No doubt about it, the hardest hit of the game just came from defensive end Elvis Dumervil.
On second-and-10 from the Broncos 49-yard line, Dumervil came off the left edge unblocked and sacked Brady. The hit knocked the quarterback off his feet as Brady never saw Dumervil coming.
Dumervil now has at least a half of a sack in seven consecutive games. He has 8.5 sacks on the year and 51.5 for his career.
The sack knocked the Patriots back six yards and punted after failing to pick up the first down on the next play.
