The last 8 matchups between Denver and Atl, dating back to 1985, with the superbowl thrown in for good measure, we are 7-1.
Last time these two teams met, Denver pulled out the win on the road 24-20. In that game the Broncos had a breakout game from Peyton Hillis. Wesley Woodyard got his first start at LB and Spencer Larsen earned true gridiron status when he became the first Denver player to start at Fullback and Linebacker. Including ST if memory serves me correct!
In 04, despite 499 yards of passing offense in the Mile High, Denver fell to Atl 41-28. Vick put on a clinic that day which our defense had no answer for.
In XXXIII, a certain VP earned game MVP honors while wrapping up back to back championships, a dominating season and an illustrious career!

Monday nights matchup features legend Peyton Manning against Atl’s rising star in Matt Ryan. Who is an astonishing 26-4 at home. Which earned him his nickname Matty Ice.
Manning however, is no slouch when it comes to playing in a dome…ahem!
It seems like a no brainier now that the schedule makers placed this one on Primetime. It’s going to be a great game. I think the wait is well worth it for this type of matchup. Especially after watching a comeback performance on last Sunday, that reminisces familiarity in Broncos Country…

Just lazing time on this Saturday afternoon. Awesome find Turtle. I am jealous. The only diamonds I’ll ever find are at the Jewelry stores.

BT that’s so funny because Ive always called the Ravens the dirty birds. They are all dirty birds I guess… but I like the Falcons better than the other two.

I just got chewed out for complaining that U have to wait til Monday and to be honest I could care less about nationally televised games. I really just want to watch Peyton Manning. Ive been waiting for ages and I don’t want to wait anymore.

Miss Cat! Atlanta is the Dirty Birds! that nickname stuck there the year Jamaal Anderson was such a stud and we beat them in the Superbowl!

As a kid my Grandpa always called the Seahawks the ‘Dirty Birds’ because their DL/OL always played dirty in his mind…

On a side note, I was digging a water line yesterday for our indoor arena and found a 4.8 Carat Yellow diamond! I had it weighed identified yesterday, and I will get it graded this upcoming week… it ways .9 Grams and looks like a dirty little triangle! Diamonds can be panned just like gold, so I took today off and i’m going panning in the same creek bed!

Boys the dirty birds are the Ravens. Both teams can’t have the same nick name here… LOL

I hate/love MNF, but I am seriously not wanting to wait to see my boys play until Monday Night so soon. ;(
