Floyd Little is one step closer to being immortalized in Canton, Ohio.
On Tuesday, the list of who will present each member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2010 at the enshrinement ceremony was revealed.
Little asked his son Marc to do the honors.
“It gives me extraordinary joy to present my dad to the Pro Football Hall of Fame,” Marc said. “I’m humbled to be the representative who will speak on behalf of our family, many of whom equally deserve to be presenters. Our family will all stand together and witness the crowning achievement of a spectacular career.”
The 2010 Enshrinement Ceremony, televised nationally by ESPN and NFL Network, will be held on Saturday, August 7 at 5 p.m. MDT.

Tebow is the most sought after endorser on the planet,he done turned down several 7 figure endorsements to concentrate on football, that alone tells you how committed he is to the game, and isn’t in it for the money, like some players are.Although he already has endorsed NCAA ’11,and Nike.
For all the Tebow doubters out there, watch this video and then tell me he won’t make it in the NFL.

I know McD is trying to change the way he throws, but I hope he don’t change the way he plays, his legs are a HUGE part of his game,I can see him as a Bigger, Stronger version of Steve Young.
And as for being a leader, which we desperately need on Offense,IMO.

Imagine that a UT fan trying to sell Tebow.LOL
All kidding aside,I think this kid is the real deal, and a lot of so called pro analyst will be eating crow, and maybe sooner than they think,I read an article that stated McD says Tebow is so smart that he may play a lot sooner than people think.Just one man’s opinion that don’t mean a Helluva lot.
BFE…
Are you saying that Tebows endorsemens are more sought after than Elway?
Uh-oh, I blaspheme, please don’t Blog Flog me…. lol
**Disclaimer**
This opinion may have contained humorous sarcasm that is not intended to anger anyone or proove that the author is ever right about anything…. lol
I think John Elway is a little smitten with Tebow too… I’ve seen two interviews with John kinda glowing about Tebow and Josh and the team…..
Man, I feel all warm and orange and tingly inside…….?
John Elway’s opinion carries the weight of a nutron star in my world…
ILMSDB!!!!!!!
I wonder if Elway gets more connected if Rod will do the same. I know he offered his advice to our WR before, seems like the only one to take any of it was Royal. I think Thomas, Decker, Royal and all our other WRs could learn a thing or ten from Rod and Stokes.
What you guys think about Brian Westbrook coming to denver for a
visit? Should we sign him even though he has a history of a bum knee, bad ankles and concussions?
I’ve always like Westbrook but I don’t know how well he fits on the team. He’s pretty similiar to Moreno and Buckhalter and there are not a lot of carries to give him. If he were a massive bulldozing 3rd and short/goaline back I think it’d be perfect. So I guess depending on the price he is asking has alot to do with it. If he is willing to take backup/3rd string money then his depth would be an asset but otherwise I’m not real sure the move would make sense.
Brian Westbrook is a really good back. He is way better then Bucky and if we could sign him I think that would help out our team a lot.
God I love our cheerleaders….
Well signing Westbrook would absolutely make me excited. We need a back who can get those few extra yards and this guy can do it right here! We also have two great backs in Moreno and Bucky so we aren’t in a desperate need of a RB. Which means if Westbrook gets hurt then we still have others to fill his place!!
Getting Westbrook would be the perfect move for this team. Just as long as we dont have to pay him crazy money!!!
Sign Westbrook and DOOM!!
Plus you have to look at the veteran experience that he will bring to Moreno! Another plus!
The fact that Westbrook is still available speaks volume as to how worried all the teams are about his health, so do I, the guy got not one but two serious concussions last year if I remember correctly. Concussions is something that the more you get them the easier they are to occur again, with marginal hits even, so I personally would have to decline on that option, no matter how great he once was, unfortunately his career is at or very near the end in my opinion, welcome to the world of football.
He used to be better than Bucky… from what I saw with the injuries and little time he played last season, I’d take Bucky over him. That’s just my opinion. A cheap contract then sure by all means let him come in and give him 3-5 plays a game with screen passes and a few carries here and there.
I don’t know if he really gets the extra yards any more than Bucky or Moreno… none of them are the power/short yardage type of backs. Who knows, definitely worth bringing him in for a visit though.
Same kind of thing that ended Steve Young’s career, and the problem is even worse nowadays since they don’t allow you on the field with even the slightest concussion.
I would respectfully disagree with you guys and pass on him.
I agree with bay on this one. Westbrook was a great player, but he is on his way out now and having a major concussion makes him too much of a risk.
The concussions are the main factor why a team hasn’t signed him yet. Just like I said earlier, we have other backs to turn to if he has another concussion or season ending injury. I think this guy brings more to the table than what is being looked at. Ive looked over everything on the NFL.com page about him and his injury and they said that the symptoms are gone and hes been working out for quite some time.
