Britton Colquitt’s only job on Sunday was to hold for Matt Prater’s field goals and extra points as the Broncos didn’t punt once all game. It was just the fifth time in the 792-game history of the team that Denver did not attempt a single punt.

4
Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas posted a game-high 103 yards vs. Oakland to mark his fourth career 100-yard receiving game in the regular season. He has turned in 100-yard games twice in 2012.

9
Denver’s offense became just the ninth in NFL history to post 500+yards of total offense and 37+points while not punting or allowing a sack.

31
Denver’s 37-6 victory vs. Oakland represented its largest margin of victory against the Raiders in 50 years and the second-largest overall in the 104-game history of the rivalry.

32
Running back Willis McGahee topped the 100-yard mark for the 32nd time in his career, which leads all active backs. Sunday marked the second time this season he’s surpassed 100 rushing yards in a game.

65
Quarterback Peyton Manning extended his NFL record with another 300-yard passing game. The 15th-year signal caller completed 30-of-38 passes for 338 yards and three touchdowns for a passer rating of 130.0. His 78.9 completion percentage with fifth best in his career among games that he attempted 35 or more passes.

500
The Broncos totaled at least 500 net yards (503 – 338 passing, 165 rushing) for the 22nd time in team history.

2007
For the first time since the 2007 season, the Broncos had a 300-yard passer (Manning), a 100-yard rusher (McGahee) and 100-yard receiver (Thomas). The last Broncos trio to accomplish that feat was Jay Cutler, Travis Henry and Javon Walker at Buffalo on Sept. 9, 2007.

Let’s keep that momentum going and take some swagger into NE for some sweet, sweet revenge! Tracy Porter, your time is now!

  2. @CurtOU says:

That was the game where Marshall caught his first TD pass and Elam and the field goal team ran onto the field for the last second, walkoff field goal.

the critics of Manning really tick me off lol Denver arguably has played the toughest 4 games of anyone in the league… to come out at 0.500 is really good… losing sucks but losing back2back to the 2 hottest teams in the NFL right now by a combined 12 pts really aint all bad… i predict Denver beats Brady and the Pats something like 34-20 and goes on to the playoffs as a 11-5 possibly 12-4 team…Manning and the offense will only get hotter

    Hoot!!! Woot!!! Hoot!!!
Enjoy the win against the Oakland! Don’t even think about the Pats.

Truth is: I saw more to be concerned about in the win than I did in the previous two losses.

The battle is won in the trenches and dominating Raider defective trenches is a long shot from being able to beat the Pats. The Broncos are going to need to get some lucky bounces to stay in the game next week.

We are needing Kuper – big time!!! I think having Kuper back will open up the ground game considerably more.

Anyone still want to be calling out Moore? Again – leading the team in tackles as the obvious target of the Raider offense. I never saw Moore miss a single tackle (not saying he didn’t – I just didn’t see it). Moore is stepping up and getting the experience he needs.

It is one of those situations where Moore is easy to set up as a mismatch. The raiders ran big receivers at him and faster receivers at him. Moore was ‘the man’ yesterday and should get as much credit as anyone for the win!

I am a Happy camper!!!! We beat the hated faiders good. Sorry to lose Walton. But I will be on later to express my joy later.

I liked what i saw from 26 as well! I think he is an awesome ball player who has a good work ethic. It just took him awhile to get use to the nfl level… and it stuck out to us fans after watching brian dawkins play.

  8. DaddyBronc says:

Von Dum – happy to be ticking you off. LOL Being a critic has a very long history and is a fun and sophisticated pastime.

Manning was absolutely surgical yesterday! This was allowed because Raiders couldn’t put together a pass rush. It will not be the same against the Pats!!!

” losing sucks but losing back2back to the 2 hottest teams in the NFL right now by a combined 12 pts really aint all bad…” except when your fans are thinking that your 20 million dollars investment is taking you to the Super Bowl….when it is really contributing to the reason why the Broncos will not make it to the Super Bowl.

  9. DaddyBronc says:

I love Walton and hope he gets through this injury well and quickly – but I don’t think we are hurt, at all, as a team.

  10. DaddyBronc says:

Oh – the challenged pass to Decker….

WHAT WAS THAT….IS IT BACK TO REPLACEMENT OFFICIALS????!!! THAT BALL DID NOT MOVE!!! IT WAS A CATCH!!!

haha – just needing to get things back to normal!!!

  11. DaddyBronc says:

I really liked the play call on the Prater – Beadles situation.
The fact that the end result was, humiliating and retarded in appearance, will likely drive Fox back into his conservative shell. My encouragement would be to allow Prater to practice a little more with the QB’s – and to make that gadget work. LOL

  12. DaddyBronc says:

Hey folks – the Pats put 52 on the Bills.

DaddyBronc as much as i like you oppion on things, your still walking around with your bronco cup half fool bro. With tebow were 0-4 maybe one win. We are better than Atlanta without 4 first Quarter turnovers we win, same with the slow start last wk, but you could see that peyton figure that out, but just to late in the game. Patriots and Bills are a division game, stuff like that happens, they know each other so well rt? What I like about the game yesterday, is , that , they kept their pass rush in check with all the screen plays, that, we have all missed badly . Take what the D gives you, spread the formation, and, then, run the ball. If we keep with the screens next wk, Wilford is going to be dead tired, my friend you have to keep the D running sideline to sideline, between the tackles is making their job easier. Our team will jell, but dont jump back on the ban wagon at that point, a true bronco fan, speaks positive everyday, you dont keep beating them down and not giving them credit. But with you, I understand you love to debate brother, and , thats what the blog is all about. I havent been on in awhile, thought I would pull your chain for a minute my bronco brother have a nice night, have to go to sleep, its along ways to Phoenix.
