The Broncos fell to the Detroit Lions 45-10 today at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 267 yards and three scores as the Detroit offense recorded 45 unanswered points.
Eric Decker scored the lone touchdown for the Broncos on a 14-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
The Broncos are now 2-5 on the year and travel to Oakland next week to face the Raiders.

Moreno bad, offensive line bad, defence bad, tebow bad! I only deal in facts.
Career w-l as bronco’s starting qb:
Tebow: 2-4 (.333)
Orton: 12-21 (.364)
That stat perhaps more than anything proves that QB is not the problem for the broncos. Given how different Tebow and Orton are in just about every aspect of there game, they have almost an identical win percentage.
To be fair, Tebow has 27 more games to go before he gets as many starts as Orton has. And Orton had that miraculous 6-0 start to pad the stats.
I suspect after 33 starts Tebow will have better than a 33% win percentage, but the broncos have to improve their entire roster regardless of who starts at QB (unless we are talking about a QB of Peyton Manning’s caliber).
What we need is a new coach. There’s no way around it. We have no game plan. We have no play calling. We have no discipline. Bowlen hired the only guy in the NFL with a worse record than ours. People don’t want to believe it but Fox is a mediocre coach, on a great day, with roughly a 50/50 win/loss record over his entire career. He destroyed Carolina and now he’s doing the same to Denver. He’s a bum and needs to go back to the back woods. I think he has too much white liquor on the brain. The whole team sucks but it’s the head coaches job to adapt, develop the team, and utilize the talent he has. He needs to fire this team up but nobody can really expect him to do that. Even watching him talk in an interview is like watching paint dry.
I am a Denver fan and a Tebow fan and I am not giving up on either one. I have heard too many people say that Tim will have growing pains along with the rest of the team. We were just out matched and it showed. I just hope Tim will be allowed tio finish out the season so that he will get a chance to improve. I was surprised that the NFL analysts were not beating him up too bad. They said the obvious the loss was a TEAM effort. Tim needs to improve but so does the offensive line and defense too. They allowed 7 sacks and 45 points.
McD and Lloyd won today. Fox=LOSING!
Really Gator…how about the poor play of your boy Tebow…
I didn’t say Tebow played great but he played better than last week. He still has no receivers that can catch and piss poor play calling. Everybody dropping balls, penalties galore, no blocking, no discipline at all. Right now, I’d take TWO Ortons over one John Fox. Fox is the worst thing to ever happen to Denver. In 22 years of coaching, his W/L record is .506 with ZERO Superbowl rings.
What we need is a QB who can hit a 8 yard slant to our reciever and not their corner
TO MANY BLOGS …… GO BACK TO THE OLD WAY.
IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET INFO FROM HERE DURING THE GAME ….FORGET IT.
I have heard it all. the things that were not said in Ortons defence are now in Tebows defence. I seen things like we need to throw more screens when tebow was in and when orton was in ‘we throw to many screens’ When tebow is in the o-line is bad, when KO is in he took to many sacks b/c he held the ball to long. “it is not TT fault the D is terrible’ it is the same defence people.
Tebow has to run the plays called or he will get jerked like KO did.
We as fans should and will soon relieze it is not Orton or Tebow. and soon to be BQ. IT IS THE BRONCOS. we are a bad team. I would love to be .500 again. But it aint gona happen. If you think McD tore the team apart look around folks! what have we lost in 3 months? (besides respect) you name your on players that you think we should have kept. mine is very long. it dates back to the great SHANNY.
lets start with the HC, he won 2 games last year, 2 this year, he was ‘brought in to fix the D’ but little did we know he had to ruin the O to do it. even under KO the O could get points, weather you want to admit it or not. the D gave up to many points. and some are just NOW figuring that out. I am talking about the last 3 to 4 years in an overall picture. this is not out of being mad over the games we lost, just the truth. You can say it is his (anybody) fault or give evcusses all over the place the shi* stops with the head coach. just like it did with McD and Shanny.
the OC and his play calling. His play calling makes Halloween look like a sundayschool. But it has been the same, only the results are different or only now are you seeing it diferent.
AND NOT ONE comment about the DC have I read, WHY? he needs to be chastized (sp) also. he has been here long enough to get his shi* together.
We say new sceam and all that cra* but these are pros they get paid big bucks to learn. and now with the new work schedule they have got plenty of time to study the play book. Tebow has no reason not to know the play book so why should the OC have to cut it down???
I personally have set a point to go by it is 22 if the D alows more and we lose than it is on them. if the O can not score more than 22 then it is on them. and that is the way I IMHO judge who lost the game.
I’ll end this with a Belicheck saying that fits this team. “JUST DO YOUR JOB.”
I no longer have any respect for John Gruden. In fact he is an a…..e. He is is a jumper on the cheap bandwagon.
In my opinon, the “gangbangers” who jump all over Tebow who hasn’t even had a full chance to compete, should look at the childish, tantrum throwing, immature Phillip Rivers. He is incredibly immature and the so called “analysts” spin it as “passion for the game, etc.” Rivers could never have survived the tough situation that Tebow had dumped on him.
How could anyone miss the stupid antics of that loser Rivers? If he had an ounce of Tebow Dignity he wold have won the playoffs with his competent supporting cast and priviliged opportunity years ago.
Tebow may be a rookie and a man with no winning record (yet) but by Golly, he has dignity, pride, and poise in the worst of conditions. Give me Tebow over Rivers any day anytime anywhere.
Wishing the Broncos the best of luck against the Raiders in Oakland. If I am reading the stats correctly, the Raiders currently rank second in the League in Rushing. They also have twice as many sacks as their opponents. They use all their backs as receivers. Defensively they will look to stop the run, and pressure the Quarterback. Offensively, they want to run the football, to open up big pass plays. They will be interested in winning the turnover battle, and will be looking for the big play on special teams. And while I expect the Raider offense to reflect the offensive philosophy of their coach, Hue Jackson, the assistant coach to the Raider Cornerbacks is a gentleman named Rod Woodson.
