BRONCOS AND NOT JOSH BARRETT TO THE TEAM HE IS LOOSING HIS BRAINS
Well, I won’t even go there on the voting issue but I do hope everyone did vote.
Alrighty then, I’m just so excited to see what our D will do to Quinn. Its going to be awesome to see our D step up - they need to step up. To make up for the injuries that keep coming our way, the youngins on the D are going to have to become a strong defense for us. Stop the run and we can be successful.
Stop the turnovers on the offense and bring back the running game and we will do some GREAT things on Thursday!!
Keep the faith…
GO BRONCOS!!!!
Put pressure on Quinn early and we have a chance. No pressure Game over!
I was told that Royal will also miss the game due to injury. Is that true?
DONT EAT THOSE SUBS!!! We dont know what he put in there, im serious.
But, Broncos, just keep working hard and keep your heads up!!!
Go BRONCOS
any1 see the raiders are goin to release hall? i almost want to slap myself for sayin it but maybe he could help a little bit?
Our defense needs as much help as possible we are week at linebacker with injuries as are we with cornerback with Champ our our secondary is even more of a liability, yes we did descent against miami’s passing attack but its Pennington and their best reciever is Ginn. The Raiders are releasing Deangelo Hall. I have watched him since he’s been in the league. Dre Bly is not what he used to be and we need depth at CB so if anyone in the front office reads this. Sign D. Hall please with him on the other side of champ and Bly covering slot in Nickel situations we will have very good secondary we need help. Sign D. Hall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Play Niko, He will help run this D
Well,
I hope that Marshall enjoys submitting his new income tax checks as much as he did voting.
Now, how about remembering how to hold on to a football.
Well , maybe it’s time to see what Moss can do at LB , maybe not on every snap but alternating DE and LB , mixing it whith Woodyard , it’s time to be creative on D , using all the talent on this roster . I’ve always thought Elvis would be a tremendous outside LB , it’s too late for this season but Why not ?And what about Tim Crowder ??? He has disapear .He was pretty solid last year , one of the bright spot so what happened ?Concerning Hall : the Raiders released him for a reason so don’t waste money !
Does anyone know how well josh bell did i the Miami game? How many times he was thrown at?
Hall maybe another Bly but we may need the help till champ gets back
Hall is another Bly I say don’t waist money on him. Paymah did outstanding against Miami and J. Williams is progressing nicely. Not that I don’t agree that we need help in the secondary. If anything try Barret he looked good in college and LORD KNOWS our safeties need HELP!
Thanks for making your voice known in the election Marshall. With the President we got now I hope your ready to pay taxes though!!!
I agree with what most are saying about Hall, he is just another Bly. In my opinion Bly was somewhat of a bust for our secondary. In Detroit he was good but he wasn’t challenged all the time, he was the Champ Bailey of the Lions. When he came over here Champ was on the other side and NO one wants to throw at #24. So most of the passes get thrown in Bly’s direction and he can’t handle it. I’m not saying he isn’t a good CB, but I don’t think that Shanny needs to invest any more time and money into the CB position just yet. J. Williams is a rookie and has a lot that I think he can do for the team in years to come. I think they should have gotten rid of Bly and kept Foxy. I think that he is better than Bly at both coverage and run support. But that is the past. I say just hold together and play the way we are capable of and we’ll come out on top.
I think D Hall could be a great help to this team, but I think the price will be to high. Dont see how we could justify spending the money for a 3rd probowl DB. Not sure he is better than Bly, just think Bly needs to be in man coverage and unfortunatly that is the poor coaching that has him in this bend not break defense.
Can’t wait to see Torain and Woodyard this Thursday.
Lets not forget that it took alot of years for us to build the ultimate team as this year shows it will take some more. What we need is someone to alow our multi talented defence to play more man to man. we are fast and we have the talent.
PS Torain will provail. He is HUGE and fast the final piece to back field
There is no way D. Hall will be a Bronco. First he got waived so any team can claim him and secondly they would have to pick up his contract that he signed with the Raiders so the price would be too steep and he isnt very good i would rather just stick to Paymah let him get some playing time. Who knows he could be like Asaunte Samuel where he was a late round pick who started flashing later in his career. I hope shanahan will sign Barret soon let him get some playing time maybe he could help. I hope Torain does better than he did agaist miami.
brandon marshal i voted with you, im happy with the outcome. Bell ive know your confidence over your college years being a nebraska fan, and i vouch for you, you can play. It was good news when you got acticated good luck. Harris your a beast, i like your intensity. Did you guys here they are saying we have no chance of winning the division ? wwwhat ? bc the chargers are “too good”. We have just as much talent on this team and more depth so lets step it up and shut em up.
and no way hall comes here, in our scheme he would do better then in oakland but still he has off the field problems and shanny has a very low tolerence for that stuff. 0% chance of it happening let it go
off the field problems? he makes problems on the field too. remember the carolina game? He cussed out his coach!! no way is he coming to denver
Hey Shanny was in Oakland, got fired, and the hired as our coach. Just trowing it out there, so go ahead, CONVERSE!
