The key to winning against Tennessee, first and foremost is the turnovers. Denver has had 5 turnovers to start the season, they have to get a handle on that. Another solid defensive performance on stopping the run will be very helpful as well. We have to continue to pound the ball on offense. Do them long 6-7 minute drives that end in TDs once we get in the redzone. Do all those things and we might have a chance, unfortunately I think we are going lose a close one 27-21. Like Denver 0723, I'm hoping I'm wrong and we pull out the win. Go Broncos!!!

A lot of fans, including myself most of the time, talk about paper stats don't reflect actual game play. The reason why I post so much about Kyle Orton's stats is that when defending him, his stats are used more than anything else. Also, being a baseball guy, stats mean a whole of a lot more in my sport than football, but just the same, they don't reflect passion or "feeling" either.

What he needs to match his 2010 performance in the 4th quarter down by less than 7 points:

30 of 61
49.1 %
285 yds
- 77% rating
0 td 2 int

Here is something better looking into the 4th quarter. You have to considering that he is known for putting up good numbers in the fourth in a "meaningless" fashion to the anti-Orton crowd.

Kyle Orton 4th quarter down by less than 7 points in 2011:

3 of 6
50.0 %
81 yds
135.4 % rating
1 td 0 int

Kyle Orton 4th quarter down by less than 7 points in 2010:

33 of 67
49.3 %
366 yds
58.4 % rating
1 td 2 int

Stuart!, should this"Since realignment in 2002, 62 of the 108 teams (57.4 percent) to make the playoffs at the end of the season began the year at either 1-1 or 0-2" be 1-1 or 2-0 ?

Interesting stats, with the 3rd down conversions being the most surprising! I like that our team can hold teams on third down. Let's keep them from doing much on first and second as well lol.

I didn't submit a score prediction for the Bengals game, crazy week.

I am going Ten 34 Den 20 for Sunday. Hope I am wrong, but they are coming off a big win over Baltimore and will be tough.

Was happy to get a win on Sunday. Not an Orton supporter, but he played smart football. The smartest thing getting the ball to DECKER! Holy cow! Love having 87 on our team.
