It’s not my list people. Any help baylin? Geez…

  2. baylinorcrush says:

Luck is on TV now, it’s halftime, worth watching trust me.

  3. baylinorcrush says:

    What say you?

  4. baylinorcrush says:

You know how to fend for yourself sndvl, the guy I almost helped was the #1 Cowboy hater and then bloggers jumped all over him saying he was a Cowboy lover, now that wasn’t fair.

  5. baylinorcrush says:

Plus it’s the one who delivers the message who gets grilled, LOL.

  6. Broncos Born & Raised says:

Sndvl I just want you to know I’m not trying to trash talk you, I was just curious what changed your feelings about Tebow. I know you wanted Orton to start this season but you said you liked Tebow. That list was not the only post I was going off of and I know it’s not your list.

  7. Broncos Born & Raised says:

Luck is looking good. No surprise there. Still I really don’t want us to be the worst team in the NFL this year. Can’t root for that.

  8. baylinorcrush says:

The best part about that Reilly article was the Hurricane Andrew bit. I guess he would be a shoe-in in Miami.

  9. Broncos Born & Raised says:

And I thought the Cowboy LOVER comments were funny. I don’t think it’s any worse than calling people freaks, which is what he had to say about anyone who wants to see what Tebow can do.

  10. sndvl says:

Lol! Just messing around. I don’t have anything against Tebow. Matter of fact, if Orton doesn’t step it up tomorrow his days are seriously numbered. As it stands now, he’s down to hours.
I mean if Elway is at this game now, well we all know how to read between the lines.
If EFX are entertaining any thoughts of getting “Luck”y in April, they MUST evaluate Tebow.
Unless we are shocked and Tebs gets traded in 2 weeks?

All I know is I don’t want to see ANY 12+ play 80+ yard drives tomorrow!

  11. baylinorcrush says:

Maybe Luck gets drafted by whoever and refuses to play for that team and forces a trade to the Broncos a la Elway, LOL.

  12. shaztah says:

I wish I could find a list somewhere that will tell me how many of the so called “Best QB prospects” from previous drafts actually did something. Look at Tom Brady he is great and didn’t get drafted until the 6th round. I just wish I had the ability to see the future like some people and predict who is great and who isn’t. By the way, I finally found an article that explains the QQ in detail. All of this we already knew. I don’t know if anyone has posted this but I will cuz it is nice to finally see it in official print.

  13. baylinorcrush says:

To me I buy that EFX have already made up their mind that McD’s first round draft pick Tebow ain’t it for the Broncos therefore playing him is only a lose/lose situation for them, if he is successful there will be an uproar when he is traded and if he is not successful he loses all trading value. Anyhow, that’s the only thing that makes sense anymore if the escalators have nothing to do with it as Klis says.

  14. baylinorcrush says:

Yeah that’s now old stuff. OC and I talked it up weeks ago and I still do think it’s the money but if it is not like some say then it can only be that they have no plans for Tebow, so Tebow fans everywhere better hope it’s the money.

  15. 1nOnlyTRB says:

wow talk about fighting for a 1st on 4th and 1. TRB

  16. baylinorcrush says:

But Fox will never adapt his style of coaching to accomodate Tebow’s, so that’s an impossibility there, if Tebow is to play for us it will be with a different HC, but that won’t happen soon because Bowlen will give Fox at least two years, so Tebow fans are basically screwed I’m sorry to say.

  17. Orange_Crusher says:

If Elway’s at the game on the sideline he must really, Really, REALLY love Andrew Luck…. wow!

Maybe this is truthfully what we are going after… To get the rights to draft the best QB since Elway……

Elway really knows what he’s doing so I’m sure that Luck would be a winner but I wonder if we aren’t being naive about getting a QB that the entire NFL covets and knows his value?

It’s going to be a legitimate brawl to the bottom to get this player in the draft… Unless Elway has an ace up his sleeve like what he did when he came out and refused to play for the colts… humm? idk?

I’m starting to think that they want to completely erase every piece of the McD era so that way when we succeed in the future, NOTHING can be accredited to McDaniel’s…

That means, clean house on all of them regarding of their talent or ability to help the team win now..

