I understand that we are not as popular and as great a destination as we once were and that we were the second worst last year … but neither are the redskins and they are racking them up. I am aware that snyder doesnt mind dropping money but those contracts, even tho i didn’t look at them, didn’t seem like stuff the broncos can’t afford. The only way a guy with great potential comes to a bad team is if he gets paid like he hasn’t gotten paid in the past. Its usually later in thier late 20s early 30s that they start thinking more about the ring. Mebane is stil 26 and hasn’t had a real contract yet … im still holding faith but if we don’t get him its fine … i rarely get wat i want im used to it … i think we will do well with or without Mebane but i would like him here and he would be a vast improvement. I bet the Triumvirate is a bit freaked out about the FA developments concerning us on all fronts, the Orton deal and inability to sign wanted players, they’re going to have to go to plan B pretty quickly, if they’re not down to plan D already, LOL.
