On another note, the Broncos signed Ty Law today, another former Patriot, and future Hall of Famer. What do you guys think?

Kyle Orton is our starting quarterback because he gives us the chance to win now. The stigma of not going deep is an interesting one. Last weeks failures were multiple. Can you really have an effective deep game when your quarter back has pressure as soon as he takes his drop? Quite frankly no. What is the best remedy to catch an overly blitzing defense? The screen pass. We seen more than normal last week, but they too failed. Because a lack of execution. Yes we had a bad game last week. They happen and more are going to happen. We are 6-1 right now after playing the Cowboys, N.E., in S.D, and in Baltimore( whose last three losses were for a total of 11 points, before playing us). We play Pittsburgh monday and still have harder challenges ahead. Be ready for more in the loss column. What we don't need is to imagine we are going to break a winning formula half way through the season. And start playing outside of ourselves because of a few losses.

imready- Cutler is gone - really now...when did that happen?? My post about what I remembered about the last time we played the Steelers. Just because he's gone doesn't mean we can't reflect on some of the good plays he did make for us. What he offered in talent, he lacked in leadership. We all know that.....tell us something we don't know.
And since you can kick it farther than Berger..... put your money where you're mouth is and try out of the Team then.

Reality is reality kids, whether you like it or not. Cutler is gone , who gives a crap? Not me, his short comings didn't make up for his physical skills. Orton's leadership and great decision making doesn't make up for his inability to make all the throws and it taking forever for him to get the ball out of his hands. Can we win the big one with Orton? I say maybe, he does a lot of things very well but he's no Peyton Manning. I say give him a chance and see if he can make a play coach, send the ball down field.
What I am really worried about was signing that old fart to punt the ball. Kern had the leg and needed guidence and time to learn. Burger is over done, slow getting the ball off and I can kick it as far as he does. That was the only really bad personal move I've seen this team make since Coach McDaniels took the reigns. That guy really worries me.
Glad C. Powell gets another shot and Ball looks like a beast , more good moves by our young coach.
We gonna beat them Steelers! Go Broncos!

#1, you are hoping for Orton to fail, why don't you say it like it is. We are not exactly idiots out here, how do you expect us to think that you honestly want Orton to succeed when after listening to you rant all week against him anyone would know that the truth is, it is not McD who is married to Orton, but you who are married to Cutler. Your comments roll right off my back. You are just here to get people riled up, it must be a New-York thing, or a punk thing, or both. It is sad to see somebody so hateful call themselves a Bronco fan, and from New York, nonetheless. If you are a Bronco fan, then I don't want to be one! Nothing to worry though, you are just a Shanny/Cutler fan.

just watched AFC Playbook and total access...MAN they said the Ravens said Denver doesn't go deep so they just played up and jumped routes....just as some of us on here have been complaining about. They were all over Marshall and had no respect for him goin long. WTF We have one of the tallest, biggest go up and get it WR and other teams don't even achknowledge it because we WASTE his talent with this conservative BULL$%!t.

I can't believe how conservative our play calling has been. ...If we don't open it up, there's no way in heck we're beetin Pittsburgh. McD better start being alot more aggressive and calling plays that gives us a complete offensive attack. I don't understand why he wouldn't have already (considering he did it with Brady n Moss all day long..even cassel n moss).

..the only reason i would say he hasn't is because he doesn't believe in Orton enough to let him light it up. If that's the case that means he's holding other peoples talent back because our QB sucks (to put it bluntly) What is scary is that maybe McD is too pridefull to want to pull Orton or admit that because of all the offseason drama w/ Cutler means he's kinda married to Orton or else he looks stupid if he doesn't work out.

Hey i hope it's a simple matter of they just neglected the long ball and being more aggresive because players were adjusting to the new offense and the conservative play calling was working. That would be great. I'd love to see Orton have a great game throwing short and long and putting up 20-30+ points leading his team and getting rid of all the doubters (including myself). Time will tell...very soon!!!