This is all going to back-fire if we are not careful. We could end up not getting Luck, and then what?

If Tebow never gets a chance here in Denver and then succeeds elsewhere, it will be just as great of an error as to miss out on Luck in the Draft and end up having to continue with Orton and no Tebow in 2012..

  18. baylinorcrush says:

Just heard something spooky, how Standford is a TE friendly O with like 4 or 5 of them getting catches all over the place, and Fox keeps getting all those TEs and we always thought it was to help Tebow, LOL.

  19. Broncos Born & Raised says:

I don’t necessarily believe EFX has ruled out Tebow. I don’t even think it’s a matter of Fox drastically changing his style of coaching. If anything he should like a hard nosed QB who brings toughness to the team and can move the chains with his legs. I think he just has to get better at reading defenses and get more accurate throwing the ball. Those are things that analysts who’ve played at a high level in the NFL, like Cris Carter and Steve Young, say can be improved with hard work. I think Fox’s history indicates that he will make a change at QB if the losses continue to pile up. Tebow stands a great chance at getting his shot and I believe when he does there truly will be no going back. One thing we do know is that he is working night and day to be prepared as he can for his next opportunity.

  20. Orange_Crusher says:

    *regardless of their tallent..

  21. baylinorcrush says:

OC, I saw him on the Standford sidelines myself, of course it’s his alma matter but give me a break we are playing a game at home tomorrow, it is kind of odd, but not if he really wanted to get a feel for himself from the sidelines on how exactly Luck is progressing, and oh boy is he getting an eye full!

  22. Broncos Born & Raised says:

And there’s a good chance Elway is at the game because he is a Stanford alumni. Also isn’t he assigned to look up quarterbacks?

  23. Broncos Born & Raised says:

    Look *at* quarterbacks.

  24. baylinorcrush says:

Whoever gets Luck will get a big jump on the competition, that’s all I can say after watching him dissect the field tonight, granted against the Buffaloes, but his accuracy is uncanny.

  25. Broncos Born & Raised says:

    You got that right.

  26. baylinorcrush says:

    Luck tonight, 26/33 for 370 yds, 3TDs, 1 INT, that’s all, LOL.

  27. baylinorcrush says:

Let’s just hope he doesn’t go to KC.

  28. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

Wow Luck was impressive, they just took him out he was making some serious throws 26/33 for 371 yards only missed 7 passes!

LOL + he has a neck beard LMFAO

    -Royalty

  29. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

Can never beat bay to the stats lol

  30. stevecan2 says:

impressive showing no doubt but don’t forget being the best college qb doesn’t matter. or maybe just if your name is tebow? lol.

  31. sndvl says:

The stat I saw that made me feel all Elway inside was his 78.8% completion percentage!!!

Not that I’m endorsing any suck for Luck propaganda. Miami might finally solve their Marino dilemma!!! Lol.

  32. stevecan2 says:

luck is good don’t get me wrong but he is still facing college level defenses.

  33. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

I think Elway went to see his alma matter + it’s a small flight to Boulder in his G5 or whatever he flew in, but I bet it’ll be all over the Denver sports headlines tomorrow…

  34. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

I don’t really read too much into it…

But if we do end up at the bottom it doesn’t hurt to have Elway in Lucks ear just sayin…

  35. royalbroncofan1 says:

    Here’s another connection…
Greg Roman is the assistant head coach for offense and tight ends coach. He has spent 13 of his 15 years coaching in the NFL, including seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers as a defensive quality control coach, an offensive quality control coach, a strength and conditioning assistant, an offensive assistant and an assistant offensive line coach.

Stanford’s playbook also had more than 350 plays.
    (Talk about higher learning).

  36. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

*Not at but towards the bottom

  37. Crazyhorserider says:

Is it possible that Tebow will never be given a chance by anyone? Seems wrong that any team would draft a high profile player and then never give him a chance.

Are Elway and Fox deliberately trying to wreck Tebow’s career?

All I can say is their treatment of Tebow does not show them in a good light and makes them look downright disrespectful. If they are not going to give him a chance they should let him go elsewhere.

