Floyd Little is one step closer to being immortalized in Canton, Ohio.
On Tuesday, the list of who will present each member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2010 at the enshrinement ceremony was revealed.
Little asked his son Marc to do the honors.
“It gives me extraordinary joy to present my dad to the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” Marc said. “I’m humbled to be the representative who will speak on behalf of our family, many of whom equally deserve to be presenters. Our family will all stand together and witness the crowning achievement of a spectacular career.”
The 2010 Enshrinement Ceremony, televised nationally by ESPN and NFL Network, will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 5 p.m. MDT.

I say just give the ball to Clady and have him run it up the middle! Good luck stopping him before he gains a yard.
BFE92,
Nice vids! Proven winner..I kinda feel bad for him though…He just made himself the biggest target in the NFL, opposing defenders will all try to see who takes him down first and the hardest..imo..
still hard to pick out our true starting QB….for now lets see how Orton does in his second year, could be a surprise…
Yeah broncos20…I agree Tebow will definitely have a BIG target on his chest, but he’s a tough kid,and I think he can handle it,I seen him take on Eric Berry once and he got the best of Berry(knocked him down)”He comes with a load”Berry said.I just hope over time he don’t wear his body out, takin’ too many hits.
yeah BFE92,
thats the scary part, one might wonder what his limit is, whats more scary is he is still growing, plus he’s already got excellent football IQ, he “could” be a nightmare for opposing defenses once he gets into stride…aha@Berry story…good one! he’l be seeing plenty more of him later…
People talk about tewbow not being a pocket passer and its all bout the legs..But man i saw some videos of him getting swamped in the pocket and he delivered great passes. Thats something right there…
IDK if this is true but my dad told me today that he heard on 850 KOA that the broncos are gonna try to trade Orton by the 15th.. I doubt he heard that right but.. Does anyone know what is really going on??
If someone on KOA said Orton might be traded by the 15th, it’s simply because the next mini camp is on the 17th thru 19th. I wouldn’t read anything more into it than that, the way McD operates in total secrecy about all his trades and picks, there is no way anyone outside of the top brass in the organization would know anything about such a trade before it happens. But we can all roll the dice, with McD anything could happen, and it could happen today for all we know.
We don’t even know how they go at negociating with one of our best player, Doom, or if they are even negotiating at all. All we have to go by in this current organization is what we have on the table today, there is nothing telling me for sure what will happen tomorrow about anything, I don’t think I ever remember experiencing that level of secrecy in any of our previous organizations, I guess now we know what the Belicheck way is in that regard. Like it or not, we are been kept in the dark. Just my opinion.
About when I said how McD got himself into a QQ (Quarterback Quagmire), here is how Woody describes the situation:
It is said if you have two quarterbacks, you have none. If you have four quarterbacks, you have a coal car of trouble.
My question is how can we trade Orton? We haven’t seen what Quinn, Tebow, or Brandstater can do, which goes both ways. I know people are going to say, “well Orton didn’t deliver down the stretch” he didn’t have a running game or a defense to help him out. Look we all know Orton isn’t Elway, Manning, Brees, Montana, Young, he’s not going to be able to win a game entirely by himself. With a good running game and a defense to help him out he’s a very effective QB. I think Orton being somewhat of a veteran would help out Tebow, Quinn, and Brandstater. The biggest thing he can teach them is to be smart. We’ve had it too long with QBs that are throwing interceptions forcing the ball in to converage. Now some call it great throws, other call it stupid throws. You have to find a medium and at time last season when I thought Orton was being too careful he still gave us chances to win by not turning the ball over. With the exception of the last stretch when he was trying to win the game pretty much by himself. I just think you go into camp with 4 QBs and you start the season with 3. Even though Orton will be an UFA, if he has a “Brees” of a season, then FT him. That’s why we have the FT for instances like that. I just think that we’d be in for another rocky road of a season if we traded Orton and made Quinn the starter. Who knows maybe Tebow will prove us all wrong and be amazing his rookie year. I just think you keep Orton, Quinn, and Tebow let them learn from one another, if the season slides start one of the others. Who knows right, anyone got a DeLorean and a sports almanac? LOL!!!
Go Broncos!!!!!
This is just my opinion.
