The Broncos waived wide receivers Dicky Lyons and Landis Williams on Tuesday.
Lyons, a first-year player from Kentucky, earned a roster spot in May after a minicamp tryout.
Williams signed in late April as a college free agent out of Maine.

Well these where expected cuts. I wonder when we will start signin the players.
Very expected, but it is still a bummer for these two guys. Hope the best for them. But it is very hard to compete with our recieving corps. Despite losing the Best WR in the league we still have really good talent and depth.
I am really looking forward to seeing Thomas and Decker as our #1 and #2 WR’s with Royal as the new slot machine!!!!! Now that could be sweet!!!!
Is it true that Eric Decker went to the training regiman with Larry Fitzgerald? How awesome would that be for him to be working out with a stud like Fitz.
If he did it would be nice if we could get an interview with Eric to see what all he learned. Also would love an update on his injury….
BRONCOS…TEAM OF THIS DECADE!!!
And just a week ago this site had a long article about Lyons that ended like this:
As he heads toward his first NFL training camp, Lyons knows he’s got a long road ahead to stick on the roster. But his knee injury taught him to value every second he gets on the football field, and several months in the workforce have shown him he needs to appreciate every opportunity.
If nothing else, a summer chasing his dream sure beats the real world.
“I’m just glad to be part of the organization,” Lyons said, “and I’ll work my tail off to stay here.”
Cruel world….
yeah, it has happened many times. The first time Greisen was cut, there was an article about him.
Maybe to have an article about you on this site is bad luck… like the cover of NFL Madden. lol.
More painful cuts to come.
SIGN DOOM!
I liked the article on Walton and Beadles on the front page.Whether they start or play backup, they’ll be very yaluable to us either way. Both are big strong guys that can play multiple positions, and that’s something that don’t come easy in the NFL.
Hate to see little Dicky get cut,he’s a small no fear guy, maybe he’ll latch on somewhere else with a team that needs a speedy little guy.
Is it August yet???
PAY DOOM AND CHAMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Easy come easy go… It a sad but funny way. sometimes you pray they don’t do an article on you till you sign on the dotted line.
Yes, its true trueonbfan,Decker has been working out with the fitz. I love what we have done with the team this year! I am a true believer in this kid Tebow as well. I foresee the Tebow, Decker, Bay-Bay, Royal & Moreno connection being our terror of the league for at least the next five years as soon as Orton is outta there(which I think will come by the end of this year)!
Looking forward to a Great year and hopefully a playoff berth to go with it.
Down with the Chargers, Raiders, & the Chefs! The Broncos=Best in the west.
the link to Decker with Fitz; http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81901311/article/broncos-decker-up-and-running-should-be-ready-for-camp
This article was posted over at ESPN. Didn’t know Decker was predicted to go in 1st round in this years draft before his injury.
Our NEW number #87 !

Go Broncos !!!
Looks like same article – different link.
Prediction to go in first round was by “many scouts”, for Decker.
Did you see the fun bunch video?
Same one we checked out a while back w/ link from NFL network.
you know at 6 foot 7 and 257 pounds it would probably be better to try and convert jarvis moss into a tight end i think… it would be preaty hard to gaurd him if he is ne good at catching they jus have to lob it up
