Huge mistake to take dez over Marshall.
1. You will have to pay bryant more than crabtree. Moreno held out you can count on Bryant holding out.
2. Marshall comes at a cheaper 1st round tender price
3. Bryant has never caught a pass in the NFL, Marshall has many
4. Both recievers don't exactly stretch the field but marsh does it better
5. Bryant has bigger diva problems than Marshall. Already stood up a few gms. Marshall isn't a diva just wants to get paid more than a 3rd string qb

mcd preaches getting better at positions and this is the opposite of that.

Looks like quite a few mock drafts are now changing their predictions for our #11 pick. I reviewed at least 17 mock drafts. Dez Bryant now seems to be the front runner in 10 of those 17 reviewed. The mock draft world is feeling Marshall is on the move. I agree with you baylinor, doesn't make sense to bring in a high maintenance WR like Bryant. Dan Williams or maybe McClain seem to be the likely selection, but we're stocked at both positions now.
Not sure who X man and McD will take....... Mike Iupati ?? (Guard- 6'5" 330 lbs). Cowboys and Steelers looking at this kid as well.

Moreno only had one good college year though. He was coming out early in a weak running back class and clearly Shon greene was better. And I agree with Footballmaniac. Orapko was the best player on the board. The entire world saw that, even my kid brother knew orapko was the best on the board. Being too narrowminded in a draft can kill a team. That explains why a number 1 was wasted for Alphonso smith. He was so high on mcds board.

you guys keep forgeting that moreno was rated the #1 RB in the draft! maybe we could have waited till our second first round pick but then again he may have been gone already! i think i will wait a couple seasons before deciding if moreno is over rated! and i would also like to see the NFL put a block on players coming out of school early! i think a degree should count when negotiating a contract! better for the players that way plus gives them more time to mature before that big pay day ya know!

Then why didn't he pick Orakpo? He's better than Ayers. And Moreno probably would have been available at 16.

I wouldn't say that Drunken, I felt the same way last draft when guys like Cushings and Maualuga were still available at 12 and we picked Moreno, but Cushings and Mauluga were best in a 4-3 not in a 3-4. He picks the BEST PLAYERS available.

I would not be surprised if mcd uses his very first pick on gerhart. He picked moreno way to early and I can see him screwing it up again.

I personally prefer Demarylius Thomas or how ever u spell his name but above all...I prefer Brandon Marshall....Call me crazy but I would rather have Bmarsh than any WR in the NFL right now. Not saying he is the best, no one does what he does quite like him, the tackle breaking, the juking, the YAC...not to mention he can plaster defenders and do all the things we need a WR to do. Im just a fan, can't help it lol

Sndvl I hear ya, I feel like we just gave up a 7th round pretty solid, potentially great power RB just to waste our 2nd round pick to get one. Anyway, there a lot of, "It is what it is's" going on in the McD era...
