After the defense forced a Detroit punt, the Lions defense made its presence felt.

Defensive end Cliff Avril got his second strip-sack of the game, this time recovering the fumble and returning it 24 yard into the end zone.

The Lions now lead it 31-3 with 13:26 remaining in the third quarter.
