Head to Sports Authority Field at Mile High Early

September 16th, 2011 - 5:12pm by Gray Caldwell

As you make your way to Sports Authority Field at Mile High for this Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Broncos are encouraging fans to arrive a little earlier.

Last week, the NFL recommended enhanced security procedures at the stadium gates, which will increase the comfort and safety of fans at the game, but also might require additional time for inspection upon entering the stadium.

So if you’re headed to the game, be sure to come a little earlier than you have in the past.

Dawk will be 38 October 13.

  2. baylinorcrush says:

    Sharper is a yougn, LOL.

  3. baylinorcrush says:

This is the second safety they have been working out in a week, there must be something they don’t like about our safeties.

  4. strandoftds says:

I`d like Sharper as a backup but not at the expence of losing 2-6 as a starter. As a backup it`s fine with me.

  5. strandoftds says:

We need depth at Safety I think.

  6. strandoftds says:

BFE, at the moment I`m listening to Van Halen`s first CB. Eruption!!

  7. strandoftds says:

The Denver Post says we are going to work out 4 RB`s next week.

  8. BeastFromEast92 says:

strand,at the moment bro,I’m jamming out on some 3 doors down,I know it’s not what we grew up on,but I like some of it!!!

  9. strandoftds says:

ooops, scratch that, the nfl news says that.

  10. BeastFromEast92 says:

But I’m sure I’ll find my Black Sabbath Born Again son!!!!

  11. strandoftds says:

    Good stuff bro.

  12. BeastFromEast92 says:

    be back soon!!!

  13. baylinorcrush says:

Maybe Fox is on to Moreno now, like he should be on to Demaryius, can’t count on guys who can’t answer the bell.

  14. strandoftds says:

Heaven and Hell bro, awesome CD.

  15. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Its the same thing I said … Bruton was originally a SS … not a FS … if Rahim was to get hurt … who would step in, thats why I wasn’t really a fan of McBath being cut. Moore got shaken up and went out a couple of times monday … Bruton did step up in the endzone but can he be counted on every time is the question. Maybe after seeing Dawk play like he is 28 not 38 they decided to give a Ballhawk like sharper another look … nothing more than a 1 year contract im sure. But we need guys like them … greats like them … to Bring Moore and Carter along … but i don’t think we can spare the depth chart space. Fox clearly believes enough in the DTs plus no quality DTs out there. Thomas will be back soon and they hold hope for Ty Warren … if we can get them back we can have a rotation of pretty quality DTs … which McBean and Unrein are not. TRB

  16. strandoftds says:

Did you read it on nfl under Sharper, we`re trying out RB`s a DT too.

  17. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Yea thats great about the DL and RB … didn’t see that part … Ill say this again … until the line can get some push and run block properly … It doesn’t matter if we have purple jesus (Adrian Peterson) back there or the white rhino (Hillis) we will struggle for rushing yards … sure of pure talent they may fair better than Moreno and McGahee and any other RB that has tried to run here in the past 2 years but it won’t solve the core problem … Moreno can run the ball … his only problem is injuries and I understand wanting him gone for that but let it NOT be because of running the ball cuz our OL isn’t getting it done. Im sure all the rookies pretty much learned last year was pass blocking with MCD … now they gotta learn run blocking under Fox and Magazu

  18. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Strand I think its a lil too late to get anything of quality in the DT department right now … that ship said with the draft and FA … I mean we had a young guy with experience like Okoye and I don’t think we gave him a look … or maybe HE didn’t give us a look. As expensive as Bannan was maybe we shoulda kept him at that price … he is better depth than what we have right now. TRB

  19. BeastFromEast92 says:

What ….we now start signing FAs…this is a freaking joke!!!!

  20. BeastFromEast92 says:

strand,I can’t find my Born Again CD,so I’ll just burn me another one,be back later!!!

  21. strandoftds says:

TRB your right on the quality DT`s being gone. ouch.

  22. strandoftds says:

    Okey Dokey Smokey!

  23. baylinorcrush says:

Breer, who was right about us losing last week is at it against us this week again:

    Broncos 17 Bengals 20
Cincinnati starting 2-0? Believe it. The Bengals aren’t all that talented, but they’re tougher than people think. And so the quarterback watch continues in Denver.

    Not my prediction btw, haha.

  24. strandoftds says:

If we lose sunday I`ll say we are the #1 pick in 2012.

  25. baylinorcrush says:

In fact, he has all 4 AFC West teams losing this week.

  26. strandoftds says:

Well, S.D. has a tough game in N.E.

  27. BeastFromEast92 says:

Hell son I just went ahead and burned Born Again and Seventh Star both on the same disc….beat that!!!!!!!

  28. BeastFromEast92 says:

I will enjoy it now,be back later!

  29. strandoftds says:

I burned Van Halens I and II last night on one CD, KILLER!!

  30. RabidOrange says:

You know, it’s sad, really that I am having an increasingly difficult time being irritated with people that say we’re going to lose. Now I have to make the painful statement (not out loud, of course) that, “I can see why you would think that.”

