Defensive end Elvis Dumervil posted his eight consecutive game with at least a half sack on Sunday at Buffalo. That sack streak is the league’s longest active streak and the longest of Dumervil’s career.

161.1
Denver continues to pace the NFL in rushing yards per game, averaging 161.1 per contest this season. The Broncos have averaged 190.7 rushing yards per game since the bye week, a figure that is nearly 20 yards more than the second place team during that span (Hou., 171.0).

414
Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas led the AFC and tied with Calvin Johnson for the league lead with 414 receiving yards in the month of December. He ranked second in the AFC with 18 first downs and tied for second with three receiving touchdowns in the month.

1,000
Running back Willis McGahee surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark on Sunday against the Bills to become the second player in NFL history (Ricky Watters – S.F./Phi./Sea.) to record 1,000-yard seasons with three different teams (Buffalo – 2004-05 and Baltimore – 2007). He is the 12th player in Broncos history to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards in a season and the first since Tatum Bell in 2006.

I don’t think it’s anything big for this year, he just got released by Tampa I think and he wanted to have him back on his roster for next year before he got snatched up again, at least that’s what I think.

  2. baylinorcrush says:

Rodgers is just the most accurate QB currently in the NFL, end of that debate, LOL.

  3. OrangeTsunami says:

I’m not arguing that, but I have seen him throw passes that are deliberately behind or off target, for his WR to adjust and make the catch

  4. baylinorcrush says:

Actually he was on their practice squad, so he stole him from them, haha, well done, I like the kid.

  5. HardHitting27 says:

The scary thing about the Rodgers stat is that didn’t include his rushing TDs.

  6. baylinorcrush says:

Like the championship belt one against us, LOL.

I hope we put Sylvester in at FB,we desperately need a good fullback if we plan on running the ball against good Defenses!

Larsen is an ok blocker at best, maybe Sylvester can slam up in there and open up some holes.

Remember TD’s success was following Howard Griffith’s blocking!

BTW Drew Brees leads the league with 70.7 % completion percentage!

Right now, if I had to pick a QB at the top of my list in one game between Rodgers, Brees, Reothlisberger, Manning or Brady, I`d go with RODGERS hands down. He`s at the top of his game with those numbers.

  9. OrangeTsunami says:

I wonder how Rodgers would have done if he had to play year one..

  10. S.D.Bronco30 says:

I think tht people around the league have started to respect what Tebow is doing. He may go I doubt that Brady goes, I think he usually skips it.

  11. BeastFromEast92 says:

I’d have to go with a healthy Manning,4 MVPs says it all.

  12. strandoftds says:

    BFE, whats up dude?

  13. baylinorcrush says:

I think he would of done fine, I was always upset at Favre for hanging around not giving a shot to Rodgers because I really thought he would be something, honest.

  14. baylinorcrush says:

I’d go with a younger Elway, haha.

  15. BeastFromEast92 says:

    Hey strand what up?

  16. HardHitting27 says:

Bring on the Chiefs. Weather is going to be decent for the game.

Orton will be booed (not a good thing to add fuel to the fire, as we know he wants to beat us).

The Broncos will come out with a W.

Orton I feel will make a big oops and try to challenge Champ at least once, resulting in a pick.
Miller, Doom and DJ, will get to Orton. Hopefully a lot and get hits. We know he aint mobile so man up the coverage, keep an eye out for the screens and go after Eeyorton.

  17. BeastFromEast92 says:

Well you got me there,I’d go with a 13 years younger Elway too, lol.

  18. strandoftds says:

Did ya see my earlier post about Van Halen Tour with David Lee Roth?

  19. strandoftds says:

    I`m all for Elway. LOL

  20. BeastFromEast92 says:

We really need to hit Orton,we all know what happens to him when he gets hit,McCoy should know all of Orton’s weakness’s,Hell we all do!!!

  21. BeastFromEast92 says:

Yeah dude I hope they tour somewhere close to where I live!

    Van Halen ROCKS!

I was listening to the NFL channel on my sirius today and I heard an interesting tidbit of info that I did not know. I forget who the coach was talking but he was saying that the normal evaluation time for an NFL QB to be judged on whether they are a franchise QB is 30-35 starts minimum. The way the analysts and some people here talk a person has way less time than that. Guess Sanchez is nearing his end of his evaluation. Wonder how he rates? Anyways I just find it interesting though. I have been really surprised that the analysts haven’t been worse on Tebow this week. Many have said he is young and will learn as time goes by and that the reading of the defense and other things are the hardest to learn.

    Cooper blog

  24. strandoftds says:

One of my all time faves.

  25. strandoftds says:

Shaz, that was Ron Jaworski who said that. A ex QB for the G.B. Packers.

  26. baylinorcrush says:

    LOL, for the Eagles!

  27. shaztah says:

Cool thanks Strand. You listened too :)

  28. OrangeTsunami says:

Shaz – good point.. I live in NY, and listen to sports radio when I get a chance. They were talking Sanchez today, and most of the “experts” here are saying the Jets should hold steady with Sanchez and bolster the defense… To keep changing QB’s year after year after year, etc. is like a dog chasing his tail IMHO

  29. baylinorcrush says:

And he pretty much sucked, haha.

  30. strandoftds says:

Shoot, I forgot, Am I getting old or what?! NOT!! LMAO!! oooops!

  31. eddiecheddar says:

How about we think about bringing in Darren Sharper. With Dawkins in and out with injuries we could use another veteran presence in the secondary to help teach young Rahim and Quentin.

  32. eddiecheddar says:

Not to mention the relationship he has with Dennis Allen
