  2. Cdudbronc24 says:

Am i the only one who still believes in Knowshon Moreno

  3. Cdudbronc24 says:

    Broncos 27 Chargers 20

  4. Orange_Crusher says:

only if you are his mom…..lol

  5. 1nOnlyTRB says:

cdud … for what its worth … I believe in him as well … guy just can’t catch a break. I long knew he would never live up to 12th overall pick but i don’t think he is as bad as others think. I think he cares and he tries but … just snake bitten. This was his year to prove people wrong … but got hurt in first game and been aching ever since with Willis stepping up … I think he is done. But can he run? I think he can run as long as the oliine does their job which they barely did the past 2 years. He will be fine … he is a millionaire but I think this year was his last chance and he just lost it. He will most likely be a 3rd down back for the rest of his career. TRB

    Wow!

    So much weird stuff!

Not just this blog, but the last three.

TRB stepping his rethoric down about Moreno!

What a shocker there since it was brought up over and over that he came in such great shape this season…

And others who find nothing better than to belittle the fans who question the actions of the organization!

Fans who tell fans how to be fans are despicable in my book.

    Like in a Totalitarian regime.

Just enough weird Friday night non sense for me to sign off.

    Laters as TRB would say…

  7. BeastFromEast92 says:

    ORTON STILL SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. BeastFromEast92 says:

bay..I was a big Moreno believer too,but he is so injury prone he ain’t worth it anymore, and so is D.Thomas…if they both panned out we would be a Helluva lot better team than we are now,but as you know not many of McDufus’s draft picks did pan out….Decker……I guess that’s it!!

There are still a few players that the jury are still out on like:
    Ayers,Walton,Beadles,Bruton,and Sid!!!!

    And oh yeah TEBOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. BeastFromEast92 says:

    Oh yeah …..T.G.I.F.

    Finally Friday!!!!!!!!

    Got Beer?

  10. S.D.Bronco30 says:

Don’t think Ayers is gonna pan out

  11. pdp1408 says:

    broncos 20 chargers 31

  12. BeastFromEast92 says:

S.D.Broncos30….Ayers never was promoted to be a sack artist…he had a pretty good year his senior year, but he has a lot of QB pressures this year and has been good against the run…..you don’t have to be a Sack artist to be a good D linemen…as long as Doom and Miller get the sacks Ayers is helping in pressuring the QB and run stop!!!!!!!

If you are watching the games you can see how much Ayers has progressed since he has moved back to DE!!!

  13. 1nOnlyTRB says:

Well Bay the thing about me was that I wasn’t willing to give up on moreno … and ayers before this year. Many had already decided on him. Just wanted to give him a final chance to prove all his haters wrong … but no dice. Especially now that he is officially numer 2 on depth chart. Willis took advaantage of injury and proved himself … only sad part now is that 90 percent of the time when moreno is in. Now they know its definitely a pass down cuz we only ran with him like once on that dumb short yardage gain. Gotta mix it up more so they don’t always know he aint running. Ayers is like unnoticed but im sure he is doing his part to help his teamates make plays … while I didn’t want him originally … was looking forward to him in 43 and moreno in zone … the former happened but not the latter. TRB

  14. BeastFromEast92 says:

TRB…..we have the rest of the year to reevaulate Moreno and Ayers…both were top notch players in the SEC…..I don’t believe either one has reached their FULL potential!!!!!!!!!

  15. BeastFromEast92 says:

I agree that Moreno would be a Beast in the zone!!!!!!!!!!

  16. rayjr26 says:

well, glad to be back. Its late on a fri night, beers are good. Bay … did you get my score? it was a few blogs ago… i can prob repost if necessary.

    GO BRONCOS.
QQ = Rocket science… No wonder us fans do get it!

  17. stevecan2 says:

excited for this game. no fan will change their mind based on it but it is huge for the team. another disappointing divisional home loss will hurt the bottom line.

  18. seweatherman1 says:

All I can say it really hurts when the sports announcers on national TV. refer to your team as high school junior varsity team, then show ‘somebody’ (not mentioning any name) falling off of the exercise bike and making a joke about that too.