I just think, personally, with us having Dawkins and Buck as former Eagles, bringing in Westbrook would be a great decision because you know when a guy gets released like this he has something to prove and wants to prove that his former team was wrong in releasing him. He is also very versatile like McDaniels loves. He can catch passes with ease, run the ball, and punt return/kickoff return. I think since we havent been spending much money within the organization, we should take a chance with Brian! Look what our two former eagles players have done since leaving that team! Buck and Dawk had a great season even though they werent having injuries like Westbrook has.
With all the backs have now, we should definitely take a chance at this guy. Could definitely solve our 3rd and short/4th and short. We could even use him just for that if we wanted to to reduce the chance of him getting injured!
By the way, all the teams hes went to already has powerbacks which would make them stupid if they considered him. Rams, Skins…
We need a powerback because we havent gotten one yet in the offseason. At least just for the short yardage situations!
I wouldn’t consider westbrook a “power back.” Does anyone know if Gerhart is still available? JK LOL
Short yardage is where you get pounded the most, hence the greater risk of concussion recurrence. I’ll just agree to disagree on this one.
Yea, same here, I guess well see what happens. But I am happy however that McD is interested because this means hes still trying to get a RB who can get those short yards that we need.
Westbrook is listed at 203 lbs
Moreno at 210
Buckhalter at 223
Definitely not the look of a short yardage back in my opinion
There is a difference between a 3rd down back and a short yard back.
I would definitely sign Westbrook… if it was 2006.
He is old and injury-prone.
I think we are all pretty well aware that McD did not think that addressing our short yardage woes with a power back in the draft needed to be part of his agenda, to the dimay of many of us, I included. Other than that he did most everything else the way I was hoping, so I can’t complain too much. However, he better be correct in his assumption that fixing the interior of the O line would automatically fix the running game, because the way he acted in the draft, that’s exactly what he seems to be thinking. The running aspect of the game this season will be the most intriguing thing for me to see.
… to the dismay…
Hey Lino ~ The Sarcasim I used on Rod Smith was in a positive sense. The comments I worte about him highlighted how classy he really is. Eg @ The Greatest Undrafted WR
@ He should have a title Lord Smith
@ So humble the saying should be change from Huble Pie to Rod Smith Pie
@ His Awesomeness is so great it is blinding to the rest of the NFL
Rod Smith is like Awesome to the power of RAD! In fact he’s so classy its not Funny
A bit long winded but its like all the Chuck Norris sayings.
BD 44 ~ You got it right the first time, I’ll keep the certificate of endorsement lol
Awesome video studbucket! Thanks for the link. Floyd Little could stop on a dime, and shift gears, and quickly accelerate – I bet Barry Sanders was a fan….
Some great compliments from some great players including John Elway.
I remember #44 vaguely when we lived in Springs as a kid when our Dad was stationed at Petersen Air Field. (AFB). Dad would get us boys to watch the Broncos with him and pump us up by telling us about Floyd Little.
Toney Baker = Short yardage back.
Okay okay… I can’t help myself… I vote Tara Battiato as the most SIZZLING Bronco Cheerleader, huba-huba bottom row left….
Bombshell Bronco Brunette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Boooooioioioioioioioioing!!!!
I LOVE ME SOME DENVER BRONCO CHEERLEADERS!!!!!
Erica Golding gets my vote for best looking Bronco chearleader.
second row left brunette
Nice Tebone video BFE……
I noticed a lot of TD plays from around the 50 yard mark…. THATS WHAT I’M TALKI’N ABOUT!!!!! YEEAH!!
One of the biggest flaws in the Broncos offense is that we always have trouble scoring in the red zone….
I believe that that problem exists because we don’t try to score until we get into the red zone…. I think the Broncos should try to score every time they get inside the opponents 50 yard line.
The root of the idea is that we only have so many chances to score on each posession. If you start going for the endzone from further out then you get more chances to score. I’m not saying to always throw the bomb or pass, just that you use plays designed to score from further out…
One idea could be to go into “no-huddle” whenever you get to the 50 yard mark. jomho
ILMSDTB!!!!!
LOL @ OC “Boooooioioioioioioioioing!!!!”
Sam Boik ~ Schwing!
Linda Koucky ~ Schwing!
Becky Hamm ~ Schwing! Schwing!
Candice Wilson ~ MAJOR SCHWING!!!
LOL
I think that the Broncos should sign Westbrook if the price is right and if he is willing to be a 3rd stringer. Otherwise, we need to go with what we have (unless McD wants to sign a power RB, then that’s ok
) Other than that, I think that the Broncos are set, at least for this year, to have a good year. Mabye it’s a little early and unrealistic, but I say the Broncos go 11-5, win the AFC West, and make it past the first round in the playoffs with Tebow playing at QB. If that happens, this will be a successful year and that should be good to boost morale a lot. My only concern would be if the front 3 on the D-line start to wear down. We will definately need to address that in the draft next year.
