Of course, no one knows how the game will plan out, but these divisional games are always tough, given the familiarity between the teams. When you add Dennis Allen in the mix, it only adds to that fact. The two players we need to shut down are Darren McFadden and Denarius Moore. both are explosive players, and if we can contain them both, I think we will be successful.

FYI – I just heard Phil Simms interviewed, and he went on and on, gushing over the Broncos.. He called us a “very good” football team, beyond Peyton Manning, and said if not for some mental mistakes, we’d have a much different record. He mentioned our secondary being one of the better ones in the league, and how we get a lot of hits on the QB, which take their toll. Thought I’d mention it, as Phil is usually anti-Broncos..

Game day y’all. Crazy to say must win this early in the season, but we really need to put the Raiders down today. I want to see us get off to a good start, and I feel like a broken record when say we need to control the clock, be balanced on offense, and win the turnover battle… How about a screen pass today? Some run plays to the outside? Maybe some play action?
