Beadles better than Harris,I don't even think so,I'd rather wait and let Harris heal up and put Beadles back at 2nd string.Harris, when healthy is a great RT,prob one of the best in the game.

I am glad to see someone actually agrees with me...even if it is only partially. I will say this and then breath deeply for the rest of the year and let the chips fall, then complain. I thnk I watch the games way more analytical than necessary. I also am grading the OVERALL performance of McD and this team. which in my opinion cannot be undersold the personnel decisions. It pains me to watch Scheff, Marshall and Hillis all perform at such high levels and KNOW that they can be reasons why we are 6-0 NOW rather than 2-4. I have been watching BDAWK for a while and saying that he has lost 3 steps. If McD is truly about this "competition" and "playing the best man" I think Thompson would have and should have been in there a while ago. Cox too. We have to make decision that are best for this team. He doesn't at times I think realize how idiotic he makes himself seem. He is stubborn at times for no reason. When asked if Tebow could help in the redzone he called it ridiculous. Tebow's first carry in the red zone. TD. REALLY!!! That could have been done 5 games ago. Then when he put Tebow in later, they ran the same play every time. Where are these "packages" you keep talking about. Plus diving Tebow into the line is not bright the way that we have been getting injured as of late. I do not think you take you "QB of the future" and treat him that way. But that is an argument for another day and another time. I think that we are enamored with the final score of that game and are forgetting some of the factors that "helped" us. east Coast team travelling west, ona short week, after consecutive high emotion games. They played bad and still WON. I agree that the PI call was legit. We are all mad at HIll but what was COX doing. He got DESTROYED off the line. Also, i am sure that most folks would agree that we were also aided by a phantom unecessary roughness call on the sideline, and a lack of a challenge on the touchdown. All that though is water under the bridge and I am epeating myself. The reason I said I wa not impressed by Orton was not strictly the numbers, which were poor, but because of some of the decisions. If you actually watched the game, many of his incompletions were passes to receivers who were BLANKETED. It seemed at times he was simply hoping for PI. Some may call it "letting the receiver make a play" but we generally do not have those types of receivers. The exception being DMT. I think the season is not over, but I think we are generally underestimaing some of the comp. We ALWAYS struggle with SD, the Raiders are HORRIIBLE on offense, but play well enough on D to stay in games, we won't just walk all over them. THe Chiefs, well they have playmakers. Houston...whew...Kubiak is gonna be ready. SF is not as bad as they play. Even the RAms are doing a lot better. It is going to be interesting, but we are not guaranteed this 4-4.

Glad to see that Beadles might turn out to be a starter for us after all, but it seems as if it may ultimately mean the beginning of the end for Harris in Denver, Lindsay Jones reporting:

Harris missed the first three games of this season with an ankle injury, but returned to the starting lineup two weeks ago at Tennessee. But after a rough day in Baltimore last week, coaches opted to give Beadles another shot at right tackle. (Beadles started the games when Harris was out).

On Monday morning, coach Josh McDaniels said Beadles played well enough Sunday against the New York Jets to remain the starter. Though McDaniels said the spot remains “competitive,” this is bad news for Harris, who is in the final year of his contract in Denver.

“I thought [Beadles] played tough in there, did a decent job in pass protection against a team that really gives you a lot of different looks and brings different types of pressure,” McDaniels said.

McDaniels said Harris’ demotion was the result of “a combination of a lot of things,” including the ankle injury he suffered in the preseason finale at Minnesota. Because of the two injuries, Harris made only one start from Nov. 1, 2009 until two weeks ago.

Good view of a good writer who can see both sides of the coin unlike many fans, here is what Klis says about this loss and the rest of the season:

My view of the Jets' loss is if the game was played in the new Meadowlands and the Broncos competed as they did Sunday, I'd say go ahead and starting planning, just in case, for a Broncos viewing party in January.

But when the games are played at home, there is no such thing as feeling good about defeat. Has the bar been lowered that much around here? Maybe so -- the Broncos are 4-12 in their last 16 games.