At this time it is ludicrous to suggest we would start anyone other than Orton. Orton is the starter and should be rightfully so. He had a pretty good year in a new system with an organization that did an overhaul.
Now, you have an organization that knows what to expect. From coaches to players and back up the other way, they know what the task at hand is. Last year had some memorable highs but also some lows. I will fall over if they realign the QB position again this year.
There is no doubt in my mind, Tebow IS going to be the new face of the franchise! …but not yet! We’ll see what we do this year with Orton at the helm for his second year. I agree with Brian_Schneider! I believe he’ll have even a better year! I believe Denver has a MUCH improved team all together.
It’s the best of both worlds. You have a QB entering his second year coming off a pretty solid year in a new system. However, lurking in the weeds is this kid that has all the intagibles you could ever want in a QB. Proven winner, passionate, he WANTS it, and his best attribute I believe he is a LEADER! he demands perfection of himself first then others.
Orton starts
Quinn backs up
Tebow learns
Brandstater will be released
THEN….
2011 Season
Tebow starts his brilliant NFL career as an NFL quarterback
Orton will back up
Quinn will be Quinn
Just my opinion
GO GET EM’ BOYS!
Brian, I agree whole heartidly with your assesment of our QB situation, only problem is it may sound good on paper but can it work in real football life!?!
Point I make is how is Orton going to be happy to be the launching platform for the next Bronco QB? Because unless the earth flips on it’s axis, there is no way I see him being the savior long term, all his limitations are based on things that are very hard to teach, no pocket presence, no mobility, no accuracy and velocity on the long ball, those are things you are either born with or you’ll be struggling your entire career to master. So that’s leaves him in the unenviable situation of hanging onto the job untile the next guy is ready, which knowing McD could be tomorrow, litterally. If I was Orton, I would be having issues with that demotion, which has already all but been made with the Quinn and Tebow acquisitions. How can the chemistry of the QB stay good in that respect, that is a tough question to answer, hence my reference to McD having put himself in the QQ. In order to move positively forward McD will have to make the tough choices prior to the season, who is the clear #1, #2, and release the odd man out, and let the other one take the third spot. Point being for the betterment of the team morale at the QB position, it might be better if the #3 QB is not a threat to start now, like Brandstater. If you reduce the three horse race to a two horse race I believe you start having a much more manageable situation. Therefore I now think either Quinn or Orton has to go (because Tebow is the only shoe-in guy with his 2010 first round pick status).
How it all exactly goes down (between Quinn and Orton) is not something I will get into further, because I would of personally never have found myself with three potential starting QB on my roster to start with, McD got himself into it, and how he gets out of it will define his career as a Bronco HC, it’s that simple, well, not simple at all in reality… but you get my drift. Just my opinion.
Broncfalls, just like I said above, we might have the best of both worlds on paper, but can it translate onto the field? that’s the million dollar question, I personally don’t think so. Orton might be a big man but I wouldn’t even blame him if he didn’t take the job at heart like he used to after this off season QB acquisitions. Let’s be real for a moment, the guy is not a robot, he has feelings, and goals like everyone of us, and those have been all about shattered already, just my opinion.
In the end, the problem with you guys QB order, Orton 1, Quinn 2, Tebow 3, Brandstater released makes way to much sense, so much so that’s how I saw it at first glance a few weeks ago, but looking at it now I’m starting to know too darn well that McD NEVER does things as are expected or that make sense to people like us. I expect him to shock you Broncfalls, LOL.
Re-reading my before last post, it was hilarious that I said Orton is not a robot, because in the pocket he is nothing but a robot, LMAO…
We trade Orton, then Tebow gets the nod and takes us to the SB, we totally bust up the division leaving body parts of the Chargers, Raiders, and Cheifs. Everyone that doubted the Broncos have to eat two helpings of crow…
*yawn*…..
Oh man it was just a damn dream…c’mon man.
Brian, all I’m saying is how I think things might go down, not what I think we should do, because as we all know that’s completely irrelevant…
looking at Balinorcrush’s post I predict one thing. You wrote McD Never does……….. I like what he will become. Mc D! = McDenver!!! LMAO!!!
baylinorcrush: I know, I’m just having fun. I think if 3′s a crowd then 4′s a “quagmire” LOL! I just think you gotta let Orton, Quinn, and Brandstater fight for the two QB spots on the roster. I think just because McD said Orton is the “named” starter doesn’t mean he will start. I just hope is a fair competition, not like last years.