  19. strandoftds says:

This just in; Orton still sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. strandoftds says:

Cool article this morning in the Denver Post about RB Payton Hillis. Good memories.

  21. baylinorcrush says:

    LMAO@weatherman.

TRB, you forgot about the Moreno run straight up the middle on the two point conversion, LOL.

  22. strandoftds says:

Moreno should try out for Dancing With the Stars. Who knows, he might win, he`s a dancer. LOL

  23. baylinorcrush says:

And TRB, it looks like Dawk will play according to Klis:

I talked to Broncos’ safety Brian Dawkins in the locker room Friday. He left the impression that despite missing two practices this week with an ankle injury — his first two missed practices of the season — he will play Sunday against the San Diego Chargers.

“You just have to be smart about these things,” he said.

Don’t misunderstand. Even though Dawkins is in his 16th NFL season, he needs to practice during the week if he is to be effective on Sunday.

“I need practice for speed and timing,” Dawkins said. “As far as reps and assignments, that’s where experience helps.”

He practiced full go Friday and though he is officially listed as “questionable” on the Broncos’ injury report, Dawkins is expected to be there for his “Wolverine routine” prior to the game Sunday.

And Jackson is listed as probable even so some obviously worthless comments were made on here earlier saying he would be out, period. Don’t ever believe anything you read here without checking it out for yourselves that’s for sure.

  24. strandoftds says:

It`ll be good to see Champ back on the football field. Man, do we need him back.

  25. seweatherman1 says:

Speaking without checking is a lesson I learned the other day the hard way on here Bay. Mike called me out on a statement I made in a blog post and I had to ‘man up’ about it when I realizedf that I simply repeated what someone else had said but not what I had seen someplace ‘official’. I admit when I am wrong. That is one thing that my dad instilled in his children. If you are wrong, say you are wrong and correrct it. Then move on.

  26. seweatherman1 says:

Champ being back on the field is going to make a big difference this week. Just wait and see.

  27. baylinorcrush says:

    Some interesting perspective by Klis:

When it was all about to end for the Broncos, the moment was preceded by such misleading euphoric applause that no one saw it coming.

The Broncos were coming off a 13-3 season in 2005 that led to the AFC championship game, and were 7-2 in 2006 heading into their Nov. 19 showdown against San Diego, also 7-2.

A little more than five minutes into the third quarter, cornerback Darrent Williams stepped in front of a Philip Rivers pass and returned it 31 yards for a touchdown to give the Broncos a 24-7 lead. The sellout crowd at Invesco Field at Mile High erupted. No one among the Sunday night national television audience could have guessed that the Broncos were about to get sucked into a five-year spiral.

“I remember it clearly,” Rivers said this week about Williams’ interception return.

“It’s funny you brought that up,” said John Lynch, the Broncos’ safety that night. “I have a picture of me holding up D-Will in the air after that touchdown. We had that big lead and all was going well. And then it turned into a Rivers highlight session.”

Although it was Rivers’ first year as a starting quarterback and his first game in Denver, he displayed veteran-like amnesia from the Williams’ pick by mixing in two touchdown passes with two LaDainian Tomlinson touchdown runs to rally the Chargers to a 35-27 victory.

“A lot of things changed after that,” said cornerback Champ Bailey, one of the few Broncos holdovers from that 2006 game. “Quarterbacks. Coaches. It just goes to show what losing does to a team.”

“What I remember about that game was not only the feeling you get when you lose, which is bad enough, but the feeling that they were better than we were,” said Lynch, who last played in 2007. “At the time, we were still trying to get by with a gimmicky defense. The all-out blitzes. We caught people by surprise the year before, but the game against the Chargers, I think, was when Rivers exposed us.”

“I look back on it now, and I think we were getting by on smoke and mirrors,” Lynch said. “We just couldn’t match the talent the Chargers had. You hate to think that way, but it was reality. And I hate to say it but I think that’s still the case with the Broncos today.

“I think they’re heading in the right direction with John Elway and John Fox, but it’s going to take two or three more drafts to build that talent base up.”

