Kern and Pittman: Super Ads

December 4th, 2008 - 10:52am by Gray Caldwell

The NFL has another ad promotion going for the Super Bowl, and this time it’s pitting teams against each other.

NFL Films came to Broncos training camp earlier this season to interview five different Broncos for the ad campaign — Anthony Alridge, Josh Barrett, Brett Kern, Michael Pittman and D.J. Williams. Each player told their own interesting story, and now Kern’s and Pittman’s stories are up for voting for the Broncos against the rest of the AFC.

Fans can vote on the 24 stories from the AFC here from December 4-17. One story from each division make it to the Championship Round where they compete against four NFC videos and one wild card.

The Championship Round runs from December 18 through January 4 — the day before the Super Bowl. Fans will have eighteen days to vote for their favorites with a Super Bowl appearance on the line.

So go ahead and get to voting for your Broncos stories. A quick snippet from Kern’s and Pittman’s stories after the jump.

“I went up to my wife now and I said, ‘Hey honey, there’s this guy who wants to interview us out on the 50-yard line.’ She looked at me kind of funny and I started to get butterflies.”
– Brett Kern

“I got up on the bench and waved my hat to the fans. ‘Tampa Bay: The Champions.’ I waved that newspaper to the fans. It was the best moment in my career.”
– Michael Pittman