Westbrooke is smaller than Moreno…..
Do we really need another scat back?? Naa..
Go for Power.. Take a 245 lb LB and turn him into a short yardage RB…. ??? Heck, we tried to give Clady a pass last year…? Anything is possible… Does anybody remember “the Frige” William Perry??
Any real big body with strong hands and strong legs should be able to push his way forward for 1 yard……?
Westbrook coming in for a visit…hmmm…I guess depth couldnt hurt. The concussion issue should be at the forefront though. I have to believe that if Westbrook (and his doctors) thinks he is healthy enough to continue playing, then absolutely sign him up, give him an Orange and Blue jersey and show that Moreno kid how a complete back trains/practices/studies- basically everything it takes to be a true professiona!!! lWait, why havent we signed DOOM yet??? No to Westbrook unless we pay DOOM first!!! lol
And guys, what is with this garbage/locker room talk about the cheerleaders? Im sure they *appreciate* the compliments!?! And someone had the nerve to tell me my attitude was not what is deserving of the DENVER BRONCOS organization—–sheesh…
Congratulations to all the hard working young ladies who earned their spots….
GO BRONCOS 2K10!!!!!!!!!!
who me ? I never said that?/?
Hey if were not gonna use Larsen as our ILB, and keep him at FB, then he can be our powerback…
(that makes too much sense, so McD will prob not go for it)
Nfl network is playing America’s game *the 98 Denver Broncos* right now!
OC, I caught up on some DP reading this afternoon, I cant believe the “Salem witch hunt” on Orton, by the beat writers. You will prob fall out of your chair by what Im about to say, but the best thing for him would be to get traded. Maybe not the best thing for us in the short term,(and dont even get me started on BQ making 6 million) but he will not get a fair shake for the remainder of his tenure- undeservingly (dont get me started on TT getting thrown in the fire either). A single line out of one of the articles stood out to me- If Cutler and Marshall can pout their way out, Orton deserves the chance for his payday as well.
Baylin mentioned McD got himself into the QB quagmire- how he handles it will speak volumes of his maturity level – just sayin
Whait a minuite…… sndvl
You and me could possibly agree on something?? We could use Larson as a “POWER RUNNING BACK”…..Woooaah??? Yeah.. too cool..
orange, warm, fuzzy, a little scary… lol
I’d agree with Larsen as a powerback if we had another fullback to lead block. I always see shortyardage situations with a goaline set instead of a single back set. Maybe not though, just the more traditional train of thought with short yardage sets. McDaniels and traditional train of thought typically don’t have a strong correlation though so anything is possible.
Forget the FB. Its a wasted position in McD’s playbook. Use Beadels, Clady, Hochstein, Big Jamaal Williams to lead the way. With Tebow and Larsen rounding out the backfield, DC’s around the country will have nightmares about our WILDHORSES
Heck even Graham and Quinn can be the lead blocker aka FB in that formation…and down the line “bay bay”
Im getting chills just thinking about it!!!!
Ah, youre right Atwater…your last sentence sums it up fairly well. And Im back down to sea level…
sndvl is right McD’s system don’t really use a Fullback,it’s more like a hybrid TE,so line up Graham and Quinn(double TE set) with Tebow and Larsen,Hell if we can’t get a yard or 2 with that formation,we may as well forget it.IMO
I think we can surprise a lot of teams with our “WildHorses” formation, look what Miami did,and they didn’t have anywhere near the talent of a Tebow at QB,when they brought in Ronnie Brown behind Center, you knew what they were gonna do,with Tebow, nobody knows if we’ll pass or run,but BEWARE of concussions, that could spell “THE END” real quick.
OC…I agree with your 5:25 post!!!!!SMOKIN’
I could agree with Quinn as the lead blocker, I mean tight ends and fullbacks are similiar in size and speed so it could be an easy swap. I’m sure McDaniels is going to want to continue to give Moreno the chance with Larsen as the up back (if they even use an up back like previously mentioned).
Very true with the Wildhorses, Moreno was never going to throw a pass last year and with Tebow it is a legit double threat. Definitely excited to see how McDaniels plans to use that wrinkle in the playbook.
Coach favors spread formations and power OL. The resulting outcome with the right players is score from a distance and if need be in the redzone or on third down, score/convert with power. I like the formula, and with an explosive improvisational QB, the sky is the limit for the offense…..
A spread O should leave less DB’s in the box and make it easier for the Runner to get into the secondary, ultimately TE’s like daniel Graham are the most important blockers…But only, ONLY if the QB is a real threat to go deep does this formula work. If not, the opposing defenses put a gang in the box to stop the run… and NO DICE or PICK-6 if your passer is a dud… jomho
