Please…just let Manning be Manning…from the beginning! The defense last year felt they has to keep the game close until late 4th quarter. This year my belief is the defense thinks the offense will score more points than the opponent. Bad karma all the way around. We don't have the horses up front to dominate the line of scrimmage. Front 7 is weak thus when plays get past the 2nd line of defense, the corners and safeties need to pick up. We need more intensity from all of the front 7 - plain and simple. MORE INTENSITY. Next year’s draft needs to focus solely on the DEFENSE!!! Why tried another running play at the final drive in the Pats 20 yard, when you are lossing for 10 ponits and you have to score as soon possible? Why del Rio has to takes 2 quarters to see what Brady an co. was doing?, he said at the press conference, "we have to stop the run first", so, why he play whit a long pass deffense every plays in the fist half?. An a good deffense never allow an a 3 and 17 fist down!!!!, 3 and 10 fist down!!!, and a 35 opponent fist downs!!!, an a good deffense dosent allow and a 2 consecutive +30 yards pass for TD (vs Texas)!!!!, and a good deffense dosent allow: more of 100 running yards per game more of 250 passing yards per game 22.8 point per game = 2.6 TD per game (if the deffense could stop the 50% of TD and allow ony FG we could have won 2 games) So I thnk, the offense has to work in the playbook, practice more running plays in differente formations, we have Manning!! so make a playbook whit more flat passes, whit more delay runnings plays (but use the imagination) and please!!! dont be predectible using the same formation and the same play over and over!!!!, The offense coordinator has to be more smart and logical whit the timming of the game,"dont send a running play when you are lossing for more of 8 points and only have less of 3 minutes on 4th Quater!!!!, And please!!! secure the football!!!! dont make so many turnovers!!!! LDE, RDE, DT, NT need to work in they tackes abilites, and dont miss a RB tacke or a QB Sacks and in a sweep running play, thy have to seal the line and delay the RB. If they fail, one or two of MLB, SLB, WLB has to go permanent to attack the running game or be the pass rusher, and that create a hole in front of the secundary, and thats was happended in the 5 games!!!, thas why Brady could attak the flat all the game, and the RB was able to run in the sweep play, one after another play!!!. when these 4 guys cant stop the RB, the secondary has to help and takes the MLB position with the safety, and thas why Texas could scored 14 ponts with a +30 yads touchdown passes!!!!. I believe it is because they do not feel like they HAVE TO win teh game, as they did last year. This year the sense of urgency is down and they are learning a new system. We shall see what happens.
