DenverBroncos.com is excited to announce that starting Tuesday, Sept. 20, we will air a live audio broadcast with Vice President of Football Operations John Elway.
Hosted by Broncos TV’s Chris Hall, the 30-minute show will start at 2 p.m. MT every Tuesday throughout the season and will focus on recapping the previous week’s game while also setting the stage for the Broncos’ upcoming matchup.
There also will be an extended segment dedicated to Elway answering questions from fans in real time. All you have to do is submit your question through the team’s Twiiter account – @Denver_Broncos – and be sure to include the hashtag #elwaylive.
The broadcast will then be archived to DenverBroncos.com, and will also be available through iTunes.

You can blame Fox on the OC, Fox wants to run vanilla.
Bay, I’m not sure you were speaking english right there, but I thought you were referencing this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3-eavMSBnk
So I guess I did miss it.
If OC McCoy had his hands in the pie he`d open it up.
good deal bay, hate to see you let her go just to spite (sp) Orton!! haha!
also my apologies for bringing up old topics…just went back and read some more older posts, some how missed about a full page…saw that you guys even discussed people who do that…which I found funny since I had just done it…I can laugh at myself!
Just like last year when Tebow started his first game against the raiders, they played vanilla on offense, but then against the Texans all of a sudden, BAM, the books were open and WALLAH, a Broncos win. McCoy has the books so use the darn thing.
Talking about the Orange Crush, gotta go do a little work on here, with a 6 pack and I’ll end up floating at the dock watching the sunset, will take her out tomorrow, you guys behave, haha.
I would like to make a suggestion. Since Elway is going to be taking questions from the fans on this show, would it be smart for all of us to air our questions here and have one person appointed to go on this twitter or whatever the instructions above are to send these questions in? This way, everybody is not asking the same question over and over again.
Don’t worry, I’ll go back and get all the predictions as usual, keep them coming, 17 Denver wins and 4 they don’t so far.
Peter Kings pick for Bengals/Broncos:
Broncos – 19
Bengals – 15
“John Fox says he doesn’t hear the cries for Tim Tebow. Okay. But one more bad performance from Kyle Orton and they won’t be drowned out by anything. This fan base in a tinderbox right now. Orton’s got to play well to make sure the fuse doesn’t get lit”.
More like doesn’t “stay lit” King!! LOL!
17 to 14 broncos. Bay
I have decided to pretend that Monday was a preseason game and that this year we are only playing a 15 game season. Since “one game doesn’t make a season,” I’ve decided it just doesn’t count. So, for our regular season home opener against Cincy, I think we’re going to pull out all the stops. Orton is going to have a career day with only one turnover and like 800 yards with no TDs (gotta be realistic here). Decker is going to be the go-to guy and perform WAY above anyone’s expectations. Miller will have at least 2 sacks on Mr. Bruce, and Moore will have a pick or two. Dawkins will terrorize pretty much anyone who touches the ball, and our victory will be clinched by winning the turnover differential and scoring defensive and special teams TDs.
My score prediction:
Broncos: 27
Bengals: 17
Just to clarify, the only sarcasm there was about Orton. I really do think the world of Miller, Dawkins, Moore and Decker.
Yep, but you forgot the fumble(s).
sorry Tebow fans, but if you think he will be successful with McCoy, go for it. I won’t hold my breath.
Making last game a preseason game. I am jealous, I wish I could. I do, it would make my life a whole heeping lot easier. hahaha
that kind of sounded like I am not a Tebow fan myself…. I want him to have the system in place for him to kick some arses. Not be forced into playing out of his Tebowness awesome play style.
The TEBOW cries are for YOU coach. Broncos does not have an offensive line that can protect an unmovable pocket quarterback such as Orton. Tebow has the strength and mobility to make action games out of these circumstances. You should listen to Joe Montana for what he speaks about Tebow.
as far as McCoy coaching regardless, our run game is very suspect. Start running successfully and I will back off. He did call some decent plays last week.
Shanahan was genius in the running game, after TD, we were still pooping 1k backs out onto the league. That is a fine example of how the “system” should be.
Not taking away from TD whatsoever, he still did it the best. I love backs like TD, north south running, one cut, explosion. Don’t get too many like him.
I did like the Woodhead RB from NE, he ran similar. That is the kind of back I want to see in Denver again. McGahee might be able to, Moreno, his light is almost extinguished. I still believe he can be great, but damn he needs to do something special and fast. Again, MCCoy’s running scheme = as suspect as trusting a known thief to hold your wallet full of money.
I am seriously thinking that our injuries suffered Monday night are going to haunt us this week. I just don’t believe the replacements in those key spots are going to make the difference. Basically, since I was wrong last week, my prayer this week is that I am wrong and will gladly take the hiy and placement on the wall of shame. PLEASE BRONCOS MAKE MY PREDICTION WRONG!!!!!
