I know we are on to a new blog but maybe Cat won’t recognize that I would agree with her. LOL Peyton would have gotten his hundred million any where. It is likely he could have asked and gotten more from the Broncos. Certainly Tenn would have paid more. Nope, I wouldn’t agree that Peyton arrived in Denver due to the paycheck.

As to being overpaid and whether or not any football player could ever produce 100 million in completed passes, yards, and wins…well now, that is a different question altogether.

Framed another way, we could ask whether or not Peyton’s income could have been used to build a more complete team….fill up some of the depth at LB and OL. We might possibly have attracted a couple of good return guys. Just speculating.

Here we are – and here we go. We are gonna find out if JE can build a football team.

Ahhh!! It feels like tomorrow is regular season!!!! I’m extra glad that it’s @ home…. Orange crush baby!!! I love those orange jerseys. Of course I didn’t see them in HD and I heard some complaints about how bright they are on TV, but I think they’re awesome.

I too am looking forward to the game with SF. I hope to see the offense move the ball but most of all, to see our offensive line protect and create holes for our running game. I don’t believe we have anything to worry about with Peyton and he will do great in the season. For anyone who doubts Champ’s ability, just throw at him and we’ll see. I think he may be the best corner to play the game and will again show it this season.