  31. broncosfreak30 says:

Hey guys, sorry haven’t been able to post too much recently! Work and school is kicking my a$$! I definitely think we will beat the bengals! If we lose to the bengals, then mark my words, we will be VERY lucky to win 4 games this year! I think we’ll be 1-1 after this week and I also think the Chargers will be 1-1 as well! KC will most likely be 0-2 and I also think that Oakland will lose to Buffalo. So my prediction after this week is that we’ll be in a 3 way tie with Oakland and San Diego for our division lead! I think we will turn around A LOT of things in this game! Can’t be worse than what we was last week! Orton needs to step it up or sit on the bench. Either way, I don’t care, he just needs to decide now in this game!!

  32. strandoftds says:

    My prediction is to win.

  33. RabidOrange says:

As is mine, strand, but I think we’ll do it off of defense and ST. Until the leadership shapes up, I have little confidence in our offense. I hate to say that, but it’s true. Even though I like Tebow, I hope that Orton figures something out this week. Let’s just say I’m not optimistic about it though…

  34. baylinorcrush says:

This is the view of our team on the official Bengals website:

Coach John Fox has been brought to Denver to turn the Broncos into the Mountain (Time) Panthers with a powerful running game and cutting-edge defense. But until he can get the right personnel in place, he’s going to have to throw to score, according to a former NFL scout familiar with both the Bengals and Broncos.

    Hard to argue with that.

  35. strandoftds says:

I`ve said it before, if Benson runs all day on us it`ll be a long game. I`d run Benson against us, it`s no secret that we can`t stop the run.

  36. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I think Fox really underestimated how bad this team was … either that or yesterday was just an anomaly … but it looked too reminiscent of last years broncos to be an anomaly. From the play calling, to the execution, to the ineffectiveness. Only thing that felt a bit different was the D … I sensed some spunk … not good enough yet cuz the personell isn’t really there at all levels but the intensity was a bit … just a bit higher than last year and the play calling looked a whole lot better as well … But we will see this sunday if the Broncos “are who we thought they were” – TRB

  37. baylinorcrush says:

    And they go on:

“Fox is playing with Josh McDaniels’s people,” the ex-scout said of the fired Denver head man. “He wants to run the ball, but he’s got these small, athletic linemen on offense that are suited to run screens and draws. That’s what they’re going to have to do until they get bigger people in there.”

  38. strandoftds says:

    Amen to that.

  39. RabidOrange says:

Yes, it is too a secret. SHHHHHHH. . . . . Maybe they won’t figure it out if we don’t talk about it…

  40. strandoftds says:

    HaHaHa!! Funny.

  41. broncosfreak30 says:

    Yea strand…

I just tried to call you bro! But I agree with you, if we lose Sunday, we will be the 2nd-3rd pick this year!! I just don’t think there is any way that we lose to the Bengals. Even the analysts picked us 4-5 times to beat the Bengals. I know that doesn’t mean anything but they never pick us! Point being, we EASILY win this game I believe!

My prediction- Broncos 32 Bengals 17

  42. baylinorcrush says:

    Freak30, newsflash!:

Last week all 8 ESPN analysts picked us to win, LOL.

  43. strandoftds says:

Hey Freak30, whats going on? Long time no talk bro.

  44. strandoftds says:

Ya I`m away from my phone. God help us if we lose sunday.

  45. 1nOnlyTRB says:

I dont buy the crock about our athletic linemen being to small … we used to get it done in the zone scheme … I hear we are still running the power … nonesense … we don’t have the linemen for that …someone get Dennison in her and show them how its done. We don’t have the personnel for power … I was hoping he was brining the zone scheme from Panthers … no dice … and im guessing thats because of our OC … he has more of a power scheme which was why McD chose him … which there by explains our inability to run … still that power nonesense … we are a zone team … always have … always will be. TRB

  46. baylinorcrush says:

This is Williamson about the game:

Playing without both Bailey and Dumervil (arguably their best two defenders) would be crippling for a defense that is still very much a work in progress. Add in the fact that three fellow starters, linebacker D.J. Williams (elbow) and defensive tackles Ty Warren (triceps) and Marcus Thomas (shoulder), are still out and Denver is in danger of dropping to 0-2 in two home games to start the season. Times are tough in Denver and they might get even tougher Sunday.

  47. BeastFromEast92 says:

Hey guys I have to agree,Fox has more of a depleted roster than the powers that be had in Carolina (which Fox had no control over) it will take time, even for a good HC to turn the Broncos around.Hell Fox had more talent in Carolina than we have, but was under the mercy of the powers that be,he didn’t have any say so what so ever in Carolina,so I guess we will have to “LEARN” patience,I know we have been waiting a long freaking time,it’s been 6 years since we made the playoffs, but we may have to wait a couple of more years, don’t cut Fox short just yet,let him have a chance to build up the roster, then reevaluate him!!!!

Then if he don’t show progression, give him the AXE!!!

  48. BeastFromEast92 says:

Hey bay if we go 0-2 we are in for a 3-13 or 4-12 season at best!!!!

  49. strandoftds says:

    It`s gonna take some time.

  50. baylinorcrush says:

Ha, the line in Vegas has dropped down to us favorite by 3.5 when it started at 4.5 because too many folks have been placing their money on the Bengals.
