While most of the Rocky Mountain region was asleep, A.J. Pierce, Jordan Clayton, Leonard Delvalle and Dean Mirelez were already in line for the Broncos’ first practice of training camp.
The group arrived at 8 p.m. last night and began forming the line at 2:30 a.m. when the second group of people arrived at the Broncos’ Dove Valley training facility.
Pierce said the key to passing the time until the gates open is to bring some form of entertainment.
“Bring toys to play with,” he advised. “Keep yourself entertained, most importantly. Then your hours go by pretty quick. Other than that it will be a long night.”
Pierce says he plans on attending the majority of the team’s training camp practices this year.
As to who he’s most looking forward to seeing on the practice field?
“Peyton Manning,” he said. “New defensive coordinator, we’ll see what the defense is going to be like. Hopefully it’s a great year.”
The team’s first practice began at 8:50 a.m. Check back to DenverBroncos.com throughout the day for in-depth coverage.
