Fox on QBs

October 10th, 2011 - 1:06pm by Gray Caldwell

With players off Monday, Head Coach John Fox said he wouldn’t make an announcement on the quarterback position during his afternoon press conference.

“That’s something that we’ll evaluate and we’ll meet,” Fox said. “The way we’ll operate is we’ll communicate with the people involved and the team long before we announce it.”

But after staff meetings later in the afternoon and the chance to meet with players tomorrow, the head coach said he’ll likely be ready to discuss the situation on Tuesday.

“I’d say there would be a strong likelihood that we will address that tomorrow,” he said.

As for what would go into his decision on who will start after the bye week, Fox said “everything.”

“You evaluate everything,” he said. “When you make decisions in your heart and in your mind, it’s what’s best for the football team. Whatever direction we go, that will be the number one thing in mind.”

And for the record I was jumping up and down and celebrating with glee just like a fat kid who finds the stash of candy bars hidden in the house. I will continue to celebrate if Tebow offers up more candy bars for me to enjoy but I wont be as pleased if he serves up spinach; it has its moments just like Orton did but is not in the least bit satisfying.

Ok, so John fox probably read my blog before the game where I said that he should be fired because he can not manage a team and make the right decisions for our Broncos. Putting Tim Tebow in at half was awesome, HOWEVER, I do feel if he would have put him in after the interception that Orton “MR QUITTER” made which SD capitalized on. That pissed me of so much. Sometimes its ok to make a change before HALFTIME, but at least he made the change. What will ULTIMATELY SUCK, is if her comes out tomorrow and says he is sticking with ORTON “MR QUITTER” just because Miami is 0-4 so hell, why not, can it get much worse???”. If he makes that decision, he should be benched just like ORTON “Mr Quitter should be!. We need TEBOW, we could be 4-1 if we would have started him the beginning of the year.

If I could fly to Miami for the game, I WOULD. I love my BRONCOS and I DO BELIEVE that TIM TEBOW is the “NEXT” Elway for the Broncos in due time.

GOD Speed Tim Tebow and God Speed my Broncos

Broncos fans please enough negativity I dislike Ortons play as much as anyone but there is no need for completely uncalled for name calling Orton wants to win just as much as anyone on that team and it isn’t his fault that he doesn’t have elite talent. Fault lies with Fox for sticking with him but that has now been resolved

Orton had his time to prove himself and after loss after loss it has been proven… He’s not for the Broncos. Go Tebow!!! if they don’t put Tebow in I’m seriously considering that upper managemnet and Coaching staff have decision making problems… I have been a Denver Broncos Fan for many years (30+) and I live in Virginia. Love MY TEAM!!!!! Go BIG “D” Thats Denver!!!! I called them that long before the Cowboys started saying it… Go BIG “D” Go BIG “Te”!!!!! Go BRONCOS!!!!!!!!

This is all we (the fans) wanted. Put Tebow in to see what he could do. Took him awhile to get into the game but once he started a person could see a difference in the hole team. Glad to here that they made him the starting QB. So lets see what he can do with a week & ahalf of practice with the starters. Good Luck Tebow. Relax & do your thing.
