Punter Britton Colquitt is one of just two players in the league to rank in the top three in gross punting average (Colquitt’s 50.1 ranks third) and net punting average (Colquitt’s 43.6 ranks second).

5
Wide receiver Eric Decker caught his fifth touchdown pass of the season on Sunday. He is now tied for fourth in the NFL in that category this season.

6
Cornerback Chris Harris became the sixth different Bronco to lead (or share the lead) in tackles for a game this season. He joins linebacker Wesley Woodyard (three times), cornerback Jonathan Wilhite, linebacker D.J. Williams, linebacker Joe Mays and safety Brian Dawkins.

46.1
Colquitt’s net punting average of 46.1 yards against the Lions marked the second-highest single-game total in franchise history (min. 7 punts). His 50.4 gross punting average ranked seventh in team single-game annals (min. 7 punts).

60
Three different Broncos rushed for 60 yards or more against the Lions. Knowshon Moreno led the way with 69 and Tim Tebow and Lance Ball each gained 63 yards on the ground, totaling 195 yards on 30 carries amongst the trio.

89.7
With all three of Matt Prater’s kickoffs resulting in touchbacks, he improved his league-leading touchback percentage on kickoffs to 89.7 percent this season. 26 of his 29 kickoffs have resulted in touchbacks this season.

I have to say that Sundays game was what I expected it to be vs Detroit. I think that the media is effin stupid. Tebow has not had the chances that many other rookies or established QB’s have had, yet he is held as if he has to play at the level of Young, Farve, Manning, and Elway. What people do not respect is that all those great QB’s did not start 5-0 or even 7-9 their first year, didnt get hell from media or players. Tim is a great person, Great football player and needs the be in the right system. I screamed for ORTON to be benched, but honestly if Tebow doesnt play the rest of this year and allow himself to get developed with out the expectation that he has to be 100% mechanical when his “EFFFINNN” receivers dont play hard enough and catch the balls they actually get, to where he gets all the critisism, I will start screaming FIRE JOHN ELWAY(whoem I love dearly) and HATE John Fox!!. We need a better Coach. A better system. John took over this team knowing that denver had what hey had. You have to get rid of a guy who is 4-22 in 2 years with Denver and Allow TIM to get better. Look at Bradford. You dont see the RAMS saying.. we need to get rid of Bradford.. Bradford sucks.. I expect Denver to win games, as they get better and develop. However I do think that FOX is sabotaging TEBOW some how because of TEBOW Mania. I think the MEDIA should be not allowed to bash one guy like they do with TEBOW, unless they equally do it to all the rest of those QB’s that have the same results as TEBOW… I know there is the right to people’s opinion, but its almost like they are trying to bash his religion, by bashing is play style. If they cant come out plublically and say, TEBOW your a christian and your wrong for that, the they will come out and mock him and show “EVERY BAD PLAY” and not the good ones to try and make their point on him being a bad player.

The media spends so much time(Time is money) on dissing this guy, when we have other players who play just as bad even a VETS but dont get pissed on like Tebow does and he has only played 5 actual games in the NFL.. Seriously.. The media is stupid and I have lost a lot of respect for people like Mike Golic, Mike Greeney, Other NFL Analysts that bash him. Its like they expect him to be the Savior of the broncos.. NO ONE CAN and NO ONE WILL, with out the time and devotion to have a losing year, with one guy who was drafted because we know he can do it.

Now with that being said.. The RECEIVERS, DB’s and Offensive LINE need to step it up. Give protection to TEBOW, and DB”S like DAWKINS SAID.. GET YOUR SHIZIT together ands top giving up so many points. STOP allowing TEAMS to run away with the game. Even if we matched them point to point, you cant win that way. MAKE SOME EFFIN PLAYS and do your parts. RECEIVERS need to get open, shorter routes, and STOP dropping balls… I said a lot here, but as a outsider looking in, its not hard to fix. Its not the QB as it was with ORTON.. Sure Orton MR QUITTER is accurate, but he couldn’t win even being accurate.. SO ITS NOT TEBOW.. STEP up or shut up…Get back to playing Denver FOOTBALL and stop crying about it.. CORNERS, besides BAILEY… REPLACE THEM ALL, if you cant keep them from scoring points then get off the field.

SO for the MEDIA, leave TIM alone until he has had a full year to develop, pick on other positions… JOHN FOX.. fix your crap or get out of denver.. STOP putting the blame on TEBOW, you should have had him in much earlier this year then you put him, and stop trying to sabotage him. We all can see it from the sidelines. Get rid of your OC if you honestly feel your not to blame.. JOHN ELWAY.. the smart thing for you to do is go get BILL COWHER pay him 9.5mil a year 5yr deal and get the broncos back to winning ways.. FOX’s SYSTEM sucks!!!

Hey OrangePride the only chance TT got was to fail or get hurt against the Lions… The real donkeys are Fox and MCcoy…

Wow!! TXWINEBERGS you clearly see Tim as a religious figure to be followed regardless of what his play is.
You say you wanns fire John Fox to get a system that caters to Tebow’s play!?!? Are you “Efffin” blind!?

I support Tebow!! We need to play Tebow the rest of the season and if he can get a handle on being an NFL quarterback or at least show significant improvement in his game play. But if he doesn’t then GET OUT!!

GIVEN that FOX actually improved our team over offseason instead of destroying it like Josh McDanholes I think he deserves at least 3 years!
