Manning Nominated for SI’s Most Inspiring Performer

Quarterback Peyton Manning is now in the running for yet another accolade for his strong play throughout the 2012 season.

Manning is one of 15 nominees for Sports Illustrated’s Most Inspiring Performer of 2012. The candidates have been selected by SI’s editors. The award will be decided online by fans, who can vote at www.facebook.com/sportsillustrated. Fans will have until Wednesday, Nov. 28 to vote.

The winner will be featured in the Dec. 17 issue of the magazine. Fans looking to give input via Twitter can use the hashtag #SIFansChoice.

After missing the entire 2011 season with a neck injury, Manning is enjoying yet another stellar season in his 15th year in the NFL. He currently ranks second in the NFL with a passer rating of 106.2, third with 24 touchdowns and sixth with 2,975 yards passing as he has led the Broncos to a 7-3 record to start the 2012 season.

    Manning is playing at a level, that defies his past neck injury, and hopefully will get back to 100%, if not already!