Not sure what to think about the Westbrook workout. Are they just interested if he has anything left, or are they unsure of our RB situation? The one thing I thought we’d go after was a power back, which means being able to take some hits and punishment. Hits and punishment are the two things that injured Westbrook. Everyone is only one hit away from going on IR, but he could be one hit away from something far worse. I wouldn’t want to see that happen in any team uniform but especially a Broncos one.
McDenver TeBroncos go to the playoffs in 2010….
Please not another injury prone Eagles RB, one is enough, thank you.
Quinn and Tebow will be climbing over each other to get that starter job. How in the world Orton can compete with those two hungry young studs is questionable..
I wish I could be there to evaluate each QB and see for myself wich one excells beyond the others.
I’m pretty sure Josh will call one QB the starter before pre-season and maybe way earlier then we think. The idea is that the sooner you call a starter, the sooner you can concentrate on getting the right guy snaps and reps in practice with the rest of the #1′s and the sooner the rest of the team can bond and unite behind one man.. jomho
Either way, Tebow will see the field. Playing in the Wild Horses Formations.
Orton will play his heart out this year knowing he is a free agent next year and wants to show well for his new contract and next team. Tebow and Quinn will work damn hard to become the future starter late this year or for sure next year. Branstaters best hope will be practice squad this year. That’s what I think, but WTH do I know.
O.C. you said playoffs in 2010-think they are over let’s go 2011
Prediction Alert: Kyle Orton will be a Top 10 QB this year.
Ok so there’s been a lot of talk about the NEED to sign Dumervil. I agree that it would be a huge mistake to let one of our most productive defenders get away to another team.
On the other hand I haven’t seen much talk about Champ Bailey. Doesn’t he have 1 year left on his contract? I’m of the opinion that I want him to retire in Denver. As long as he’s playing he’ll be a valuable asset. We’ve seen some of his speed and physical ability diminish, but he more than makes up for it with his mental aptitude.
SIGN DOOM & CHAMP!!!
Orton will now be looking over his shoulder with 2 or 3 younger QB’s behind him. Question is, will this rattle his confidence or will he flourish. Reference Jake the Snake’s descent in confidence and productivity once Cutler was drafted. Plummer was never the same. No QB likes looking over his shoulder at the next guy. KO filled in admirably in his first year. Coach McD named him the starter, but will he be in there at seasons end??… we’ll see.
uummm, I’m pretty sure we are about to play the 2010 seasn…??
prediction alert…. Kyle Orton will be a top 10 backup QB this year….
Danso,
Are you saying we have no chance to go to the playoffs this year? Or do you really think that the 2010 season was last year???
I’m confused…
Danso,
Maybe he should have played his heart out last year and then he would have his new contract now….
We saw his full throttle all last year… There is no new gear for him to go into…
If we want to shift into a higher gear, we need a new vehicle…. jomho
okay…. I’m all alone in here…..
LOL-OC
this is random but i thought it was hilarious… she has no idea what she is talking about…. (tebow blasted by (drunk) chick)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZTXfguixtI
broncofan-7 says: That girl was about as blonde and FOS as they come. Good looking, though.
broncofan-7, thanks for that video, always good to hear different opinions from Colorado fans, but f you think that chick was drunk, you’ve never seen drunk my friend, that girl was quite articulate being in a bar. Wouldn’t mind being 30 years younger and single…
well what the heck i may as well throw my 2 cents in there! the more i think about it the more i think kyle will be gone at seasons start! here is my logic… we all know that orton is NEVER going to be a GREAT qb. a good one yes, but great? uh uh! he will always be a “game manager” which to me is a nice way of saying average! so if average or mediocre is the best we can hope for with orton then why not plug either quinn or tebow in now? obvously a lot remains to be seen and nothing will probably be certain untill the end of training camp but…. orton being released or traded or, at the very least, moved down on the depth chart seems like a VERY likely scenario at this point! i mean arent you supposed to try and put your best 11 on the field? my 2 cents there is all.
Go Broncos
“THE BATTLE IS WON IN THE TRENCHES”
Orton will stay and start. The reason is you can win championship with “game managers”
GO GET EM’ BOYS
