DenverBroncos.com is excited to announce that starting Tuesday, Sept. 20, we will air a live audio broadcast with Vice President of Football Operations John Elway.
Hosted by Broncos TV’s Chris Hall, the 30-minute show will start at 2 p.m. MT every Tuesday throughout the season and will focus on recapping the previous week’s game while also setting the stage for the Broncos’ upcoming matchup.
There also will be an extended segment dedicated to Elway answering questions from fans in real time. All you have to do is submit your question through the team’s Twiiter account – @Denver_Broncos – and be sure to include the hashtag #elwaylive.
The broadcast will then be archived to DenverBroncos.com, and will also be available through iTunes.

Elway Live? They should just call it “Damage Control” LOL
lmao @ sounds more like damage control lol
but ill take it … how many teams hear from the Vice President of Football operations … let alone on a weekly basis.
TRB
I was and am a BIG FAN of John Elway! I don’t believe things are going the way he wants them to go either. But let’s give him some time to do his job and back him as much as possible. I’m sure if he could suit up like the SUPERMAN he was and play for us again he would, and we would not have issues at QB any longer!
GO BRONCOS!!!
I LOVE ME SOME JOHN ELWAY!!!
ALWAYS HAVE, ALWYAS WILL!!!!
Hopefully this will lift the vail, eliminate the smokescreen and restore the transpareny…..
Thank you JE……
ILMSDB!!!!!
I believe in Elway the player. But Elway the VP has not shown me anything and this Kyle Orton mess is crazy. Lets all support a journeyman QB in the final year of a contract, when we need to evaluate our unproven qb’s before next years draft. NICE… Hey SANTA are you out there???
I wonder how many of those questions will be “Can we bench Orton yet?”
This just in……..update to the injury report:
Kyle Orton:
ego: severely bruised
credibility with fans: severely strained
inaccuracy: listed as probable
lol @ killerkod
Even with EFX, it`s going to take some time guys and gals. Rome wasn`t built in a day.
Folks, we talk about the transparancy being gone and I give hyou “ELWAY LIVE” starting teh 20th weekly. Man, what a RUSH!!! Now if just osme of the other stuff we have been talking about gets attention paid to it we will all be in great shape.
If Fox needs a couple years to turn this around with 14 years experience at the job, what does it say for Elway’s experience at the job to turn it around? It will be a loooooong process and I believe John is sarting to understand that even more so that when he took over. Good luck John, there will be many more hurdles than selling automobiles, too bad you can’t take over Orton, but you can do the second best thing, start Tebow real soon so you can find out if you need to address the QB position in next year’s draft. As is you are driving blind in the matter.
I have already given Elway a minimum Ten year pass on trying to get this team back to being perennial contenders and SB champions….
Even if JE whiffs on a HC or QB or General Manager, I will give him a chance for many, many years to get it right.
Look how many years it took him to lead us to a SB victory and we just had to have patience and hang in there with him….What a great ride it was!
I will always believe in Elway, I might not always agree with him but I will always respect him and be thankful for his dedication to our team.
At the moment I think he is whiffing on OC and QB but we’ll se how that all shakes out….
ILMSDB!!!!!
TBH, if Orton starts stringing together the victories, I will be on his bandwagon quicker than dysentery. But can anyone really imagine Orton suddenly being able to do that.
Short of some major changes, if we string any wins together it will be on the back of our defense. And that will only be if our D starts getting lots of turnovers and several defensive TDs.
I think elway is a good VP … and I say that because while he is the boss man … Im sure when he hired a vet like Fox … he said he will not force anything down his throat no matter what. He will let Fox runs the team how he see’s fit. And he is holding true and will hold true to what he said. Decisions gotta come from fox, and after his man crush on Delhomme … Ortons here to stay until we are out of playoff contention ladies and gentlemen. TRB
Playoff what? LMAO!
We are only going to win 2 or three games and that is it with Orton starting!
Playoffs? Don’t talk about playoffs. Are you kidding me? Playoffs?
Orton is just playing possum until we get to the meat of the schedule against GB, SD, NE, etc. He’s playing evil genius mind games!
DID YOU SAY PLAYOFFS?! Yeah Right!!
I am not even thinking of Elway at this point. Problem? Nope, he is not going to crap all over the FX of the EFX right out of the gate, and it would be disastrous to do so IMO. I don’t think he should determine who our starting QB should be either. Leave that to the HC. However, the HC or any coordinator that fails their job MCCOY, then you go to the HC and talk about possibly making a change.
Speaking of the raiders, they are what we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!!!
I said “until we are out of playoff contention” … meaning officially out by record … like last year when they fired mcdaniels after the loss that officially put us out.
Analysts always talk about how hard it truly is to call the plays in the NFL, and seeing as how McCoy is only 5 games in, his play calling will stay suspect for awhile, but over all. His schemes are not working, etc. That is the first personell change we need. New OC.
These are the kinds of things I hope Elway addresses.
Of course, I am a systems guy. Solid system, even mediocre players seem to play well.
Basically Fox is failing as we speak. A mediocre QB playing in a mediocre fashion in his contract year.
If I put myself in Xanders shoes, there is no way I pay this guy 9 million next year. We couldn’t even trade him when teams were desperate. Tarvaris Jackson garnered more interest.
