The Broncos own the league’s top rushing attack (159.7 yards per game) after totaling 1,410 rushing yards (201.4 yards per game) over its last seven games – the most productive seven-game rushing stretch in team history.
2
Kicker Matt Prater delivered his second game-winning overtime field goal of the season with his 37-yard kick against the Chargers. Prater, who was 3-of-3 for field goals on the day, joined Rich Karlis (1985) and Jason Elam (2007) as the only players in Broncos history to kick two field goals in overtime in a single season. For his career, Prater is now 24-of-25 (.960) on field goal attempts in the fourth quarter or overtime.
4
Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller each registered sacks of Philip Rivers on Sunday, extending each of their personal sack streaks to four games. They are two of three NFL players (along with St. Louis DE Chris Long) to register sacks in four straight games this November.
5
Against the Chargers, running back Willis McGahee topped the 100-yard rushing mark for the fifth time in 2011. He finished with 117 yards on 23 carries (5.1 avg.), including a 24-yard run in overtime to the Chargers 17-yard line that set up Prater’s game-winning field goal. He is the first Broncos player since Tatum Bell (2006) to produce at least five 100-yard rushing games in a season.
5.8
Quarterback Tim Tebow leads all qualifying NFL players with a 5.8 yards per carry average. He has carried the ball 78 times for 455 yards this season, marking the most rushing yards by a quarterback for a single season in Broncos history.
8
Wide receiver Eric Decker recorded his team-leading eighth touchdown reception of the season on an 18-yard catch in the second quarter. His eight receiving touchdowns mark the second most by a first or second-year player in franchise history (Lionel Taylor, 12, 1960). Decker led the team with three catches for 65 yards against the Chargers.
22
Tebow’s 22 rushing attempts against San Diego marked the most in a game by a quarterback since at least 1950. He finished with 67 rushing yards, helping the team top the 200-yard rushing mark for the game.

Lotta history being made. Love this team.
Tebow to decker. Tebow and willis. Batman and robin. And the unsung heroes of the dline handling their assignments.
Love the numbers … but its the letter that matters most. “W”!

VON TEBOW FOOTBALL!!!! I Believe!!!
FTV!!!
First 4 maybe, very possible. 5 however … don’t hold your breath lol. But I can get onboard with that list. Would like more INTs too. And maaybe a 300 passing yard game for tebow with over 50 percent of his passes completed. Just to prove he can do it, not because that’s the formular for victory … even tho im pretty sure he accomplished that last year. TRB
Hi TRB
I agree, I would like a 300 yarder, so long as it’s in a W!!!
Ummm… Did you guys see the hit that took out Loeffler?!? OUCH, and very dirty IMO, as the guy the Falcon player passed up in order to hit the smaller man was the one that made the play down field…
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings placed receiver Michael Jenkins, long snapper Cullen Loeffler and safeties Husain Abdullah and Tyrell Johnson on injured reserve on Tuesday, ending the season for all four players and delivering a significant blow to a reeling team.

Love that list Turtle! So let it be written, so let it be done!
Oh no. Just heard on the radio that Von Miller had surgery on a broken thumb.
? what radio? that is horrible news if it’s true… I’ve not seen it in any published news yet… I’ll keep a look out, but Uggh…

Turtle #5 is not going to happen…at least not this year…..
Since1972
I grew up in the deserts of socal, where I could ride a dirt bike out of my garage and go where ever. Now I live in Northern Cal. A buddy got me out to the track and its all I ride these days. 2011 kx250f. Braaaap!
Von can play in a cast no problem but thats still not good.
Turtle, happy b-day dude!
My buddy told me about von miller having a broken thumb aswell,i didnt want to believe him because he is a chargers fan,( I know take it easy on him) but if this is true this is gonna b a huge part missing on that new and improved d-line.
Turtle….. Happy Birthday !!
Thanks Strand! I just heard about Von, and it’s not exactly the best news…
Von is quickly becoming my Favorite player in the league… and I haven’t really had a ‘Favorite’ Since TD left the Team… Elway was for sure, then TD was a stop gap, and I will never forgive Griese for what he did to TD…
The NFL Network will show the Broncos vs S.D. game again at 12:30 MNT today. I`ll watch it.
Von Miller will play, his statement about the injury, (no biggie).
If mcgahee can come back from finger surgery quickly, im sure von can too. We need him, and if there was one game we could survive without him, I think it would be against ponder and the battered vikes. Wish him a speedy recovery. We need him. TRB
Cool wish list. I like it.
new blog
Happy bday turtle. Today is mine too.

Doesn’t look too serious.
TRB, I don’t think he’ll have surgery, he just may be limited. I hope McGahee can play, though, cause without him, we may not do as well in the run game.
Ecstatic to see the progress the Broncos have made since the big switch 6 weeks ago. As a Jaguars fan as well, I have seen big changes made at key positions, along with changes in coaching and etc… But I haven’t seen progress of a team like this for a while.
Turtle, 4 out of 5 would be great, but looking at Oakland’s schedule and looking at Cincinnati’s, I really think there’s a good chance 3 wins will get them in at 9-7. 10-6 and they’re a lock.
I like our chances to better both Oakland and Cincy, that’s all we got to be concerned about if we beat them well doesn’t the tie breaker go to the strength of win? Our win was definately stronger than theirs. Plus they have to play the Pack and the Lions and I’m not ruling out the propensity of the Dolfins Chefs or the Electricheads to pull an upset on the Faiders! I think that every team we play Including Chi town-cuttler and the way we have OWNED the Pats in recent years and the Bills weeell they are the Bills…As for Miller, you guys think a thumb brace is going to slow him down that much? OUCH!!! I think they are going to fold and we will be left all allone at the top of the AFC WEST and I been saying since the Dolfin win 9-7 wins the west HOOOORAAAAHHH!!!GO BRONCOS BLUE AND ORANGE MAKE THE WEST BLACK AND BLUE GO BRONCOS GO TEAM!!!
