The Broncos are 6-0 on the road against the AFC West over the past two years.

4
Kicker Matt Prater converted all four of his field goal attempts against the Raiders to tie a career high. Thursday marked the fifth game in which Prater has converted four field goals.

5
Linebacker Von Miller has forced five fumbles in the past five games and is tied with defensive end Elvis Dumervil (2012) and S Dennis Smith (1989) for the most in team history for a single season. Miller and Dumervil are tied for second in the NFL this season in that category.

6
Miller recorded a sack in his sixth consecutive game to set a new career long streak.

16
Miller notched his 16th sack of the season on Sunday against the Raiders, which ranks second on the Broncos single-season record list.

34
Broncos CB Champ Bailey picked off a pass from Carson Palmer in the first quarter on Thursday at Oakland to tie DB Tyrone Braxton for the fourth most interceptions (34) in team history. The interception was the 52nd of Bailey’s career, which represents the most by a cornerback since his rookie season in 1999.

BT in response to what you said a few blogs back. NE offensively had a hard time moving the ball on Miami except for that last drive when they were running down the clock. That drive was actually were they got most of their rush yards. So up until that drive Miami really had shut them down. Their only two TDs came in short yard situations when they got the ball on the Dolphins side and their 2nd TD was helped out by a flag thrown on Miami.

AS for who I would bet on and think would win. Houston. The Patriots have struggled vs good defenses. A lot of their blowout wins were in part because of ST scores and defensive scores (Which is great) But the Texans dont turn the ball over much or allow big ST plays. Texans use a zone blocking scheme which BB has always struggled with. Cards Seahawks and Miami use a variation of that scheme in their run game (Two loses and a closer game than many thought) Only team that had a RB that can be compared to Foster is Lynch and Foster is still better. With that the Texans can really control the clock. Then they have Johnson Daniels and Foster in their pass game as well. Not to mention Danial Graham who has quietly been having a solid past few games. I can really see the Texans controlling the clock moving the ball eating clock all game long and their D be able to slow down the Pats offense enough to get a few stops and maybe confuse Brady enough to throw a rare pick this year or swatting Watt deflect a pass for a TD.

No matter what it should be a really really great game. I think it will be one of the best games of this year.

Last blog everyone was talking about hoping to get the Skins Ravens game. I was hoping too. Instead I get stuck watching the Bungles and Cowgirls.

  3. sndvl says:

Be happy you guys have options. I’m stuck with Chi @ Min. More like AP vs Chi… Lol

  4. alaskanbronco06 says:

Lol sndvl I couldn’t watch the bengals cowgirls so I had to switch it too PBA lol I’d rather have AD vs the Bears. AD has been having a great day ontop of his great year

  5. socalbigbroncofan says:

Thats why i have the ticket. See all the games. Haven’t missed a Broncos game in for years.

  6. strandoftds82 says:

    RAVENS LOST! SWEEEEET!!!!!!!!!

  7. strandoftds82 says:

Anyone know what the weather is going to be like in N.E. for the MNF game?

  8. strandoftds82 says:

So as for now the AFC seeding is
    1. Houston
    2. Denver
    3. N. E.
    4. Baltimore
    5. Indianapolis
    6. Pittsburgh

  9. RH709 says:

    Go kubiak!!!!

  10. strandoftds82 says:

If N.E wins tomorrow night we flip flop positions and we end up at #3 seed. Selfish me, I want a N.E. loss on MNF tomorrow, and I know yall feel the same. LOL

  11. RH709 says:

Man, fractured the scaphoid in my right wrist in a dirt bike wreck yesterday. Hurts pretty bad. Don’t reccomend it.

  12. strandoftds82 says:

Same for Shaub, Foster, and A. Johnson! And on the D side Watts and Company!

  13. RH709 says:

If Houston beats NE tomorrow and we can win out, we got the second seed and a bye. Go Jibes.

  14. RH709 says:

    *kubes

  15. strandoftds82 says:

    Ouch!

  16. strandoftds82 says:

    AMEN TO THAT!!

