The Jets have taken the lead, thanks to a fortunate bounce.
On second-and-goal from the 1-yard line, Bilal Powell took the carry but linebacker Von Miller came up and forced a fumble. However, the ball bounced straight to Jets offensive lineman Matt Slauson, who recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. The Jets now lead 10-3 with 11:06 remaining in the third quarter.
The score capped an 8-play, 80-yard drive for the Jets to open the second half. Receiver Plaxico Burress factored heavily into that drive, catching three passes for 52 yards.
