“What are you up to?”
That was the first question asked of Peyton Manning as Monday’s press sessions kicked off. And right from the start it was clear everyone’s in a good mood with the Broncos’ offseason conditioning program now underway.
“228, 229, somewhere in there,” Manning replied with a smile. “You?”
OK, maybe you had to be there, but it brought a laugh to the whole room. And that was just the start of the jokes from players as they made their way to the press room.
Next up was Eric Decker, who didn’t want to give away the location of the high school he, Manning and other receivers used where “people couldn’t find us.”
“We’d take a couple of car loads over to the local –” Decker said, pausing, “maybe distant — field, and get some work in.”
So it was either close or far away. Nice save.
Champ Bailey brought the most laughs as his press conference started out with a question about why he’s no longer sporting a beard.
“Look, everybody in the room is young now,” he laughed. “I have to fit in.”

Next, he was asked about his interactions with Manning so far, but due to the different schedules of offensive and defensive players, he had yet to officially meet the new Bronco.
“I saw him in the weight room, but he was on TV,” he smiled, referencing video of Manning from earlier in the morning.
Finally, Von Miller closed out the day with another one-liner about meeting Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio for the first time.
“He was nicer than I thought,” he laughed.
It might not seem like much, but it was clear on Monday that the team is excited to be back to work.

I care but Im just saying I would be happy with whomever if we got the players I mentioned in rounds 1-4

FTR i especially like pick 4 LMAO I think hes a beast!!! lol
AB, thanks for the Cousins video. I like his personality, especially that he brought a specific situation to Gruden to work on. I’m still Osweiler or Moore though haha. What was your opinion
SW I havnt watched it yet. Letting it load while i catch up on MMA stuff.
AB: I like # 2 myself LMOL!!
Fair enough, any good fights of late?
SW I dont know. I forgot ultimate fighter started so ive been catching up on that. Ive been missing MMA a lot for the last year so i have a lot to catch up on.
I am Stoked with the TE postion! And WR postions we have! I agree with all we need beef on the DL but a great ILB would go good!
Go Broncos!!
FTR
SW:
I had to fend off my Macaw for my oatmeal this morning! LOL But I won that fight with a water gun!

My opinion on backup quarterbacks is this…
We have several holes to fill in our defense and a couple for our offense. We cannot afford to select a QB in the 2nd round who may or may not play for us in 3-5 years. Depending on how well we do this year, we can completely upgrade our defense and go that route next year. I think getting Kellen Moore in the 5th-6th round would be really good. He is a pure winner and could easily learn a lot from Manning.
Also like I said before I do not like taking players when they do not have that much experience. Brock has hardly played any games at all and he isn’t even above .500.
No quarterbacks within the first 4 rounds! I am sure we will get Brock in the 2nd but it would be bad if we did in my opinion. This draft is soo gifted with defensive players. Lets use our picks to capitalize on that!
FTR LMAO!!! That sounds like me and tuna with my cats lol
I agree that we need beef on the Dline and a ILB that can do it all will be great!
Impressive FTR, sounds like a fight to the death! A match-up for the ages!
I sure hope that Rahim Moore steps up drastically this off-season!!! We cannot afford for him to be a bust!! He needs to shadow Dawk every second of every day!!
To bad Dawk isnt on roster yet! I still want Dawk resigned for 1 more year! He has a lot to teach Moore and Carter
I like what Champ said about Dawkins: “i want him to be a part of this”…I get the feeling Champ sees a light ahead for the two of them
Have to put a cross arm bar on that bird sometimes. But most the time when he is angry a It takes a pice of left over Pizza crust to due him in to a tap out! LOL
FTR
FTR LMAO!!!
FTR ROFL!
Well It’s this old man time to say Peace out. Loved reading as much as I could! Just remember Broncos Country good times are comming!
Peace out!
LMSDB!!!

For those who are wanting Thomas returned there IS a one year deal on the table for Thomas however he wants a long term deal.
Just won again we are 3 and 1 and I’m slowly getting in better shape! I think I complete the trio yes?
Josina Anderson@JosinaAnderson
A source with knowledge of the situation says the Denver Broncos have tried to negotiate a one-year deal for veteran DT Marcus Thomas (cont)
16 Apr 12
However, the source adds Marcus Thomas is focused on receiving a long-term deal. That is the sticking point right now.
3 years for his candy ass… Hightower in the first!
Give Thomas a 2 year deal bring him back.
But 3 roles off the tongue so much better and you can argue 3 is longterm where2 is short term
True LAX lol but Thomas hasnt done enough to get a long term deal. A 2 year deal gives him enough time to turn it up and dominate.
rolls I know I know grammar Lax grammar
nah, LAX, you were just thinking of Foles at the time you were typing haha
That man is always on my mind… you know his hair flows really nicely!
Haha, you should see me up on stage, get the headbanging thing going…drives people crazy
SW I bet my hair is amazing when i headbang…..Crew cuts are good for that right? LOL
Haha doesn’t matter man, it’s the show and the feelings in the crowd! Crew cut, bald, Viking blond hair? don’t matter
Im not really into headbanging lol. Gives me a headache. lol.
Gotta do it properly…and stretch out your neck…I usually only do it when I get caught up in a solo or a riff…most of the time I’m in front of a mic, and it hurts hitting your head on one of those haha
LOL I bet mics are hard. I can understand why it hurts lol
SM-58s man! Make great hammers in a pinch lol
Stokely signed guys!
SW you asked me what i thought of Cousins. I dont like him. To me every bad thing Gruden brought up he found a way to sidestep it or put blame elsewhere. That doesnt sit well with me. Hes the QB and the leader he needs to step up and admit whta he did wrong.
That’s fair AB, I guess that’s why I still like Brock and Kellen more
I still prefer Moore and Brock. Wilson is another guy who impressed me but he doesnt fit well with Denver.
I agree with Wilson. I really hope we get Brock, as much as I love Moore, I find Brock to be very excitable
Either one would be great. I like Brock cause hes going to have time to sit and learn. Even if Manning goes down, I dont think Brock will start. I think Haine will be the 2nd string and Brock the 3rd. Weber will be on the practice squad.
Wow according to sources Seattle is interested in a QB in case Flynn doesnt pan out. Tannehill Weeden Coleman and Brock are some of the QBs they are interested in according to the source.
Just saw that on the local news which covers the Seachickens hardcore as they are the closest NFL team.
Oh boy…yet ANOTHER team to steal our QB lol
Seachickens were so desperate to get Manning they flew to Denver to try and meet up with him LOL
I know! I don’t want them to steal Brock if we really want him!
Unless they trade up I dont see it.