  17. strandoftds82 says:

I’m so looking forward to tomorrow night, GO TEXANS!!

  18. strandoftds82 says:

Seahawks manhandling the Cardinals 31-0 and its not even half time.

  19. strandoftds82 says:

N.E. plays the 49ers next week too. I want 2 losses in a row by the Pats. HaHa!!

  20. alaskanbronco06 says:

Strand I tried posting an article for you about how Denver should draft Barrett jones but it wouldnt post for some reason.

  21. strandoftds82 says:

He’s perfect if we go O-line in the first round. He can play all 5 positions. And he’s a freak of nature with God given talents.

  22. alaskanbronco06 says:

Yea Strand. Kid is a beast. I still think we go DT in the first round. but if we go OL hopefully its him.

  23. strandoftds82 says:

I read about his scouting report on Walterfootball, very impressive.

  24. strandoftds82 says:

If we do go DT, who would you like? I’m curious.

  25. alaskanbronco06 says:

Peyton Hillis is a FA after this year. I know many wanted him this past offseason. Do yall still want him?

  26. strandoftds82 says:

Yes I do! He’s great for Goal Lines and 3rd or 4th and shorts, heck yes!!

  27. alaskanbronco06 says:

Strand there are a good many DTs I like in that late first projection.

Kwanne Short from Purdue. Jenkins from Georgia Jesse Williams Bama Sheldon Richardson Missouri Sharrif Ffloyd Florida and Sylvester Williams UNC (Basically all DTs with a late first early 2nd projection lol) Short Jenkins and Jesse Williams are my top three.

  28. sndvl says:

Are they not doing the Flex scheduling this year for Sunday night games? You’d think our matchup with Baltimore would be ideal for a Primetime matchup. Granted we’ve played our fair share already, but still… 11am?!?!?

  29. strandoftds82 says:

Nice! We need a huge bruiser to push the pocket so I’ll go Jenkins. Thats me though.

  30. strandoftds82 says:

S.F. At N.E. is the schedule. What a bummer. If it was another game I think they’d flex our game.

  31. RH709 says:

    I dont want Hillis.

  32. alaskanbronco06 says:

Next years FA class has a lot of WRs in it (as of right now before extensions) Mike Wallace Wes Welker Brian Hartline Danny Amendola Greg Jennings Donnie Avery Austin Collie Donald Driver Brandon Stokley Dwayne Bowe

  33. strandoftds82 says:

McDuffuss was the one who ousted him. Thats his fault not anyone else’s. I’d take Hillis back.

  34. strandoftds82 says:

Wow, Welker would be a steal. Expensive but worth it I’d say.

  35. strandoftds82 says:

Besides that gotta re-sign Stokley and possibly snag Bowe. Bowe would love to come to Denver.

  36. alaskanbronco06 says:

Strand it would be hilarious if we got Welker or even Woodhead. But former Pats never work out for us.

  37. strandoftds82 says:

Anyhow, we still got this year to play out. LOL

  38. alaskanbronco06 says:

    Lol that we do strand!

  39. strandoftds82 says:

Welker didn’t like the way N.E. treated him as far as no new contract extension. Maybe we can lure him to Denver. HaHa!

  40. alaskanbronco06 says:

Lol maybe Strand. But still former Pats dont work out for us.

  41. strandoftds82 says:

    OH MAN?! LOL

  42. strandoftds82 says:

    Holy Cow, Seahawks up 48-0

  43. strandoftds82 says:

Gotta love the Ravens loss, I’m stoked!!

  44. strandoftds82 says:

I wonder if Ray Lewis will even make an impact? I doubt it!

  45. alaskanbronco06 says:

Strand I think it will be more emotional than physical. Also Suggs may miss the game.

  46. strandoftds82 says:

And not only Lewis but will Suggs plat too?

  47. strandoftds82 says:

Agreed AB! And I loathe Suggs. I shouldn’t but I do.

  48. alaskanbronco06 says:

Ray Lewis impact that is lol

  49. strandoftds82 says:

We have 1 week to find out.

  50. strandoftds82 says:

I got a lot of respect for Ray Lewis!
