Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is a candidate for Sports Illustrated’s year-end cover as the magazine celebrates the top sports moments of the year.
Fans can vote for their choice of the top sports moment from 2012 on Sports Illustrated’s Facebook page through Thursday, Dec. 13. The winner will be featured on the cover of the magazine’s Dec. 31st issue.
Manning’s comeback currently ranks in the top 5, and the Broncos’ overtime playoff win against Pittsburgh in last year’s AFC Wild Card round is also in the top 10.
Through 13 games this year, Manning has completed 330-of-483 passes for 3,812 yards and a franchise single-season record 30 touchdown passes.

Preseason posting was a lot of fun. I was going through some old postings from the time before we got Manning. And then after landing the Neck. Too many to repost but a lot of Broncos Country predicted a rough start and a great finish. You all have a great deal of football knowledge and Bronco foresight! So do we win out? And do we get a bye and a Home game? Anyway all the songs OC and KK did will be my favorites of the preseason. Thanks to all!

Funny story for Broncos Country:
So, I was going about my day, busy at work, but I managed to squeeze in a little sports radio. I had it on in the background, and there was a Jets fan calling in, saying how bad the Jets offense was, etc, etc, and how they should hire a new offensive coordinator (among other things). Anyway, he proceeded to go through his list of potential candidates he thought would be a good fit for the Jets, which included our own Mike McCoy. Here’s where it gets good, as he continued through his list – I kid you not – he mentioned JOSH MCDANIELS……… LMFAO!!!
McD is a pretty good OC but a terrible HC.Why the heck would he leave NE to go to NY unless it was another shot at HC though?

mcd made a lot of mistakes as hc. but anyone that suggests he doesnt have some above average coaching talent is looking at it though blinders. he made doom the leading sack master. made lloyd the leading receiver. made orton look good.