Sooo much negativity!!!! What on earth do these players know anyway???? There are all bums and are no real fans of the Broncos!!! They should be chastised forever!!! LMAO, nice to know respected players are talking the same way about our Broncos as us realists fans do, thanks Lynch.

BTW, Green Bay totally exposed us this year, last year it was the inability to stop the run every team was on to us, now last week our secondary deep was exposed, I know without Bailey, and this week Rivers will expose the secondary once again but mainly with the shorter TE and RBs routes up the middle which have been another one of our achilles heal since last year. And Dawk half healthy is not going to help that at all since he can’t cover when healthy, Carter can hit but can’t cover and that leaves Moore but he is just learning. Long day ahead tomorrow I’m afraid.

  28. baylinorcrush says:

Wow, Klis going out on a limb about this game and our season already:

And the playoff drought will likely reach six consecutive years if the 1-3 Broncos don’t beat the Rivers-led, 3-1 Chargers on Sunday at newly named Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Now it’s not just the players but the Denver media too!!! So much negativity, it’s unfathomable, even if we lose to the Chargers we could still end up winning the last 11 games and finish 12-4! Playoffs here we come and much much more, I hate all this negativity, GO BRONCOS!

  29. seweatherman1 says:

I tried too keep it optomistic a little I guess. Looking at the portion of the glass that has some liquid in it, I fell the “D” getting a pick 6 late to win the game. It is for sure that one member of the offense isn’t going to contribute anything to the game or win for that matter.

  30. baylinorcrush says:

Now, here is an earth shattering revelation:

Fantasy Spotlight: Go with McGahee over Moreno in Broncos’ backfield

    You think? LMAO.

  31. seweatherman1 says:

Bay, what flavors does the kool-aid come in?

  32. strandoftds says:

    LOL!!

  33. baylinorcrush says:

Legwold is adding to my concerns about the game:

As the Broncos concluded their practice week, cornerback Jonathan Wilhite (illness) remained a question mark for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

He was formally listed as questionable on the Broncos’ injury report today. Missing Wilhite would be a blow to the Broncos secondary, especially given that this week’s opposing quarterback is Philip Rivers.

Wilhite has been Denver’s nickel cornerback — the fifth defensive back in some situational work — and has yet to practice this week. Head coach John Fox has routinely said he prefers players to practice by at least Friday if they are going to play on Sunday.

And Wilhite has clearly been the best back there in Bailey’s absence.

  34. strandoftds says:

Funny thing, we`re only going to win 1 or two more games this season.

  35. baylinorcrush says:

    ORANGE!

  36. strandoftds says:

Wilhite has been coming along pretty good at nickel.

  37. baylinorcrush says:

BTW, deadline for your score predictions is tonight midnight blog time, no picks on game day, no exception.

  38. strandoftds says:

Don`t be surprised if I pick us to lose against the bye week team come Monday. LOL

  39. baylinorcrush says:

Ok, here is mine, we lose a nail biter 24-27.

  40. strandoftds says:

Can you say, OT 24-24. Now thats a real nail biter.

  41. strandoftds says:

And the Chargers kick a game winning FG with just 3 seconds to go in OT! LOL

  42. baylinorcrush says:

Glad you are bringing up the bye week strand, as in every year I will NOT take any score prediction during the bye week, just like the team I will take it OFF!

I will start taking score predictions for the Miami game the Monday following the bye week, October 17th!

  43. seweatherman1 says:

That one should be a win, but with our luck, Miami will solve their qb problem before then.

  44. baylinorcrush says:

    AL DAVIS DIED.

  45. baylinorcrush says:

    Condoleances to his family.

That being said does it mean we can worry even more about the Raiders now that he won’t be there to mess things up? It will be interesting to see who takes over the reins, family member?

  46. marshisboss says:

Condolences to the family of Al Davis. I thought he was older, he was around for ever

  47. royalbroncofan1 says:

Al Davis….. condolences to the Raiders organization and the Davis family. Many memories of the iconic Al Davis.

  48. henryac says:

The NFL looses another legend! Condolences to the Davis Family, the Raider Organization and their fans. Al was one of a kind!
