December 23rd, 2012 - 4:53pm by Sam Davis

In the second half of the Broncos’ Week 16 contest against Cleveland, quarterback Peyton Manning topped the 300-yard passing mark for the eighth time of the year.

He has now accomplished that feat 79 times in his career, including postseason games, which is an NFL record he already owns. His teams are 48-30 when he goes over 300.

On the game, he is 30-of-43 for 339 yards and three touchdowns – good for a passer rating of 106.6

His third touchdown pass earlier in the game tied him with Brett Favre for the most three-passing-touchdown games in NFL history with 72.