The Jets are good. I'd still take the Steelers on a neutral field, Indy at Indy and the Saints at the Superdome. But right now, it looks like the Jets are a good bet to reach the second round of the playoffs, or Elite Eight. At which point we'll, you know, see what happens.

But the Jets were set up for defeat Sunday. The Broncos had 'em out-game planned and were more inspired. They had the Jets teed up -- only to shank their shot. In the end, the Broncos just didn't quite have enough manpower.

When it's your season, Ryan Clady decides he doesn't feel like playing basketball on draft weekend. When it's your season, Elvis Dumervil doesn't tear his pectoral muscle. When it's your season, Ryan Harris doesn't rip up his ankle in the final preseason game, Knowshon Moreno doesn't blow out his hamstrings, LenDale White doesn't rupture his Achilles, Robert Ayers doesn't fracture his foot, Brian Dawkins and Andre' Goodman don't miss any time.

Ultimately, the Broncos still have a chance to make the playoffs so long as 8-8, 9-7 has a chance. What that does for you depends on whether you see this team half-full or half-empty.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell, whatever comes out of the rest of the season is up to what's left of the Bronco troops, tall order for a decimated bunch, but still doable. We are still in control of our destiny, believe it or not, even at 2-4, but the two things that bother me the most so far is not that we are 4-12 since October 20th of last year, it's not that we are 2-4 this year, it is that we are 1-2 at home and 1-4 against AFC opponents, now that is not the right combination of records to set yourself up to make a run at a playoff spot.

First thing the 4 conference losses take away any chance you could of had at a wildcard, and a losing record at home is, well, not exactly a good omen for reigning on our division as the three home losses to our division foes last year remind us. Arduous gigantic mountain of a climb ahead, but still in the realm of possibility, but only with the very best from each player, including coaches and game plans and getting some guys back healthy and not lose anymore, so we will need a lot of lady luck too. Half full, half empty, with 3 division games in the next 4 games, it won't be long until we know which way that glass is heading. Anyone needs a refill? LOL.

I really hope our guys take this week seriously. The way SD, OAK and ourselves have been performing it never seems to be an automatic W. The way we need to gain some ground in the standings is to win these divisional game...its all been said before right.
Remember last year when we were winning and we pretty much let Russell beat us. It doesn't matter who the QB is for the Raiders, we need to play them like they're a threat. Sometimes its those QBs that you think really stink that end up beating you. As we've all seen it only takes one more play by the other team to cost you the game. Intensity and turnovers and scoring a lot of points will be key.

Go Broncos!!!!

What a great game! I love when I watch Sanchez's press conference and heard him say we came in here and stole this win and that's exactly what they did! The whole entire game we were the superior team!!

What a great rookie effort out of the day as well!!! Tebow=TD, Bay Bay=TD, Syd=INT, Cox=Helped with fumble from Holmes!! I wished that Bay Bay would've gotten those other few catches but the way he about did just shows that he is going to be huge in the NFL! Bay Bay definitely reminds you of Johnson/Marshall!! We shall see.

Also I will say, what a great pick up Jason Hunter was. I think that he is going to be just as good as a pick up as Dawkins was!! Hunter was all over the field the whole game and is playing his new role as a linebacker beautifully!!! He also had that crucial sack last week on Flacco that denied their 4th down conversion!!

Our defense played magnificently the whole game!! We had so many of our really good starters out with Dawk and Goody and we still controlled their passing attack! They didn't even have a receiver to get over 50 yards!

Orton, you're the man baby!! You even had Rex compare you to Elway in his press conference with how good you was scrambling on their defense!! Way to avoid the sack and use those legs! Definitely made a play whenever the play wasn't there!! Go on to beat the NFL passing yards for a season!

Can't wait to get revenge this weekend and KILL the Faiders!!! Apparently Bruce and Campbell are both injured and the are thinking about starting Boller this weekend! Hahaha, Boller used to play for the Rams and my cousin is a huge Rams fan so I watched him a lot and I really believe that he is close to the worst back up QB that you can have in the NFL!! He might actually make Chris Simms look good! Hahah

I love me some Broncos Country!!!!!!