DENVER 10
CINCI 17

sometimes I feel us the fans know more about what should be done. P.hillis a lost… B. marshall a lost… T.scheffler a lost… I still feel culter could help. That’s all in the past but I hate losing. But after week one nothing looks different it feels more like a lucky three point lost. Lol! We should just run the ball in practice until we get it right. We are a one dimension team. Maybe the goal is to get the first round pick and orton is the safe way of getting it done… Lmao! I don’t support tebow yet until he gets his chance. I love this game with a passion n that’s what tebow has in his eyes and he has fun out there too. I saw on youtube the td run for the win vs houston n the crowd was in the game screaming like always was playing for us. I got goose bumbs all over my body n it felt good. Someone that is willing to do what ever it takes to win will always be a part of my team. I’m hoping for a good win this sunday to say it was just the first week jitters. Prove me wrong denver, prove me wrong… Denver bronco forever!!!
That’s what I have been saying! I’ve been screaming it in fact! Although I am the only one here, me and my TV. We (that is to say Denver), we got manhandled not only on the offensive side, but the defensive line too! I truly expected to be a lil’ weak on the O Line, but I expected so much more from the D line! Absolutely bullied on both lines of scrimmage! But still, Orton was not good at all, & if he is the best we have at QB, we have problems! Noone that knows anything about football can tell me Tebow wouldn’t have been just as productive as KO the other night! That was as sloppy as it can get guys! But look for a 27 – 17 win for Denver against Cincy.
A few things to keep in mind going into this weeks game against Cincy. Weak team? Instant win for us? Well lets look at the numbers from last year.
Offense:
Total yds/ game Cincy: 294 Denver:310
Pass yds/game Cincy: 155 Denver: 272
Run yds/game Cincy: 139 Denver: 38
Points/game Cincy: 27 Denver:20
3rd down con Cincy: 41.3 Denver 46.2
TOP Cincy: 18:23 Denver 16:45
Defense:
Total yds/game: Cincy: 285 Den: 289
Pass yds/game Cincy: 202 Den: 99
Run yds/game Cincy:83 Den: 190
Points/game Cincy: 17 Den: 23
3rd dwon con Cincy: 26.7 Den: 35.7
Taking into account this was last year, we sure played like we did a lot last year on Mon. Oakland isn’t the only “bad” team we are playing this year that match us for our strengths and beat us were we are weak. It will be another hard game, I hope Den is ready.
Averaging these stats this is what Den on paper is supposed to do.
Denver: 237 yds passing ; 60 yds rushing ; 36.45 3rd down success.
SCORE:
Cincy:25
Den: 19
i would do more, but yall get the picture. on paper we look to be in trouble.
Tebow responded to the buildboards and said he would rather have that money donated to his charity.
Also from Tebow: Tebow said the Broncos don’t have a specific package of plays designed to capitalize on his skills like they did last year, when he came in occasionally on short-yardage situations before starting the last three games.
Hmm, I am not the only one who seen that I take it.
They should really throw a curve at opposing Ds. Instead of Tebow in short yardage, try a QB sneak with Orton. They be so surprised that he is trying to run that it would momentarily freeze the D from shock and we’d get the first down or score. It’s the getting into the short yardage situations we need to figure out how to set up.
We had very few 2nd and short and 3rd and short situations. It`s close to impossible to win a game when just about every play is for long yardage for a first down.
new blog
Sorry for my sarcasm in the last post. I was trying to put some humor on the fact that we are never in short yardage as strand points out.
2 years ago this playing from 2nd and 3rd and long bug bit us and the poison hasn’t worn off, in fact it seems to be worse.
The frustration of all the little things have the fans bored, disenchanted (a bit) and lost with the team we LOVE and will go on LOVING regardless. We would just like a break from the most recent norm of losing and inconsistent play and get back to what we had been spoiled with since the early 80s. A strong consistent .500 or better competitive, exciting team to watch.
my pick for this week is denver 27 cinci 13
My pick=BRONCOS 24 bengals 17
We have a good team and it looks even better this year, but were not going anywhere till we get rid of Orton!!! He is a left over componet of McDaniels, and every game we loose is pretty muc his fault. Look at the game with Oakland… if he hadn’t droped the ball we would have won. I got excited when I heard they were thinking about trading him to Miami but that didn’t work. I would rather work with Tebow a couple yrs. till he’s rdy to lead the team. Ortons got to go!!!!
hey people i have a question for all the broncos fans how times did we get into the redzone in the last game and how many times did we score with ortan vs how many times we got onto the redzone the last time we played the raiders and how many times did we score with tebow ?
Hey Strand, the word is “VOILA” not “WALLAH.” It’s French and it’s pronounced “VWALLAH.”
