Re-correction:

Tim Tebow making Broncos center of NFL universe By Patrick Saunders

Tebowmania goes well beyond that lady posing next to the billboard on I-25. It’s not confined to Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The cheering can be heard, not just in LoDo, but in Midtown Manhattan.

Google Tim Tebow and you find a smorgasbord of raves, rants, opinions and profiles.

Here are a few to chew on while you wait for the Broncos game at Miami on Oct. 23:

Sports Illustrated’s Don Banks talked a lot of NFL folks. Banks ponders: Will Tebow succeed in the NFL? His conclusion: It all depends on who you ask.

The New York Daily News’ Hank Gola tells the story of a bar in Clifton. N.J. where Tebowmania erupted when the QB nearly led the Broncos to a last-second victory vs. the Chargers.

“I’ve been tending bar forever and in my 30-plus years of tending bar, I’d never seen anything like it for a non-local team in the regular season,” said Tommy Bouchoux, the pub’s co-owner told the Daily News. “Everyone was down and then they got up again. People were going crazy. People in Jets jerseys, Giants jerseys and women who weren’t even hard-core football fans. Everyone was a Broncos fan. That part of the game wasn’t on long but Tim Tebow helped our business that night.”

Even The Wall Street Journal chimes in with a blog titled: “The Most Loved, Hated Q.B. Gets His Shot.”

Kind of crazy how the 1-4 Broncos have become the center of the football universe.

That story was from Saunders, not Klis, but I do remember the N-J thing he talked about.

And as far as a Lloyd trade, I don't think it's that far fetched as some others here do since we all know how close he is to Orton from their days in Chicago and maybe it has become apparent in the locker room that he won't be happy without getting the numbers he used to. I can see it happening, and he was voicing his displeasure at the game plan if you recall saying they weren't getting him involved enough with all the running plays, maybe Fox didn't like that at all.

Field position is key in a game of inches. With a powerful leg like Britton’s, it can make a great deal of how a game can pan out. Keep up the good work!
