What a great career John Lynch had playing 15 yrs in the NFL. He played baseball and football at Stanford Univ. in Palo Alto Ca. Champ Bailey said Johns intensity was high caliber, and it showed with his ferocious hitting. He was drafted by the Marlins to pitch for them. The late legendary coach Bill Walsh converted John from QB to Safety at Stanford and the rest was history. John was the first player to use a microphone in the Super Bowl with the Buccanneers back in '02 when they pasted the Raiders. The Bucs gave up on him after his initial neck surgery and he found a new home with the Broncos. He set the tone for the defense as they rallied around his hard hitting style to get them going!! A Leader that lead by example. John helped pull the team thru tragedy when we lost D-Will..

Thanks John for being part of our Bronco Family. Best wishes in your future years with broadcasting or whatever endeavors you may choose, and raising your beautiful family. Long live #47!!!!!!!!!!

ELWAYFORPRES! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

You know what's funny? This man accomplished more in 15 minutes on a football field that you will your entire life!

I wasted 30 seconds of my life reading your crap a$$ statement and I'll never get that back. However, Lynch will solidify his great career and move into the Hall of Fame.

You however, will still be paying your mother rent and wondering why you had to have such ugly kids. No, I don't know if you have any, I'm just saying don't because I'm sure they'll turn out just like you if you do have any.

Didn't I see you on A&E's television show "Intervention"? Yeah, I did, you're the meth addict that lived in Oakland and cheered for San Diego....that's right. How are the teeth doing anyways?

Get a life you bottom feeder!

I'm with Cutlerizer, Lynch is a close third behind Steve Atwater and Dennis Smith. All we denizens of Bronco Country were privileged to have Lynch among us. He gave it his all on every play and I hope that he chooses to go into the HOF as a Bronco.

John Lynch continued the rich tradition of great Bronco safety play. Goose Gonsoulin began the tradition. John ended the tradition, for the moment. Bronco safety play this season has been ordinary.

Best of luck to John. No matter what he tries next, he'll be great. My guess is the broadcast booth or NFL Network

I wish he would've retired a Bronco but hey I'm happy he was here for 4 years. He was my favorite. I've got over 20 John lynch Broncos jersey's and an autographed John Lynch helmet with photo next to my 2 John Elway autographed photos. But if you decide to change your mind our defense could use you. Good luck John.

Lynch,
You are by far a HOF Safety! You brought a lot of heart and leadership to the Broncos, and although we could deffinatly use ya back this year we loved ya while you were here. oh and just in case if you decide to pull a Favre and come back from your retirement I don't think we will have any problem accepting you back! Best of luck to ya Lynch you the Man!
