Last time they were weak on the right side with Yanda out. Now its the left with Reid out. Wonder if they will do what they have in the past and put Yanda at LG with Reid out. If McKinnie is the LT Doom should be able to go to work with his small size and speed rushes. McKinnie is a big guy but is slow.
Looks like Porter’s days as a Bronco are numbered. If we move on, and he’s cleared to play, how effective could he be? Too bad, he seems like a good kid and a solid player, but we can’t forget that the NFL is a very tough business…
Yes OT there is some speculation that when McGahee comes back to the 53 man roster it is Porter who gets the ax.
If they do that, they may use their HB or TE to either chip or double. Doom typically can’t fight through a double just because of his smaller size and strength. The Ravens will do whatever they have to to keep Flacco clean. I could also see them try and move the pocket so as not to give Miller and Doom a clean shot at Flacco.
I can’t wait for the games this weekend!!!!
Yea Brian I can see them trying that. But then you have Miller on the other side to worry about lol teams can fin an answer for one but not both. Unless they keep 7 people in to block lol
The last thing I want Ray Lewis to see before he retires is the Broncos Express picking the second helping of Raven out of our teeth.
Yep…that’s when they make mistakes and leave holes and we end up with rushers hitting the QB completely unblocked. No worries. Our guys are gonna get some.
Happy playoffs eve!!!
I think raidr on the last blog was correct – it just feels like Lewis will have too much PM coming at him, and Flacco will have too much of Miller.
This will be a great test to see if Moreno has really re-established himself. We’re going to need his contribution greatly in this game.
Agreed Brian.
With the focus being on Doom&Gloom, Wolfe will need to show that he is a force to reckon with and have our three pronged monster really emerge.
I had hoped that Porter would be ready to shine in the Conference championship and the Super Bowl like he did for New Orleans. He was injured most of the Saints super bowl season and came back just in time to make impacts during the Saints final two games.
I was really looking for him to do big things for us this year with him being a Louisiana guy. Oh well the next men up are doing their thing. I am soooooooooooooooo AMPED for tomorrow.
New blog.