  38. Crazyhorserider says:

High completion stats are very dependent on the quality of the receivers. It is a team game and individual stats never show the whole picture.

  39. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

That’s the strategy though Elway can just say: ‘Hey I was just there to watch my alma matter, it was close by, i’m not a scout, nothing more.’ And basically wash his hands of the situation. Obviously people aren’t that ignorant but that’s the ‘PR ploy’ if it does come up in questioning.

  40. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

I didn’t see Elway — with my own eyes — on the sidelines though… But bay said he did…

  41. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Well clearly for luck unlike Tebow … apparently the same excuses wont be there … u know like “College and NFL are completely different” “NFL is a whole different beast” “He wasn’t playing NFL caliber defenses” “He had a strong supporting cast” …. u name it … the usual stuff they used on TT and some on Cam (who by the way is doing well for a rookie)

Lets face it … Analyst decide who they like and they don’t like based on opinion, bias and in some respect … analysis. But at the end of the day … no one knows. People they say will succeed bust, people they say will bust succeed. There is are some intangible things that u cannot factor in the calculation.

As far as TT … I really don’t care how it plays out … I was very excited to see him coming into this season when I thought he would start and was sad when I found out he wouldn’t … but since then … I don’t care. I wanna see him start cuz I believe in him but more importantly I wanna know how it will play out. Thats whats killing me the most. How all this will play out. And if its the Luck thing and trading Tebow and Luck sucking and Tebow Winning elsewhere … all ill just do is one of those long side splitting laughs when u realize how effed up a situation is but all u can do is laugh. TRB

  42. tnalen66 says:

well i want to believe that SD will be over confident and Orton YES Orton will have his best game as a Bronco and Broncos 27 SD 24. Its time to win at home again.

  43. tnalen66 says:

i do not want KC or Indy to get Luck.I wouldn’t mind him to go to Seattle so we would not see that often

  44. sndvl says:

The game was in Palo Alto. As in Cali. Not Boulder. Lol!!!

The plot, uh, the QQ thickens…

  45. zhaoyunfan says:

if it isn’t late for gameday prediction i say broncos 24 chargers 21

  46. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

LOL was it sndvl haha I only saw some of the second half. In that case the plot DOES thicken lol

  47. samurai713 says:

Kyle Orton will be gone after this season, the question is will Tim Tebow be gone as well. We could end up sucking and getting Luck, then letting Tebow and Luck battle it out for the starting job. With the rookie wage scale in place now, Luck won’t be as expensive. That said, I don’t like it one bit. Orton has done nothing but lose here, and it makes me angry everyone saying he’s the best option. He won 6 straight, with major help from the defense, since then he has won how many games? In any other situation I truly believe Tebow would have long gotten his shot by now. It will be sad when he’s traded and succeeds elsewhere while we’re still trying to rebuild from the devastation since Mike left. Plummer was our best QB since Elway, Cutler second. Both of them got run out by the HC, Tebow will likely be the third, only he hasn’t gotten the fair chance Cutler did.

  48. BroncoRoyaltyEst.1979 says:

“Hosting the Chargers should be a more reasonable gauge than traveling to Green Bay was,” says ESPN analyst Kuharsky.

I think that statement may be right on point.

This is a harder game to pick in terms of… the Broncos having their backs against the wall in a must-win-game. But, of course until our Broncos prove me wrong I have no choice but to pick them to lose…

    Chargers – 28 Broncos – 24

  49. alexanserg says:

    prediction:

    Broncos 25 -sd 20

  50. alexanserg says:

“We need our starting quarterback to get experience, for us to improve,” coach John Fox said. “That’s the idea behind that. He needs to get better in our system. I know he gets judged on the past couple of years. But we are trying to get him better in our system and use that experience to get better.”

I’m sick of Fox already. I really hope that it really is all about money and the contract escalators, and all this Orton is better/our best option stuff is all just smoke and mirrors to justify starting probably the worst QB on our roster.

If Fox really believes this stuff, then it seems to me like he is totally clueless about QB evaluation (like McD was at every other position)), and Foxes tenure as the Broncos HC will be long and excruciating.