So I am thinking that next year we offer him close to the league min. No one else is willing to beat that, Orton is butt hurt about it, and KO chooses to retire.
Just a guess. In the meantime, Fox is sticking with a Mediocre QB who has already hit the ceiling and is unlikely to be back next year (god I hope he is not back next year) instead of seeing what Weber, Quinn, or Tebow can do.
At least we all can agree on one thing (heh heh OC),
ELWAY Rules!!!!!
Elway rules!!
Terrell Davis is still relatively young……….maybe he can stage a comeback and show KnowShow how it’s done………..
Jeeze, worst case scenario: We lost enough games to draft luck. Then next year we got 4 Qbs on the roster, any of whom could possibly be the answer. How do you sort that out? Give em each a month to start? Just throw the other QBs by the wayside and give Luck the reigns from the start? What if that guy struggles.
Beating a dead horse here, but the only smart thing to do is to Bench Orton and see what Tebow or Weber can do. Maybe Quinn, but he hasn’t shown much since he has been in the NFL.
This should be good. Can’t wait to hear the questions asked of Magnificent 7.
The bulk will be about QB with a smattering of intelligent questions about everything else.
Just a nugget to munch on, the OC we have now would be the one that got to call plays last year when Josh “insert clever nickname and there were plenty” McDaniels got fired. He was also the OC who managed to make 3 games turn out well, even though we lost two of them. 1 due to not opening up the playbook(Raiders). And who was the OCs QB in those games?
Leadership counts on/off the field, with the team and the fans.
Hear that Mr. Orton
So same OC, similar plays and Orton can’t manage them and nor can the O Line? Is it the OC? the Oline? or the man who leads on the field and off?
This may have been talked about but I am too tired to read all the way back. ESPN.com has a story about Bronco fans raising money to put up anti-Orton Bilboards in Denver…kind of interesting…what a way to spend money!
S.D. Bronco30:
Yeah we talked about that a little. Pretty funny that those fans are willing to put that much money behind their desire to see Orton benched in these tough economic times.
I don`t have a problem with our OC yet. He`s going by what Fox has said, run the rock. They`ll get it figured out by playing to our strenghts. They should have thrown the ball early on monday night. The raiders knew we were going to run so lets just put 8 men in the box. We didn`t counter-act, tisk tisk. We got to learn from our mistakes. If Fox and McCoy don`t play to our strengths as of right now, for shame for shame.
bay just dont sell the Orange Crush to donate!!
Wont work … besides the only way anyone should do such a thing is if 1000 fans chip in 10 bucks or 2000 fans chip in 5 bucks each or 10,000 chip in 1 dollar in each. Anything other than that is unnecesary money spent … but if they have a big enough network … know themselves out. TRB
agreed alexanserg….I would like to see Tebow ….but money is to tight these days!
Hey are any of the guys on here the ones going to put up the pro Tebow billboards. I’d donate to that LOL!
Raiders Injury Report. DNP- WR jacoby ford (hamstring) S michael huff (groin) S Mike Mitchell (knee) WR Louis Murphy (groin) DE Richard Seymour (ribs) LIMITED – TE Kevin Boss (knee) CB Chris Johnson (groin) RB Daren McFadden (shoulder) LB Jarvis Moss (foot) with the exception of Kevin Boss all these guys got beat up by our Broncos guys, lets give everyone a break here just alittle. Everyone on this site knows were not going to the playoffs, we all know we want a change at QB and its coming but lets support the staff at this point. Even I dont like the play calling, and if anything changes Mcoy has to go, hes not a very creative OC. But as far EXF let it go for crying out loud, its been 1gm and we lost bye 3 regardless of the penalties. Lets stand behind our coaches and see how and what they do to improve the team this year not after one game. GO BRONCOS
Sorry 1nOnlyTRB already covered..dang late to the dance again…
millertime2 makes a lo of sense
We were just talking about that Brian, I think it is funny but seems like a waste…EFX won’t be moved by it…strong statement by fans but I don’t think enough to make an organization change its mind. They will most likely think, why did you spend your money on that? Not a put down on EFX I like them just saying.
On another note, if memory serves me right arent you from the brookings area? Getting ready for Duck opener the 24th?
Oh well, everybody missed, it, you said playoff contention, so I said playoff what? I thought that was funny but the other guys got derailed and went on the old tirade….
I said Yeah Right!
Nobody touches the Orange Crush, I’m her captain.
Bay: nah nah, I and probably several others got the Jim Mora reference.
The playoffs are overrated! Who really wants to be that good to make it that far?
You are still missing it, there was no Mora reference in that at all, a reference to the contention part, way too single minded guys and nah nah, to a 57 year old you outta be kidding me. Back the truck up sonny, just saying.
Bay, can you do a double flip like on the Captain Morgan commercial off of your Orange Crush. LOL
I would love for the Broncos to be that good again like I know they can.
I keep telling myself patience, like we all do and have voiced in here. But damned if I’m having a hard time listening to myself or anyone else about patience.
Though a win would shut me up for a while. This losing stuff is brutal.
And for those who don’t have a problem with OC yet, I do, he is way too funny!
