Another week gone by, and another Bronco up for an award.

D.J. Williams has been nominated for the GMC Sierra Defense Player of the Week for Week 3.
Williams posted a game-high 16 tackles in the Broncos’ 34-32 win against the New Orleans Saints, but it was one tackle that may be remembered above all the rest. With New Orleans driving, it was Williams who tackled Saints running back Pierre Thomas for a loss of a yard on third-and-1 from the Denver 24-yard line. That set up a 43-yard field goal attempt by Martin Gramatica that sailed wide right and helped seal the Denver win.
Voting ends Thursday at 2:00 p.m. MDT. You can vote for Williams here.

that was a fun game to watch, as have all bronco games this year. its great to see our players getting some recognition from the rest of the league
He definitely deserves this!!!
Orange crush indeed. Can’t say I was incredibly impressed with the defense, but they did step it up 3 times in that game. The fumble, the goal line stand, and at the end of the game after we went 3-out they didn’t let Grammatica have another chance at winning the game. If this defense can just be DECENT, we have a great shot at doing something special this year.
Congratulations goes out to DJ Williams !! He had a heckava game, as he was all over the field ! Came up big with that stop on 3rd and 1, when we needed it most!
if only all 11 players played with the intensity DJ played with. I’m not moaning, i just don’t want to feel as though the O need to score on every drive to win
Go Broncos!
If underrated had a name it would be DJ Williams. This guy is really good. Unfortunately the rest of the D isn’t. The Broncos should go for a big trade with a lousy team. Maybe a safety from a bad team would do it. The offense is awsome but don’t expect this airshow to last deep into the cold months of the season.
The defense is terrible. I still think they should play Niko at MLB
Good luck. He is slowly becoming the best player on that side of the ball. Love watching him put in a full day of work. All Ready!
snake53, i couldnt agree more about the D.
DJ definately saved this defense from even worse statistics. At this point, there is no identity, no idea of how to play good defense with the personel on the field. DJ, Elvis, and actually Engleberger-whom I’ve actually thought should not be starting, but is producing-are the only defenders who are showing anything. Robertson gives a push here and there, but not consistently.
Maybe Slovik should try aligning the LB’s a bit different, to keep them from overpursuing, and running out of control, missing tackles.
Corners-are they not the better cover corners? Play them up to jam recievers, get the offense out of timing, give your front 7 a chance to apply pressure.
Dline-More games!!! slants, pinches, twists, etc. Obviously, they can’t get pressure, man to man, so use their speed and move them around. Then fill with the LBs.
Nice job, D.J. Hopefully, the rest of the defense plays with your excellence and passion as the season progresses.
I believe we should stick with the LBs we have starting right now. DJ is just DJ, and will always be a great LB. Webster plays with a lot of intensity, which is a good thing to have for a LB. And Boss seems to have lit up a fire under his butt, which I think comes from him finally getting to play on the same team as Champ.
Great Job DJ keep it up
