  2. jvanderbilt says:

EXO2045 : Are you saying you want Ray Lewis to come to the Broncos or have you seen rumors that he may ?

  3. EXO2045 says:

    Both.

What do you think about The New TEAM?

    TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !

    GO BRONCOS ! ! !

  5. dbroncos6 says:

i say that we get ray lewis , then draft bj raji then our 3-4 defense will be set. we also need to settle this crap with cutler being pissed hopefully the front offense will get that done. and marshall needs to get his act together and we have a good shot next year to make it to the superbowl

  6. jvanderbilt says:

It would be nice to grab Ray Lewis and add him to the defense , but does anyone know whats going on with this Derricl Ward situation ???

  7. sess44 says:

Jason Taylor was released from the Skins!!!!! Go after him, coach!

  8. jvanderbilt says:

    ** I meant - “Derrick” *

  9. marshisboss says:

jason taylor is a great player but we cant add all players at 30 plus years we have to get some young guns as well

  10. kase78matt says:

    is andra davis good?

  11. Ikiratuki says:

I would take Chauncey Davis over Jason Taylor. Broncos should try to get Davis and Ward then address the rest of the needs in FA.

  12. Ikiratuki says:

I mean the rest of the needs in the draft.

  13. Cuttdawggy says:

Ok We Need A Pure Speed RB… 1 Cb 2Linebackers & 2Lineman… What do you guys think? Everyone on D Needs To Be Fiesty

  14. jvanderbilt says:

Does anyone have any information on the Derrick Ward being signed or not ?

  17. broncoxxx#24 says:

Can some 1 answer my Q’s

Are the Broncos planning on trading Cutler???? WTFFF?????

  18. BroncoOrdie0730 says:

It’s been a long time since i’ve posted on here and i was blown away by the rumors about Cutler being traded. as i’m sure by now you all know this won’t happen. it’s free agency, these things happen during this time of year, not sure how many of you recall teams calling and asking to trade for another one of our QB’s a few years back, of course that never went anywhere and he won us two superbowls, (no need to mention his name). McD will not trade Cutler, he knows he’s the man to build the future of this team around. stop listening to the hype and watch the good things that are happening like the signings of a couple strong defensive players. I’m excited about the coming season and have my hopes set high.
    GO BRONCOS!!!

  19. TonUpSoldier says:

    This just in kiddies:

Bill “Journalistic Integrity” Williamson is reporting that Denver is considering bringing in Grady Jackson for a chat. And, also suggesting there might be some jabber about pursuing Jason Taylor. I like this if its true. Yeah he’s a little older, yeah he’s gonna be expensive. But IMAGINE:

Taylor and Doom, Andra Davis and DJ and MAYBE Nate Webster (who i think could be a good role player still) Champ and Goodman, Dawkins and Renaldo Hill?? Come on man, thats a pretty damn good D. If most of those guys even play at 80% while still learning the new 3-4, we’re gonna mess some people up.

Also: Antonio Cromartie is on the block apparently, and supposedly could be had for a 3rd Rounder. Would I like to see him in Denver? Sure. His production was down last year, but the Chargers suffered the same problem as us. No pass rush. It made Dre look horrible here (I still say he was better than he looked most of the time, though he did get burned alot) and Cromartie was supposedly hurt most of last year too. Just a thought.

  20. blum says:

I have kept quiet long enough. First of all I DO NOT believe the coach
when he said he did not want to trade cutler for cassel. This is same
kind of crap that his mentor would pull. This is why I wasn’t happy
when they hired him. How about if your going to use someone for trade bait be a man about it and tell them.

and before any of you tell me I’m not a real fan I’ve been a bronco fan
since john ralston was the coach

    I bleed ORANGE AND BLUE

  21. monodono says:

    Adam or Kyle,
I just read The Raiders just signed Pears, Erik T 6′ 8″ 305 26 Colorado State. If this is true what will The Broncos recieve in return since He is an RFA, that is if The Broncos choose not to counter offer? Will they get an extra pick this year or next year and what round?

    TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !

    GO BRONCOS ! ! !

  22. texark-fan says:

monodono, i think that depends on his playing time next year. therefore the pick would be 2010.
can you lead me to get Jake Plummers stats? i am not much on finding my way around the internet or typing for that matter.

  23. broncomaniac4life says:

is Cutler acting like a baby or what?!?! He thinks he’s untouchable. Are you kidding me? who cares if he went to the ProBowl. Look @ his W/L record. Mediocore @ best. Snake took us to a play-off game (gave the Steelers a go+beat the Pats)+had a much better W/L record. I heard there “might” be trade talk w/Vikings+Bucs. I’m all for it. Get him outie here. Trent Dilfer won the Dance w/the Ravens a few years back+he’s a “manager” QB. Strong D+hardcore running game+solid special teams…w/that you can win w/a “servicable” QB. My point is that an “All World” talent @ QB does not guarantee super bowl wins. We can get Garcia+draft a QB in the later rounds. I’m start’n to get the vibe that we got the 2nd coming of Jeff George. I’m not a Cutler fan anymore. Do not care if he has a rocket arm. He needs to start winning games (That’s what a QB is measured by) before he’s allowed these tantrums. Does anybody think he reminds you of Jeff George? George had all the talent in the world, but was a spoiled brat pre-madonna. I’m starting to think Culter is cut from the same mold. I’m happy ’bout signing Dawkins. He’s an All-Time Warrior, but…how many good years does he have left? 2…maybe 3??? I still think we need to draft a stud Safety in the 2nd/3rd rd. Groom that kid behind BDawk. Dawkins will bring instant toughness+leadership. No joke ’bout that. I think it’s the same game plan we had when we signed Lynch. He’ll only help for 2-3 years @ best. Not sold on Safety Renaldo Hill. He seems stop-gap. That’s what we did when we got Manuel+McCree. They didn’t work out, but I still have hope w/McCree. He’s got serious Nailz. Andre Davis made plays in Cleveland+I hope he does a better job than Niko (Bust!!). I still like Webster so not sure where his future lies in Denver. punches n bunches

  24. texark-fan says:

broncomaniac4life, we need some”spot-gap” players until we draft younger ones in the next few years. these guys are cheap and short term, that is the best way to go for now.
monodono will find your stats on jake.
and to some point I agre with you on jay. only his ints. are JC

Did anybody else here or read this article?

    OWOSSO, Mich. (AP) ―

The father of former CSU and Denver Broncos Quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt has died. Linebacker Brad Van Pelt, who spent 11 of his 14 NFL seasons with the New York Giants, died of an apparent heart attack. He was 57.

The Giants announced the death Wednesday.

The elder Van Pelt starred as a safety at Michigan State. He was chosen by the Giants in the second round in 1973 NFL went on to make the Pro Bowl five years in a row from 1976-1980.

When the Giants drafted Lawrence Taylor in 1981, he and Van Pelt, Harry Carson and Brian Kelley formed one of the league’s most feared linebacking units.

Van Pelt also played with the Los Angeles Raiders and Cleveland Browns.
My condolences go out to Bradlee and his family for their huge loss.

Van Pelt’s son Bradlee, began his college career at his father’s alma mater, but then transferred to CSU to pursue his dream of playing quarterback.

In the 2006 NFL draft, the Broncos drafted Vanderbilt quarterback Jay Cutler. In training camp, Cutler moved ahead of Van Pelt on the depth chart making Van Pelt the third string quarterback, behind Jake Plummer and Cutler. He was released by the Denver Broncos on 2 September 2006.

Van Pelt was then signed by the Houston Texans on November 27, 2006 to be their third-string quarterback, brought in by his former coach in Denver, Gary Kubiak. He was released by the Texans on August 27, 2007.

I wonder if Bradlee is still interested in playing in The NFL? I really liked this guy and I thought He may develope into a good NFL QB. It also seemed that He and Jay Cutler worked well together. Some one get on the horn and find out.

    TIME OF POSSESSION ! ! !

Read Top Stories on the Broncos home page. This is on our website. More credible then ESPN or anything else.

Head Coach Josh McDaniels and Jay Cutler will meet next week when Cutler returns to Denver from Nashville.

“The Denver Broncos are not trading Jay Cutler. Period,” said Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth.

  33. texark-fan says:

    Broncos hosting free-agent RB — 4:14 p.m.

Veteran NFL running back LaMont Jordan was expected to meet with the Denver Broncos Tuesday evening, KDVR (Denver) FOX 31’s Josina Anderson has learned.

Jordan, 30, spent the 2008 season with New England where he carried the ball 80 times for 363 yards and 4 touchdown

  36. OregonElite says:

The Broncos are doing great in free agency. Read this blog to keep on top:

  37. orangenbluebroncotrue says:

T.O. was released??? WOW…no1 else is gonna put up w/him….anywayz, LaMont Jordan?? wow, i am really not 2 big of a fan of any of our signings, aside Dawk and Davis…not 2 exciting of a future as far as defense wise…i mean what if champ and dawk get hurt? heck they’ve both already seen their best days….i am excited about those 2 tho…other than that, not much on the D….we will see tho…hopefully i’ll be eating these words

  38. gylizard says:

Cool to see us get a power back like Lamont Jordan..I hope this doesn’t mean that they are giving up on Ryan Torain already and Peyton Hillis..that would be dumb..they will get a chance to compete I am sure..J J Arrington will be a nice complimentary back..and he can return kicks too. Chris Simms..hummmmmm the young man has alot of potential..Byron Leftwich might have been a better choice..he filled in great for Big Ben for the Steelers. Now it is time to go out and get some D lineman..and a PASS rusher who can do the job!

  39. JSAPP2 says:

Agreed orangenbluebroncotrue!!! Das Vedania Igor, enjoy your new home in Dallas. Denver’s defensive free agent strategy: let all the other teams gobble up all of the talent then sign a back up running back. Denver’s 1st pick #12 in the draft Stafford from GA? would not suprise me!!!! It’s going to be another long year. Hopefully I’ll be eating those words.
