What happened to coaches believing in their players . . .to coach a game to "not lose" and fail to trust your quarterback to get one first down? Good riddance to McCoy -- now we need to either get a good OC or just let Manning be the OC and call the plays -- at least he'll have confidence in the Quarterback!

This one is going to hurt for a long time...

The play calling was terrible, the in-game management decisions were awful, the officiating was not good, and the players did not execute. We got burned in all areas, and it's tough to stomach such a loss. It's impossible to place the blame in this game, b/c if one of those calls went our way, or if we converted one of those 1st downs, or if we defended one of those deep balls, we'd all be looking at next week, and none of this would even be a concern.

I'm going to stand up for the old:

Stokley played awesome and Brookings had his moments.

I understand what you are saying though, specially about Bailey, speed is the first thing that goes with age and the CB position is just not one you can play as you get older.

Champ kept saying all year you're only as good as your young guys play....It was ironic that many of our game changing errors came from our vets. With the exception of the Moore misplay I think they were all from the vets. The truth to the matter is we have 37 year old QB come next year. Our time is now. Our situation doesn't afford the luxury of this team developing into winners. As others have said, you just can't play not to lose, and it definitely felt like we were doing that.

Funny thing is Fox has all the personality traits of an easy going guy who would let loose at any time, just having a good time. So why so stuck up on game day! I got the answer, a few shots of booze before the game would do the trick, I believe he is that kind of guy, it takes one to know one, haha.

So here you go John, just fill his locker with some good stuff next season, LOL.

Is it bad when I'm sad we lost the game, I go see the movie Les Mis (a sad movie about love and revolution) and it makes me feel better?

The loss alone is hard to stomach, but the way we had a meltdown at the end is what makes it burn.

Not a darn thing Bay, not a darn thing. Thats what Elway will do. Short of firing him there is no way to fix fox ball. He is in like his 60s i believe ... aint changing his stripes now. And a VP most likely will not fire new HC after 2 seasons that have been winning seasons for the most part but i don't think we got into this to make playoffs. Options are limited. Not unless we want fox gone and McCoy as HC .... shudder to think. No, we are stuck with foxball for a while i imagine ... and anything drastic would be considered overreacting to a loss.
